37 Apollo's Choice

"Frostguard Armour. Not a bad name."

Old man Aragon said it lightly, as he felt it was an appropriate name for this armour.

"Okay, kid, now you already got something good from me. Let's talk about your sword and what you want for it."

"Would you like it to be this sharp, like this Golden Cutter sword, or would you want it to be heavy and sturdy, like the Earth Splitter?"

Old Man Aragon started to show him various swords with different and unique strong points and abilities. Apollo carefully listened and pondered as the old man introduced him and told him about many different abilities and their advantages.

After hearing many explanations, he got a general idea about all those swords. And he already thought of what kind of sword he wanted.

"Sir, I want a long sword that can adjust its weight and size."

He told the old man about his preference after thinking about his transformation into a half-demon god. After transformation, his size and power increase drastically, so if he had a sword that could change his weight and size, it would make him unstoppable.

"Can it be done?" Apollo asked as he didn't know if this was possible.

"Oh, a sword that can change his weight and size. Interesting choice."

Old man felt the choice was different from what he expected, and after hearing it, he felt a bit troubled.

"Kid, a sword that can increase weight can be made with some runic adjustment, but giving it the ability to change its size is a bit difficult."

"Brat, you know how to ask. But before that, do you know about the different ranks of weapons?"

"Yes, they are Ordinary, Transcendent and Divine grade." Apollo quickly answered as his grandpa told him.

"So, kid, do you know what the most common ability of all divine weapons is ?"

"Ahh!" He didn't understand why Old Man Aragon would ask him such a question, but after a moment of thought, he understood, feeling a bit surprised.

"Yes, it's what you want your sword to possess. Every divine weapon can change its size according to its master; it can be the size of a normal sword, or it can turn into a thirty-foot-long sword."

"Maybe because gods in old times used to be of different sizes, they can be as big as mountains or as small as humans. So, their weapons must needed this ability; it can be called the trade mark ability of divine weapons."

"This..."

Apollo was also surprised after hearing that every divine can change size, as he understood because, after transformation, his size also changes into a ten-foot-tall guy.

Although he cannot become big like a mountain, he guesses real gods should be able to do it.

But now, this is a problem: if he cannot change the size of his sword, then after transformation, he can battle only with his bare fists.

Old man was also thinking about the problem of what to do; although he is an expert blacksmith, he cannot make divine weapons. Finding a divine blacksmith who can refine divine-rank weapons is more difficult than finding a real god.

"That might do it!"

Old man Aragon remembered something and felt that this could be done.

"Okay, don't feel bad. Although I cannot create divine weapons, there is something else that can be done. Which will give your sword similar ability, but it needs a rare metal and your master's help."

"Come on, let's go. I have to talk about your sword with your master."

Hearing this, his eyes glowed brightly, as if it were still possible, even if it was difficult but possible.

Apollo followed Old Man Aragon and came out of the secret room. Outside, Master Aaron was waiting for him.

"So, did you make up your mind about what kind of sword you want?" Master Aaron asked after seeing his apprentice come out.

"You apprentice asked for something troublesome, and for that, you have to pay something."

Old Man Argon answered the question before Apollo could say anything.

"Oh, it looks like you're going to take advantage of this situation."

"Then, tell me what you want, but don't overdo it."

"Hehe, you said it later. Don't cry like a kid, Mr. Strongest Sword Master."

"Yeah, yeah, tell me."

"I want the piece of divine thunder iron."

"F**k off!"

"You really went for it directly, you old dwarve."

"Don't be a baby; your apprentice wants a size-changing sword, and to achieve that, I have to use one of my treasures."

"So, it's fair to ask something like that from you."

"Don't try to fool me; you have eyed that piece of Divine Thunder Iron for years, and now you are just trying to take advantage, you sneaky blacksmith."

"So what? You are the shameless one here, asking for my help every time you needed it but didn't pay it back. Just like before when we went deep into that place."

"You are still sour about that; come on, it's not my fault the ladies like me. It's not like I look like a dwarve."

"F**k you, bastard, I'm going to kill you."

But as such, Apollo coughed, interrupting those two old tsunderes from fighting with each other.

Feeling a little ashamed, Master Aaron took out a pouch from his space ring and threw it towards him.

"It has some money, and with that, you can look around the city. While I have a heart-to-heart talk with this dwarve."

"Why do I want to talk heart-to-heart with you, infertile ass?"

"Dwarve, don't tell shit things; I am only in my eighties, and my D**k can still ravage countless horny milfs."

Apollo quickly ran away and left the old shop as the situation seemed to get rowdier.

After coming to a corner, he checked what was in the pouch given by the master. As he opened, he saw a hundred or more small ice-blue shards.
