Then, he went out of his room and looked towards the empty ground floor. Faintly, the clanging and thumping sound had begun to be heard. The construction crew had begun their work for the day since they came after dawn.
The ground floor was illuminated by the faint light on the wall and the flickering images on the glass, the display monitor. On the hologram projection, a 3D view of the reception hall was silently showcased, the default screensaver he chose.
On the ceiling, the crystal stair chandelier had been tweaked to match the ambiance of the hall, creating a harmonious mood.
The semi-ellipse spaces, neatly arranged with sofas, partitioned by translucent glass dividers, were ready to welcome guests. The shiny, glistening new counter without stains was still wrapped inside the vinyl wraps.
Every part of the reception hall was impeccably arranged and cleaned.
As he went down the stairs, he looked towards the cafe area on the side hall. It no longer had the image of a restaurant but was replaced with a comfy and leisurely dining/banquet hall. Each seating area was separated by elegant yet simple shelves and racks, adorned with books, plants, and various decorations.
In a corner, a black piano made with a wood material similar to maple. Ceid may not be familiar with piano or the materials from this planet, but he sure knew it was an impressive piano. Disregarding its brand and maker which Ceid chose the most expensive from the most popular brand, the design and build itself was delicate and grand.
On the other side, looking over the counter, the kitchen area was polished and cleaned, while various utensils were replaced with new ones. Various modern equipment was installed such as the food processor, mixer/grinder, buns maker, oven, fryer, and so on. From the kitchen, a door to the store room and the refrigerator room was easily accessible.
Beside the counter, two chillers were set up, filled with various beverages. It seemed Borris was thoughtful enough to stock it with assortments of drinks. There's also the display fridge which could place the dessert which was not part of the list he originally gave Luxell.
It seems that they have thought through for me, given the budget I gave them.
Ceid nodded in satisfaction.
He then came to the center of the reception hall. In the center, the hologram image was floating above a small stage. The stage was carefully obscured by arranging sofas surrounding it, separated by decorations and props.
This way, the stage would not appear intrusive, and visitors could only watch the hologram showcase from a distance without interfering with the view.
Ceid entered an enclosed path leading to the stage.
For this stage, Ceid had plans for it. It could be a stage to host auctions if he wanted to, or hold a simple performance if needed.
As he reached the stage, he looked at the prompt in his mind once again.

This was especially true for the G4 Defense Bracelet, known for bolstering the wearer's defense. It could withstand damages as formidable as G4-level assaults.
In the past, Ceid had entertained the idea of acquiring similar equipment upon his ascending to Venerable rank.
However, when his master's thoughtful gesture of presenting a storage space, a Spirit Crystal infused with a world fragment, he immediately put aside his plan.
Instead of owning a defense bracelet, which was not a priority for him considering his cultivation level, the idea of owning a space like those protagonists in novels intrigued him more.

After contemplating for a moment, Ceid accessed a concealed passage beneath the stage, revealing a vault box hidden within. This box is ingeniously integrated with the network server and hologram system circuitry, effectively disguising its true nature to resemble a standard hologram server box.
Inside the vault, it was empty as Ceid had intentionally left it behind so that he could use it to store the crystal.
Ceid carefully placed the crystal into the vault, ensuring it was secure. Then, without taking back his hand, he proceeded to follow the given instructions.
He infused his True Qi into the equipment as instructed, seeking to establish a connection. Given its purpose to recognize its owner/lord, Ceid anticipated that the G4 equipment would possess a spiritual essence discernible enough for him to establish a link.
Sure enough, after a few moments, he sensed a faint pulse emanating from the crystal. Using this as the breakthrough, Ceid immediately established a spiritual connection between himself and the Commerce Domain Crystal.
Then, through his mental consciousness, he said, "Activate".
