Chapter 21. First Success:

After his meeting with Kaname as Siv was returning to his room he suddenly stopped in his tracks and frowned thinking about something.

The Siv quickly asked Disenya,'Disenya last time Kaname told me she is seven years old and my age is three years. Can you please check how much time is left for the event where Miu comes to that small shop for the kitty batch.'

Disenya replied,'//So you finally figured it out Siv you are around sixteen to seventeen months younger than original Kenichi thus you only have 4 months left before Miu appears in that shop. 

I did not tell this to you sooner as you have to be aware about your situation and what and how it might effect your surroundings. 

Well done in figuring it out your self and don't worry I would have helped you if you had taken two more months well it would have costed you some system points at that time...hehehe"//. Disenya stopped speaking and giggled.

Siv did not mid the much about Disenya testing him. Siv quickly started to think and process every thing calmly as he knew remaining calm and assessing the situation and planning properly is very important. 

After sitting on the bed and planning for a while he was able to come up with some possible steps he could take. 

Siv the took a deep breath and followed his daily routine and practiced his skills before going to bed.

Next day as he woke up and got to his lawn cleaning duty after getting ready and having the usual breakfast. While he was waking he heard a notification 'Ping' sound in his head.

Siv suddenly got a quest notification. Siv quickly asked Disenya,'Show me the quest window Disenya'.

Reading through the quest details Siv was not scared at all. Siv just smiled and continued with his duty.

After some time a boy came to call him urgently telling him to gather in food mess because there are some guests. 

Siv left his work in middle and quickly went inside making sure to carry his trash picker with him. 

When Siv reached there he saw every one gathered there and the caretaker was standing in front with two cops in there uniform. There was also a male and female in casual dress. 

The female was looking around as if searching for something and when she saw Siv Her kind face bloomed with a warm smile. 

Yes the female who smiled warmly at Siv was none other that Mei and the male in casual was Gotou. 

Gotou was here to investigate the caretaker and had brought the cops along for help. When Siv saw Gotou and Mei here he also smiled at them but still did not come forward or approached them to talk. 

Mei quickly went to Siv and said,"Hello Siv it nice to see you… How are you doing?"

Seeing this the caretaker was quick to take note of Siv and understood that These people being here was some how related to Siv.

That caretaker gave Siv a scary stare which was taken note by Gotou who understood that if they were to fail in the investigation today, It will not be good for Siv who has to stay here.

Siv also understanding the meaning behind the glare from caretaker did not lose his cool and answered to Mei," Hello...Mei Oneesan…. How are you here?….I am fine..."

Gotou with out wasting time started his investigation while Mei and Siv were talking and The caretaker stood there in the front as he carefully overlooked the on going investigation while he also tried to hear the content of the talk between Mei and Siv.

After Talking for a while about normal likes and dislikes and random stuff Siv notice that Gotou was back with a frown and was thinking of some thing.

Siv quickly understood that it might be because the investigation was not going good. Siv thought and while he was talking to Mei Siv raised his voice a little so that Gotou can also hear him and Siv asked," Mei Oneesan what is that over there and he pointed at the security camera?" 

Siv asked this as if asking a random question and continued his chat with Mei and every one that saw or heard him would think that he was just asking random question like a child but to Gotou who was investigating this was like a god sent hint.

Gotou immediately indicated the other officers about the security cameras and They quickly went to the surveillance recording room. As caretaker thought that he was secured and there was no camera in his room the caretaker easily gave the keys.

But the caretaker of the orphanage did not know that at this moment there was a child who had already planned his doom.

After there investigation of the security camera's recording, Gotou and the cops quickly found the evidence they were looking for in which it was recorded all about the poor meals and living conditions of the children in the orphanage and also the caretaker brutally beating small children in his office.

They quickly moved and apprehended the caretaker who was surprised and could not understand how did they get the proof .the care taker was then taken into custody for further investigation and a new temporary caretaker was arranged.

For the first time in so long the children were given proper care and food to eat which they welcomed with smiles of there faces and tears in there eyes.

Mei and Gotou also applied for the adaptation of Siv as there son which was quickly approved after the acceptance from Siv and the temporary caretaker.

That day was given to Siv to pack his things and say goodbye to his friends. As Siv did not have any friends he just packed his belongings which were not much. 

And before going to sleep Siv happily asked,'Disenya can you now show and explain to me the reward that I got from the Urgent quest today'.

Disenya chuckled and responded,'// Siv congratulations for completing your first quest. Its was great that every thing went according to your plan. First tell me how do you feel.//

Siv smirked and said,' It all part of my plan….hahaha….i always wanted to say this line...hahaha...I feel great I was very nervous because even if Mei and Gotou had taken care of the caretaker it was still difficult to make sure that they would surly adopt me as there son...but every thing went great …. the only thing that I am still worried about is this feeling of guilt that I had to put on an act to fool and manipulate Mei and Gotou ...it is how should I put it difficult to understand'.

Disenya responded,'// Siv this is why I asked you to tell me how you are feeling because I understand you were not feeling well about some thing and your thoughts were complicated. 

So let me tell you some thing Siv, no you are not guilty of any thing because if you have not acted the way you did you would not have been able to achieve this in such a short amount of time. 

There is a difference in approaches and Siv your method was of guiding and hinting Mei and Gotou to achieve both your and there goals and happiness and it was not manipulating for any evil purpose.

This sort of subtle manipulation that guides and helps in achieving goals and happiness can be found in your day to day lives where the parents use it on their children to teach them about values and life, teachers use them on students for giving them practical knowledge and exposure, company managers and ruling government also use them on the people under them for getting better results and maintaining order. 

It is different from person to person and depends on why and for what result did you manipulate. If a bad person manipulates to achieve his greed and bad purpose then it is bad and if used for a good purpose of guidance and achieving goals and happiness then its good.

Do you understand now Siv you have done nothing wrong and have nothing to be guilty about.'//

listening to Disenya Siv nodded and felt like a weight was lifted from his shoulders and he felt light and happy.

After getting a nod from Siv and understanding that now Siv was feeling well Disenya teasingly said,'// Siv so now that you are felling well should I tell you about your reward or do you not want it. If so I can convert it into points'//.
