14 Ninjutsu training (part 1)

Sakumo and the two reached training ground three.

"Ryuu, Kakashi, take these scrolls."

Ryuu and Kakashi did as they were told.

"We'll start with the shadow clone jutsu.

Shadow clone jutsu is a jutsu made by the 2nd Hokage Tobirama Senju, unlike the basic clone jutsu the shadow clones are physically real and not just an illusion they share the same clothing, weapons, and damage, it's nearly impossible to distinguish a shadow clone from the real person.

As far as I know, not even Dojutsu as sharp as the Byakugan or Sharingan can tell the difference.

Shadow clone jutsu divides the amount of chakra into a clone.

The more clones you create, the more chakra it takes.

For example, if you make 2 clones, the clone will get half of your chakra. It has some drawbacks.

But its benefits outweigh its negatives, especially if you know how it's done, and that's why today's going to be training you on how to do the shadow clone jutsu."

He showed and did the sign,

"Shadow clone jutsu!" a clone appeared in front of us. Ryuu and Kakashi were eager to try the jutsu.

"Can I try, father?" Kakashi asked,

"Me too. I also want to try shadow clone jutsu."

Ryuu added,

"Calm down, each of you will have a chance in trying the shadow clone jutsu, Let's start with you, Kakashi."

Kakashi nodded.

"Just do the hand sign and release some chakra." Kakashi followed the steps and did the sign and focused.

"Shadow clone jutsu" *Poof* A small cloud appeared beside him, then a clone appeared.

"Woah I finally did ninjutsu"

It shocked Sakumo as he didn't expect Kakashi to nail the jutsu on his first try.

"Well done Kakashi, now Ryuu, it's your turn."

Ryuu nodded and stood up excitedly.

Ryuu did the hand signs and infused some of his chakra. *Poof* Sakumo was stunned and so was Kakashi because not only was Ryuu able to do it perfectly, but he created six Shadow Clones.

Ryuu, I didn't expect to see this, but I had a feeling you held back during the ceremony, but why? Sakumo thought to himself.'

"Woah, I made this many clones?" Ryuu shocked himself for the first time in a while.

"Ryuu, you're amazing."

He impressed Kakashi,

"Honestly, I'm shocked too. I didn't expect to make this many clones without trying."

He said while scratching his head and smiling.

"Ryuu, come with me, Kakashi, run 1000 laps around the training ground. If you want to increase your chakra reserves, you need to first improve your endurance and stamina."

Sakumo Said as he pulled Ryuu to the side.

"What is it, father? Did I do something wrong?"

Ryuu asked Sakumo.

"Why did you hold back yesterday?" Ryuu's eyes widened in surprise. 'I didn't expect him to figure it out so quickly. Have I been too obvious?'

He asked himself.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Ryuu just right now you could do 6 perfect shadow clones, a normal child cannot do that unless they have great chakra reserves, not only that but you also did it on your first try I didn't tell you guys this but shadow clone jutsu is a B rank Jutsu at your age your the best normal kids Could do is a failed basic clone jutsu, so I ask again why did you hold back?!"

'Father said that last part with some intimidation, and it sent chills down my back and I had no choice but to confess.'

"I'm sorry father, it's just that I can only trust Kakashi and you, yesterday many people were watching, but you were the only one who was against my parents being Outcasts in the village, that's why I didn't want to show the full extent of my power."

When Ryuu finished speaking, Sakumo looked frustrated and yet concerned.

"Ryuu, all you know is one part of the story, but the other was a secret that was kept between some of us."

Ryuu's eyes widened, as he wanted to know more.

"What secret?" Ryuu asked.

"Ryuu, I don't know if I should tell you but, during the time your father was getting outlasted by the Uchiha and the village, there was one Uchiha who didn't support that movement.

That person was Fugaku Uchiha, At that point, Fugaku was not the clan leader of the Uchiha so even if he disagreed with the leader he didn't have enough political power to stand a chance of going against the decision made by the clan heads, so he asked me to go to the Hokage and ask if he could do something about it.

However, we became dissatisfied to hear that he couldn't do anything about it, Ryuu, you must remember he is the Hokage, but even he can never interfere with clan matters.

He told me that the Ino-Shika-Cho couldn't do anything as well because that would only lead to clan conflicts and would hurt and destroy the peace within the village.

When I told Fugaku he was furious, but he couldn't do anything about it, after the village made Hanzo an Outcast they still considered him a Konoha shinobi after all Konoha couldn't let go of one of its great shinobi during times those times.

We were told to keep all Of that a secret that only Fugaku, Hokage-sama, and the Ino-Shika-Cho would know we fought together before he left the battlefield and went to his family and that was the last time I saw him."

Ryuu looked down and frowned, as he was still trying to find out why all of this was hidden from him.

"Why... why would you hide all this from me?!"

Ryuu was furious because he could not understand the reason behind them keeping a secret about him and his family for so long.

Sakumo looked at him in shame and regret.

"Ryuu, I'm sorry, not once did I consider how you would feel after learning about the truth behind your father's treatment." Ryuu just left and said.

"Let's just get back to training. It must bore Kakashi to wait for us."

They went back to training and Sakumo taught them two other ninjutsu substitution and transformation Jutsus.

After a while, it got dark, and they had to go back home.

The trip back home was silent and awkward. No one was talking, and the trust built between Ryuu and Sakumo was damaged.

When they reached home, neither of them said anything to each other.

Kakashi noticed this, but he couldn't do anything to help them.
