34 Chapter 32: Bai Heng

With hurried movements, I took the now-unconscious Xiao as I ran towards the Guili Plains while using Presence Concealment on the both of us as this place is currently unsafe so better find a secured place before I conduct my scan.

Mingyun Village is not that far from Dragonspine and Venti might still be looking for me.

Zongli might also be around if he knew there was a monster close to the border of his region so better be safe than sorry.

While I think I am strong enough to face them head-on, I don't feel like fighting Geo Daddy.

I want Mommy Raiden to take my archon battle virginity.

With a chuckle, I continued my way towards the ruins.

As luck was on my side, after a few minutes of running around while carrying Xiao like a sack of potatoes, I found a well-hidden ruin covered with vegetation on the eastern part of Guili Plains.

Laying Xiao down on the cold hard floor, I pressed my left hand in front of his mouth as I slowly released Anemo particles inside his body.

'Sounds wrong in so many ways but meh' I said to myself before I continued what I was doing.

As I dedicated my whole attention, concentration, and about an hour of inner visualization, I was able to completely scan the Yaksha physique.

With a smile on my face, I slowly transformed my body into a copy of Xiao.

The transformation went smoothly as my body had already adapted to various forms making the transition smooth.

If one saw the two of us now we would be mistaken for twins but that is not what I had wanted.

'I don't plan to be short and edgy like Xiao.' I said to myself as I remembered someone I could base my Adepti form on.

With a few alterations here and there while using a character as a template that came from the same developers as the Genshin game, I made myself taller, about 7 feet tall, my ears pointier, altered my facial structure to match the face inside my memories, and finally, I created two flood dragon-like horns above my head.

I now look like Dan Heng in his Imbibitor Lunae form.

"Testing, testing" I muttered out loud as I slowly changed my vocal cords as I tried to mimic the voice of the Japanese VA Dan Heng.

After a few tweaks, my voice was now fine-tuned as I sounded a lot hotter than usual.

With my narcissism fueled and satisfied, I nodded my head with appreciation.

With the body done the next thing to change was the mask that came with the Yaksha transformation.

It seems the Yaksha mask was not a simple mask but a part of their body, well not really the body but it was somehow connected to their souls so breaking them would badly damage the Yaksha.

'The outcome of a Yaksha mask breaking would probably pretty ugly and I don't want to know what exactly would happen so better guard my mask well.' I said to myself as I gazed at my mask.

Now for the last step of my complete Adepti form. Using the same skills to shape my body, my mask which I was holding in my left hand slowly changed its color from green to black while the appearance became a lot more ferocious as it gave it a more powerful vibe.

'I will call myself Bai Heng while using this form, the inverted Staff of Homa would be my main weapon.' I said to myself before I returned to squat in front of Xiao as I pressed my hand on his mouth a second time.

Earlier I found a source of negative energy inside Xiao's body which I ignored as I knew it was the karma he was bearing. But now that I am done with my main objective, time to do the side quests.

With full concentration as it would be bad if I somehow messed up what I was doing, time slowly passed by.

During the experiment, Xiao almost woke up twice which made me hit his head hard a few times to make him continue sleeping. As Xiao was not an enemy, I made sure there would be no lasting damage done to him and he would only suffer headaches for a few days from the all bs I did to him.

Finally, after about three hours of poking around the negative energy, I was able to understand the concept of Karma.

I then slowly consumed the Karma Xiao was bearing as I steadily adapted to it.

After a few hours of absorption, Xiao was now free from all the Karma as the weight he was carrying was now on me. But as I already adapted towards this concept of Karma the negative energy simply fused with my Low – Abyss Element making it rank up into Medium – Abyss Element.

'Mmm, weird how the negative energy mixed with the abys element. I think it would be better if I assume that all negatively aligned energy on Teyvat has the Abyss as its core.' I said to myself as I stroked my non-existent beard.

'Still, is the karma Xiao carrying that bad for my Abyss Element to rank up once? Or is the Karma he was bearing already mixed up with erosion? If there was erosion mixed into the energy, I absorb then it would make sense for my element to rank up.' I said to myself as I contemplated in a more in-depth fashion.

It should be said that almost all my skills were at Low level even if I am using them most of the time so my Abyss Element instantly ranking up was a surprise but also confused the hell out of me.

'Anyways, this should be enough as thanks to Xiao for giving me my Yaksha transformation and ranking up my skill. He is now free from the karma that he bore and would be able to live a longer life unless he died somewhere.' I shrugged my shoulders before I left the cave containing the now perfectly healed Vigilant Yaksha.
