Jean grabbed the newspaper from one of her knights. Currently, it was lunch time so she had time to rest.
She looked at the headline of the newspaper and almost spat out the meat she was chewing.
"What the fuck." Jean cursed as she continued reading the words written in the newspaper. It was like this.
Yesterday morning, Both The Overlord of The Vortex, Osial and his wife, Beisht attacked Liyue Harbor. The Liyue Qixing, the Adepti, the Millelith and the The Crux which is the pirate crew led by famous pirate captain, Beidou all settled aside their differences and defended Liyue Harbor valiantly.
There was also one more defender. Aether, who was then a hero in Mondstadt joined them to defend the Harbor. For those who don't know who Aether is, he defeated the evil dragon Stormterror alongside with the Goddess of Freedom, Venti and Clan Head of the Ragvindir Clan, Diluc.
From the witnesses who were there during the fight, they say that Aether cut off one of Osial's seven heads with a snap of his fingers. They also say that he also cut off two other of Osial's heads with one slice of his katana.
There is more, civilians felt a massive explosion while evacuating the Harbor. Some also say that they saw a big golden dome and a giant tsunami after the explosion. Thankfully, the barrier created by the adeptus Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper protected the Harbour from being swallowed by the massive wave. Osial was killed in the explosion.
While floating in the air, Aether was declared a God by the captain of The Crux pirates, Beidou.
She called him, The 'God Of Destruction'. She also gave him an additional title, 'Destroyer of the Vortex'. The soldiers of the Millelith and her crew kneeled before him. But the surprising thing is, The Qixing and the adepti also knelt down.
Not only did this act solidify his position as a God, but it also gave him the authoritative power as one.
But I have one question, will this new development in Liyue Harbor anger the world around it? Or will The God of Destruction continue the Will of Rex Lapis and bring Liyue Harbor into a new age of peace and prosperity?

"So is chi-chi a God now, mama?" Klee asked while sitting in Jean's lap. Jean looked down to see her confused face.
"Yes, he is. I can't believe this. We leave him alone for a few weeks and then this happens." Jean sighed while rubbing her forehead.
"This new development is great for him. His name will already reach Snezhnaya and most definitely the Tsaritsa's ears." Venti added. Jean turned around and saw the goddess drinking beer from a mug.
" But I wonder how he got so strong in the first place. " Jean wondered.
" My guess is loads of grueling training. To me, his explosion attack proves that he can do attacks that are a lot more destructive." Venti sat on the couch and crossed her legs. Jean sighed.
" Let's just hope that it doesn't get to his head. " Jean muttered. Venti heard her mumbling and smiled.
" Trust me, Jean. He won't. I have full confidence that he will still remain humble.....
In the Northland Bank. La Signora and Childe have grim faces. "This is getting worse. First he defeats you and the Osial. Now he's a God." Signora muttered. Childe looked at her.
" The news about him becoming a God has already spread to Snezhnaya. What should we do? " Childe asked for advice.
" We go back and have a meeting. We need to stop him before he does anything to threaten Her Majesty's ambitions and position. " Signora replied to her.
" We need to leave now. I can already sense the Millelith closing in on our doorsteps. " Childe told her. Signora nodded.
A ring of water surrounded them and closed into them. It suddenly dispersed. Childe and Signora were already gone without a trace.

AlHaitham is reading the newspaper with a serious aura around him. "God of Destruction huh? An interesting development in Liyue Harbor." He muttered.

It already has been a week since Aether became the God of Destruction. Right now, him and Zhongli were having lunch in Wanmin Restaurant.
"So, how are you adapting to this?" Zhongli asked him after pouring tea for himself and Aether.
"It's going well. I've already gotten over the occasional stares and interviews by reporters from The Daily Teyvat. And we have already completed the rebuilding of Liyue Harbor. " Aether smiled at him. Zhongli nodded.
" Good. I actually didn't think you would be declared a God this soon. I predicted you would be declared a God in three years but my predictions are wrong." Zhongli thanked him. Aether nodded.
"How has the Qixing and the adepti reacted to this new change?" Zhongli asked again. Aether frowned.
"Not good. That whole kneeling thing at the beach was just an act. They don't recognize me as a God at all. But I don't need their opinions. I just do what's right. " Aether told him with a massive frown on his face.
"What's wrong Aethe? I can see that you're very affected. Maybe I can offer you guidance." Zhongli offered. Aether rubbed his forehead. He reached into his right pocket and took out a black ring.
He put it in front of Zhongli. "I proposed to Xiao a day before our fight with Osial. She said yes. But now she won't even talk to me." Aether explained.
"Is it because of you actually dying in the middle of the fight?" Zhongli tried to confirm. Aether nodded.
"Apparently I was too nonchalant about this. I came back like nothing happened to me. You could imagine how everyone reacted. " Aether told him. Zhongli sighed.
" What happened in Celestia? I've only been there once. It was to discuss battle plans to eradicate Khean'riah. In my time there I also realized time was slowed down in there. " Zhongli told his experiences.
" I stayed in Celestia for 6 years. 1 year in Celestia is 10 seconds in Teyvat. A minute after my death I was already back." Aether explained.
" Long story short, I was trained by the most powerful people in heaven for 6 years. I was trained by your children, your wife, Raiden Makoto and her friends. I was then brought back by Asmoday after I did some errands for her. " Aether shortened his experiences. Zhongli nodded.
" You seem to not be surprised. " Aether commented.
" You thought I don't believe you? Trust me Aether, I know when you're lying. This isn't one of the times. " Zhongli answered while finishing his tea from the tea cup.
" I also have a solution for everyone to forgive you. Do you want to hear it? " Zhongli asked him with a mysterious aura around him. Aether grinned and nodded.
" Tell me more, God of Contracts. " Aether told him.
"Please stop calling me that, especially if we're in public." Zhongli scolded him calmly. Aether chuckled and scratched his neck.
" Just tell me your idea. Zhongli.....
