29 Chapter 28: Venti

(Authors note: I am alive! for now at least XD)

(Alexander POV)

Throwing Yuna's Insignia into the air, a surprisingly strong gust of wind passed through it blowing it away for quite a bit of distance.

As I walked toward the Insignia, my mind went blank as I gazed at it standing still as the pointy tip of the Fatui insignia was lodged into the snow.

'The insignia stood? Now what to do?' I said inside my mind as I retrieved Yuna's insignia storing it inside the inventory.

My gaze returned to Eula and Primordial Albedo as thoughts passed through my mind. 'I only want one thing and that is to ensure Eula's safety. The poor girl has already suffered enough. As for Albedo and the Primordial, I don't care about them. It would be more interesting if the Primordial successfully replaced Albedo. The chaos it would bring to Mondstadt would be lovely. The plot has already been ruined anyway, might as well have Traveler deal with a new and more chaotic plot.'

After a bit of a thought, I spread my senses. After eating Durin's heart my senses became sharper, I simply limited them before as having super strong senses could be quite annoying. I'll try to get used to it though, but for now, I should look for the real Albedo. (Before someone cries about MC not adapting towards strong sense and cries Nerf, I will say that is not the case. He already adapted it's just annoying to feel, hear, and see everything inside the range of his perception.)

As my senses spread for about a 100-meter radius on all sides, I found Albedo holding the Song of Broken Pines atop a tall tree about 50 meters from here with a scrunched brow looking towards Eula and the Primordial.

'Mmm, that settles it then. I would simply hit the Primordial with 80% of my strength towards Albedo. 80% of my power should be enough to make the Primordial collide with Albedo as they get thrown away toward the cold sea. If the Primordial survives then it is up to him to capitalize on killing Albedo there, if not then rip to him.' With a nod of my head, I once again transformed into a 10-foot-tall Mahoraga.

With my presence concealment on, I dashed toward the Primordial as my huge fist bigger than the Primordial's torso slammed into his belly as he flew like a comet toward Albedo. With my enhanced senses, I saw Albedo bring the Song of Broken Pines in his front and use it like a shield. The Primordial then ended up colliding with the shield but the momentum was still there making the both of them shoot towards the sea with strong momentum.

My presence concealment was then turned off after the attack allowing Eula to see me once again.

With a wide malevolent grin, I turned toward the pale-faced, badly injured weaponless girl.

Gazing at the once young and confident girl now shaking in fear because of my presence, I could only click my tongue.

'I don't remember what I did to her but it must have been brutal. I completely destroyed her confidence. I could only hope she could come out stronger after this. The feisty and confident Eula was way better than this shaking little thing.' I said inside my mind as I stood in front of her menacingly as I waited for the attack coming from a bard wearing green attire.

When I spread my sense earlier, I already saw Venti wandering around nearby most probably looking for me. The attack I did to the Primordial should have been enough for him to notice me.

It has also been about 16h hours from my first roar so the news of a monster appearing on Dragonspine should have already been spread by now and with him being the god of the winds, I won't be surprised if my roar that shook Dragonspine was able to travel using the wind reaching his ears making the Anemo Archon visit the region.

Even if he was an archon who valued freedom and did not actively help his nation, I knew he would protect his people if a monster the residents of his nation could not deal with appeared. That was also the case 500 years ago against Durin. Too bad he was a little bit late tho making Rosalie turn into the crimson witch of flames.

Varka and the knights of Favonius were also nearby. I could also hear Amber calling for Eula's name, what a nice friendship they have.

After a few seconds of waiting, I could feel the winds gathering in a certain direction.

My gaze shifted toward the gathering winds making my wing-like eyes and Venti's emerald eyes come into contact with each other.

Holding a catalyst which I assume would be the Skyward Atlas, Venti commanded the winds as a storm-like gust of wind smashed into me. (Yes, Venti is using a catalyst not his bow.)

While I could resist the gust of wind, I did not and I even subtly jumped backward intending to ride the wind so that I would be thrown toward the sea.

As the winds carried me away, I saw Venti intending to follow me but first, he gazed at Eula making sure she was safe.

Using that short distraction, I instantly re-activated my presence concealment and morphed my body reducing my height from 10 feet to 1 foot.

As Venti's gaze returned toward my direction, my body already blended with the winds making me completely disappear and making the Anemo Archon frown.

'This Presence concealment is too godly. Even the god of the winds could not differentiate between me and the wind.' I said to myself while I continued riding the wind toward the sea.

Before plunging toward the deep and cold sea, I gazed toward Eula and saw Amber hugging her tight as Varka and the knights asked her questions. I also saw Venti flying around while his gaze wandered toward different locations as he tried his best to look for me.

*Splash*

With a splash, I immediately swam toward the depths of the sea ending my first contact with the god of the winds.
