Continuing on the story. While Amber and Paimon had not heard about Aether whining about his now bloodstained clothes, Aether was finding chests that were located around the camp. He only found one Exquisite Chest, which is a good find. He opened it and out came Mora, Crystals and a bow. A Sharpshooter's Oath. The best three star bow you could get in Genshin.

(Bro thinks he's playing an RPG game. Wait is Genshin an RPG game?)

"Wow I'm beating Childe at how many weapons I can hold now. Eh one more couldn't hurt. I can make fire and wind arrows and do so much more with my magic. " Aether decided to add the bow to his collection of weapons. He can train with it when he has the time.

" Wow Amber is looking at me with fear in her eyes. Should do something to calm her down before she actually shoots me with a bow. " Aether thought of the possibility of it happening. It's pretty high.

Aether got close to Amber and Paimon. He got sad that she raised her bow at him.

"Damn is she really that scared of me? I mean come on all I did was kill hilichurls. Brutally. Shit that's probably what scared her." Aether thought sadly. This girl is scared of him and for good reason.

" C'mon Paimon we gotta go to Mondstadt. It's Amber's promise to guide us isn't it? " Aether smiled at Paimon who just nodded.

" But what about your hand? Are you just going to let it stay like that?" Aether looked down. The arrow was still stuck in his hand.

" Oh.... It's not painful at all. All we need is bandages that we thankfully have. Paimon can you please help me grab it from my backpack? " Aether asked Paimon for help.

" Mhm. Here. " Paimon searched his backpack for the bandages and gave it to Aether.

"Are you gonna pull it out like that? It seems pretty dangerous." Paimon was concerned about how he was going to do it. It definitely included hurting himself.

" A little pain can't stop me from finding my sister." Aether said determined. He grabbed the arrow. Amber's eyes widened.

"He's actually doing it. I gotta help him somehow!" Despite fearing him for his brutality in killing his enemies. Amber still has to help him. But she still didn't move

Aether pulled the arrow. It was stuck pretty deep in there. "I've done this once. And I can do it again." Aether muttered and everyone heard it. Amber's eyes widened even more.

"He had to pull it out before.... imagine the pain...." Amber felt even more pity for him but she still didn't move to help him.

"Don't look Paimon. It's going to be bloody." Aether warned her. Paimon looked away with some hesitance.

"Alright....." Paimon turned away. She was feeling very sad that Aether had to go through this and Paimon couldn't help him.

Aether started to pull. "Argh... Ack.... Shit....

*Chik!*

*Ssssshhhhhh...*

The arrow was being slowly pulled out with Aether resisting his urge to scream.

Amber still didn't move. "Wait... why am I standing here? It's my duty as an Outrider to help the people in need! And yet I'm standing here and staring at a person in pain..... "

Aether was still pulling. But a few seconds later he made a mistake.... He pulled the arrow out too quickly and too hard.

"Arghh!!" Aether through the arrow and fell down. It seems that strong people also have weaknesses. His vision was blurry. Paimon heard his scream and immediately turned around to see Aether on the ground breathing heavily.

"Aether! Oh my Archon what's happening!" Paimon screamed worried about him

"Ban.... da... ges... now....." Aether muttered.

"Don't worry! Paimon will save you! " Paimon went to grab the bandages but it slipped because of her clumsiness when in stressful situation.

"No! The bandages!" Paimon yelled chasing the bandages.

" Why didn't I make a fire armor technique like Thomas." Aether thought and regretting his decision of not training harder.

"And why am I making a big deal about this? It's not like I'm going to actually die. Amber will help me? Will she?" Aether looked at Amber for help which snapped her out of it.

"Stupid! He's clearly in pain and you're standing here not helping! What kind of Outrider are you if you're scared at him when he's not doing anything to you! " Amber ran and grabbed the rolling bandages.

" I'll help! As a Knight of Favonius it is my duty to help those who need it! "Amber went to Aether and took out an ointment from her pouch and rubbed it on Aether who had just got up.

"It may sting a bit so please bear with it." Amber rubbed it on Aether. He didn't feel anything since he was staring at Amber while she was busy rubbing the ointment and wrapping the bandages on his arm.

"She looks so beautiful when she's at work. I am very regretful for making this girl scared of me. I'll pay her back somehow. " Aether was still staring at Amber with her not noticing as she was still busy tending to his wounds.

"And done....*Blush*" Amber looked up at Aether who was looking at her with admiration and awe in his eyes.

"Why is he staring at me with that look? I don't know why but.... I kinda like it." Amber shook those thoughts off her head. She needs to be focused

"Thank you so much Amber. I don't know what I would've been without you. You look very beautiful when you're tending to my wounds. How can I ever repay you though for making you scared?" Aether smiled widely and asked her. Amber lost all focus and blushed even more. Her face matches the color of her clothes.

"R–really? You think so? I- I helped you because it's my duty to protect and help those who need it. I don't need to be repaid. Your thanks is enough for me." Amber managed to reply back. Aether smiled even wider.

" Then I'll repay you with this. " Aether gave her a head pat.

" E-ehhhhhhh.... What're you doing?! " Amber asked seemingly to get impossible levels of shades of red.

"Giving you head pats because you deserve it for helping and protecting so many people" Aether replied messing up her tidy hair.

"S–stop it you'll mess up my hair!" Amber said taking Aether's hand from her head.

"Even Outriders can get flustered as well. Noted." Aether thought smiling.

"Hey! Paimon wants some head pats as well! You can't just give her head pats without giving Paimon some as well! " Paimon flew over and scolded Aether.

" Hehe. Alright alright I'll give you head pats as well. And you can't escape this Amber. " Aether said before head patting the both of them. Amber who just got a grip of herself blushed again and lowered her head shyly to receive the pats. Meanwhile Paimon smiled like a sun while receiving those pats.

A few minutes passed, it seemed like forever for those three. It kinda looks like a happy family if a passerby passed by.

"Alright that's enough head pats for now. We still have to head back to Mondstadt." Aether said taking his hand off from both of their heads.

" Awwwww. I wanted moreeeee. " Paimon whined.

" I'll give you more when we have time. " Aether replied.

" That was the most grueling moment of my life." Amber said turning away.

" C'mon Amber we all know you loved it. Paimon certainly knows because of how you were smiling when he was patting your head." Paimon said with a mischievous grin.

" W-what! I did not smile! I was smiling because I was imagining how I would shoot him with my bow! " Amber denied all accusations. It didn't work.

" Uh huh sure. You were definitely not leaning in while I was giving those head pats. " Aether said smirking.

" W–what!! No I didn't! We have to go back now! Jean will be worried if I don't turn up! " Amber ran away.

" Hehe. That's cute. " Aether thought and catched up with her. With Paimon flying with them.
