3 The Hokage

Three days later, Ryuu got discharged from the hospital. The first place he went was to the Hokage's office.

Meanwhile in the Hokage's office…

The Hokage held a meeting with the elders and Fugaku Uchiha.

"Hokage-sama you must make it a top priority to find the person who killed him.

Hanzo Uchiha was a great shinobi and one of the heroes of Konohagakure."

Danzo smirked.

"Is that why you all kicked him out of your precious clan?"

Fugaku gritted his teeth and his Sharingan showed.

"We both know the truth and why we had to do that so don't act like you don't." He glared at Danzo who kept a calm expression.

"So what will you do Hiruzen?"

The Hokage was smoking his pipe and thinking of what he would do.

"Fugaku-dono is right, whoever attacked Yuri-Kun and Hanzo deserves to be caught and killed Immediately."

Fugaku nodded.

"Knock knock knock." Someone was at the door.

"I'm leaving, it's not time to meet the boy yet." Fugaku disappeared.

"Come in," the third replied.

When Ryuu entered, he noticed the elders inside.

'It looks like there was a meeting.'

"Hokage sama, sorry if I interrupted something. They told me you had a meeting but Jiraiya-sama told me you were looking for me."

He shook his head.

"Ryuu No problem this is something that I will deal with at another time."

He dismissed the elders.

'There it is again, that shiver in my bones.'

Ryuu looked back and saw Danzo was glaring at him

'The old man with an x on his chin, he had some bandages covering part of his head and right eye.

He had black hair and he wore a black kimono. His hand had a sling made of bandages covering him. I saw him and I knew exactly who he was.

Danzo Shimura.'

He was the first to leave the office.

Some old geezers followed and closed the door.

"Welcome Ryuu, it's been too long since I last saw you. You were a tiny kid, your mother…" He frowned.

"She always spoke of how talented you are or how you could walk, write and talk properly at only two years old and that's why I called you here, to learn more about how your parents were killed."

He said in a low and sad tone. Ryuu looked down, as he didn't know how to answer that.

"Anyway, I wanted to ask if you could tell me anything and everything you can remember from that incident, that's if you don't mind I know if you tell me it could cause you to stress, reliving that pain again, after all, you're just a three-year-old and you still have time to grow I wouldn't want to delay or affect any part of that process," he said so as he scratched his head a little nervously.

Ryuu nodded and told him everything as he remembered, but he left out awakening his Sharingan.

"Thank you, Ryuu for this. I will try to find out who killed Yuri Kun. Is there anything else you would like to talk about?"

"Hokage sama, there's something else but..."

Seeing how Ryuu struggled, the Hokage could sense it was something important and a secret. He sent his Anbu away so that Ryuu could talk.

"I wanted to let you know I awakened my Sharingan during the attack and that's the reason I fainted and ended up in the hospital, there's something else I didn't tell you about the attack,"

Ryuu paused first before saying anything he could already tell how surprised he was about my Sharingan.

"This soon? I didn't expect you to awaken the Sharingan this soon, in fact, you're the youngest to awake the power of the Uchiha of course you would faint, you haven't learned about chakra control yet.

This is to be expected after all your father could never shut up about how much of a genius you are,"

'Hanzo you were right after all this kid is a genius beyond any.'

Hiruzen thought to himself as he smiled.

"Anyway, I don't think you have a place to stay anymore, so how about I give you one with the Uchihas.

They would certainly like to have a young prodigy like you, however, because of your father's reputation, some of them will be hostile."

Ryuu thought about it and came up with an answer.

"Hokage sama, with your permission I would like to live with sakumo sama.

He and father were close because of their rivalry.

I want to become stronger to protect the ones I love. I can't live through such pain again," tears were balancing in his eyes.

"sakumo sama is the strongest shinobi apart from you. I would like him to take me under his wing."

Hiruzen saw the determination in his eyes and smiled.

"very well, I shall ask Sakumo if he will agree. Plus, it would be best if you were around children your age and sakumo has a child around your age.

But in the meantime, I will have you stay with me. I can't let you roam around without protection after what happened. I won't let Yuri Kun's death be for nothing. After all, she would want you to live long and reach your true potential."
