1 The nightmare

Misaki Tachibana's eyes flew open as she blankly stares at the white ceiling. She dreamt this same nightmare for the past eleven years. Though she herself couldn't count the number of times that wished this wasn't a past memory but a nightmare.

She still remembers that devastating day like today. From that day onwards going to sleep was something Misaki hated the most. Because every time she goes to sleep she dreams about that same catastrophe over and over. Every time she dreams about that tragedy only doubles the soreness of her heart.

After clearing up her mind Misaki goes to the bathroom dragging herself to take a refreshing shower. Taking a shower she felt kinda refresh though the drowsiness still there in her face.

Then she took her phone from the bedside table to see whether she received the money from the client. Seeing that she received her money for the anti-virus software that she worked for the last 8 days staying up late. So Misaki was in a pleasing state as she hummed a joyous tune.

After graduating from college Misaki spends most of her time in this luxurious condo which was given by her uncle as her 20th birthday present. Even though it only had two rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. It was satisfying enough to Misaki because she lives alone in this condo.

Misaki went inside her study room to see whether any new chapters had been updated in her favourite manga series for the past 8 days. Her study room totally had ten computer monitors each running a different process than the other. She sat in the office chair in front of the monitors as she took her tablet from the table to read some newly updated manga. Misaki mostly uses her tablet for reading manga and watching sci-fi movies, anime. She only uses her computers for programming or hacking and lastly, her 11years old analogue phone was her only connection with the outside world.

While she was reading the manga, she was drinking an expired Starbucks coffee gleefully. She stopped reading her book because she felt something wrong with her stomach after half an hour. Thinking it's due to hunger she went to the kitchen.

The kitchen was akin to a garbage bin. Empty instant noodles cups were all around the place and also the fridge was totally empty. Feeling disgusted about her own pathetic habits. Misaki started to clean the kitchen as she forgets about her stomach problem

Feeling actually hungry after Cleaning the kitchen. She dressed a plain white t-shirt and a ripped jean. As she went to a near restaurant to take her brunch. She orders her regular dish and sat on the outside part of the restaurant.

She watches the people passing by the restaurant. Seeing the energy running through their veins made Misaki somewhat jealous. Their life had different colours while her life goes to the same routine.

Though she graduated with the top scores she didn't find a job because she thought it was much easier to earn by creating programmes on her own. Yes, she earned billions by the year. Despite the fact she couldn't find the enjoyment she felt when starting this business by the end of the year.

Eating her Nutella and Bacon stuffed French toast.' I should have taken the job given by Tech- life technological centre. It wouldn't be this much boring' thought Misaki while staring at the office workers who were taking their tea break inside the restaurant while chatting and laughing.

Tech-life Technological centre emerges 10 or 9 years ago. Now it's successfully become one of the best technological centres in the world. It mostly recruits top students from the best universities around the world. It also tried to recruit Misaki several times but Misaki declined their offer. Because she didn't like to be bound to some useless rules and regulations in some company. So she rejected the offer and started creating her own programmes. As for money, it wasn't that much a problem because she can earn it by herself or She can just ask for it from her uncle or her aunt.

Anyhow, after finishing the French toast, Misaki was about to return back to the condo. Then she received a message from her cousin, Tachibana Momo, telling Misaki to come to her law firm.
