A sound rang softly in my head as digital pixel-like game particles appeared out of thin air. As the last particle manifested into reality, it melded with one another to form an uneven shape before turning into a metal door
Well after that happened, I opened the door showing a starry view and I entered through it since it was safe. I now stood in a white room seeing items that I got recently (Chapter 4).
Elio: "This will make Kiyotaka feel uncomfortable despite showing an apathetic expression all the time" he mused to me"
I understood what Elio meant but didn't respond much and just gave him a nod as he continued ranting about other stuff while I checked my surroundings. After inspecting the place, I concluded this place is useful and the skill is quite a cheat.
Vault of Values is a passive of my last default pet, Treasure Chest. This allows me to open an entrance in the form of a bank connecting to my pocket dimension in which I can open and contain or remove myself, living individuals, or other objects from the separated space. Making it quite valuable for me to have with me since I have a portable functional home in my person

Me: "I don't have a bed haah" I sighed "And I doubt it's a good idea to sleep here on the floor"
Elio: "Can you stop with the act? It's obvious you'll sleep on the floor without much of a care" he stated
Darn I was caught immediately
Me: "Sure" I blurted, "How about let's talk about the items I now have"
Now holding three silver cards, each adorned with an image of characters or something, I sighed again but slightly softer than my previous one
Nathaniel: "Oh those trial cards"
Me: "Yup" I nodded in satisfaction
What are trial cards? Well, they are items storing something special allowing individuals to tap into surmisable to unparalleled feats of strength. But as the name suggests it's an item that gives me a certain amount of time to use them in action. In my possession, I have two skill trial cards and one occupation/class trial card. So I am hoping
Me: "It'll be a shame I can't use it if it has what I think it does have." I said while checking the info on each card

The Fool's World (Trial Card)
Type: Field
When the Fool's World is in play, create a field that negates any forms of magic cast. Cannot cancel out the magic that's already been cast before this skill is played into action. The stronger the enemy's magic affinity the easier it is for them to ignore Fool's World's ability. The card's effect will activate upon saying the name mentally or orally.
Field Range: 50 meters
Effect Time Limit: 15 minutes
Usage Limit Before Destruction: 3

Black Flash (Trial Card)
Type: Enhancement
Allows the user to temporarily enhance their physical attacks, enveloping the attacking limb with black-looking energy. Cursed energy will not be needed to use black flash for the remaining duration of this card's activation. The card's effect will activate upon saying the item's name mentally or orally
Effect Time Limit: 5 minutes
Usage Limit Before Destruction: 1

Atom Eve (Trial Card)
When the card is played, the user to tap into the abilities of the heroine from Invincible for a limited duration. Abilities include flight, reconstruction of living beings, and creation of items. Cannot create items with no full understanding of its main components or living beings. The card can be used for a set amount of usage daily. The card's effect will activate upon saying the item's name mentally or orally
Effect Time Limit: 1 hour
Usage Per Day: 4

He caught me. I already activated Atom Eve's trail card so I immediately felt a surge of energy coursing through my entire body. Now I'll enact what I planned to do and that is

Making some furniture for this pocket dimension I'm at, and something to eat!!!
Me, wiggling my fingers like a maniac: "Time to work hehehe~"

Hah, he has done it. He's using an op skill as a daily convenience!!! At first, I thought he was joking but not even three seconds thinking that I paled at the realization that he was doing exactly what I would do in his situation. I honestly didn't know whether to feel proud at my variant or jealous but now I'm just watching him create items out of something.
When he began I made sure to check the time of his trial cards effect just to test things out. Three minutes before his trial cards were active, he proceeded to create a metal shelf, placing his books and other small item onto his creation. At the 13-minute mark, he created one family-sized square-shaped dining table, completed with 4 wooden chairs for each side of the table though he could've just made it smaller but whatever. Fifty-four minutes later, the pocket dimension was now separated into multiple sections each having its purposes one for dining and cooking, another section for sleeping with a nice one-person bed, and a large portion of the space to store his items.
And now, I'm just seeing him laid back on his bed and reading some reaction fics while biting down a burger he cooked himself.
He would've just been lazy by creating it when he still had Atom Eve's trail card in effect but this burger was something he and I both would like to make ourselves.
Nathaniel: "Elio!!"
It's something that a YouTuber calls a dissonance burger and I haven't even gotten tried it yet let alone made one myself. So I'm jealous he's chowing down on one right now.
Nathaniel: "Oi, Elio!!"

Elio: "Wait what happened?" "What'd you say again, Nathan?"
Nathaniel: "Geez we need to stop spacing out at random moments" He muttered
For some reason, I felt like Nathan just shot ourselves on the foot with that comment.... I hope it's not the case.
Me: "So how's your plan going? And you know exactly what I mean"
I didn't have time for my variants antics so I decided to cut him off from doing such
Nathaniel: "Well..."As he prolonged the word, I see on my screen that look of his is a nervous one.
Nathaniel: "I think I want to just stay here to stockpile some items to prepare before Furina begins to move. So for now I'll use my time to make some gear with the remainder of my Atom Eve trial card. You know create an armor out of vibranium, a sword out of admantium and other gears I'll use to help face the whale and the upcoming quests from the next updates or entities that might come by chance"
Me: "What?"
Nathaniel: "What?" He looked surprised in my POV
If Nathn is surprised, he shouldn't be the one surprised, if anyone deserves to be surprised right now, it should be me. What the hell are you thinking my guys!? Those enemies won't appear yet till the end of.... Wait... Crap nevermind, I don't know anymore so I can say only one thing
Me: "Nevermind"
It is to completely avoid facing that topic overall for now!!!
Nathaniel: "Okay?"
Now I need to make sure not to make him even more suspicious. This definitely is my worse decision yet cause he'll definitely know. I'm just gonna drink something sweet before it happens.
