36 Frostguard Armour

At least dozens of transcendent weapons were lying around like they were nothing. Old Man Aragon did not seem to care much about these weapons, which means they are not his best works.

Apollo was feeling a little overwhelmed, as just a week before, his grandpa said how rare transcendent weapons are, but now dozens of such rare weapons were lying around like trash.

"Sigh, the difference here is too large."

But after this, he quickly started to look and inspect every weapon, even if it was not a sword. It was such a rare occasion where he could see and touch many transcendent items.

He looked at different armours covered in various energies, some shining brightly with gold light while others were in red hot flames. But these armours are not the ones that catch his most attention; instead, what caught his eye was plain-looking silver armour.

Although the armour looked simple and didn't emit a powerful aura, he felt interested in it, like he had some sort of connection with it.

Old man Aragon noticed eyes of Apollo on the silver armour and felt surprised as between many good things, he noticed this one.

He knew this armour was peculiar as it wasn't made by him, but he just fixed some runes and repaired most of the damage he could. But because this armour was made from ancient skills that have disappeared for thousands of years, even one of the best blacksmiths couldn't fully repair it and bring out its full potential.

Apollo moved and came close to the silver armour, instinctively touching it.

But the moment he touched the silver armour, something ancient and powerful hidden in that armour seemed to have awakened and resonated with the 'Soul Freezing Bow' he found in the ruins.

And like a soul-freezing bow, the silver armour also produced a mysterious but horrifying cold that almost made the whole room freeze. Even those transcendent weapons and extraordinary energies cannot seem to stop the ice energy.

But just as the old man was going to make a move at that time, the furnace with chilling cold energy seemed to have provoked it, and immediately, all the cold energy in the room seemed to be swallowed by it.

"Calm down; calm down; it's not challenging your sovereignty." And instantly, the furnace that seemed to swallow all energy stopped.

He instantly looked at Apollo, who was covered in ice and seemed to have frozen, but old man Aragon could feel a powerful life force from it. Apollo doesn't seem to be getting weaker; instead, his life force is increasing rapidly.

"This brat's luck is good. Even though I didn't activate the armour, this brat touch did the trick."

"Damm! But why does this kid have to be this bastard Aaron's apprentice?" He was mad at Aaron's luck, as he had found such a talented apprentice.

And where, as he was already more than a hundred years old, he didn't find anyone who could carry an ounce of his inheritance?

Apollo didn't notice any of this, as he was concentrating on absorbing the large amount of ice-cold energy, that the armour just transmitted to him.

It was many times more the time he made contact with 'Soul Freezing Bow' as he had merely opened four prana circuits, but now, he had already opened ten prana circuits, but still, he felt a little overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of ice energy.

The ice energy continued to fill him, and under this condition, Apollo seemed to reach a peculiar trance where his mind and the ice energy seemed to have fused so that even when he had closed his eyes and shut down his most senses, he could still feel and see even better than he had ever, even with his open eyes.

His energy continued to flow within his body, making him stronger and stronger, but after a few seconds, he seemed to come close to some sort of barrier, but no matter how he tried to break it, he was pushed back.

"Aaahh!

His aura burst to extremes, and the temperature in the room increased so exponentially that even the furnace could not stop the cold energy.

And in The Old Man, Aragon made a move and lightly took a step that seemed heavier than a mountain.

Boom!

Szzzzz!

The shop and a few more places closer to him jolted with shock.

"What the hell is this old man doing with my apprentice?" Master Aaron felt confused as he felt the tremor.

Inside the room, this single step stopped the ice energy from moving forward, and Apollo reached the critical step.

Baam! Baam! Crack!

He collided with the barrier again and again, but as he just felt, he felt he was going to break through. The energy feedback from the silver armour has stopped, leaving him just one step behind and breaking him from his trance state.

Apollo slowly opened his eyes, feeling a bit sad as he was this close to a breakthrough.

Old man Aragon noticed the reluctance on his face and said.

"Kid, it's not bad you stopped; you were going to break the first limit of your body and soul; it shouldn't be done hastily."

"Come on, kid, all of this you can ask your bastard master. So, just tell me what kind of weapon you want."

But instead of answering, he looked at the silver armour and then at Old Man Aragon.

Old man immediately understood and said," Yeah, yeah, this silver armour is yours, as it seems to have a connection with it."

Apollo quickly picked up the silver armour, giving the old man any chance, and put it on immediately.

"Let's give you a name."

Apollo thought and came up with a name since he found it in the city of 'Frostheld'.

"Then, from now on, it will be called 'Frostguard Armour'."
