Already Indulging Wang Fei

The Xiang Kingdom was extremely prosperous, they had one of the fiercest warriors in the history of this world, They were similar to the Sparta of ancient times while Liu Ji lian's original kingdom was like Athene, they prided themselves in their intelligence and battle strategies as well as their advances in basic mathematics and medicine, it was a shame Liu Lian had little interest in such things as she was more advanced as their most intellectually developed scholar.

They rode through the city gates and she peered out of the curtains in the carriage to see the capital, soldiers lined themselves along the long road to the Manor, they were all impressive figures standing tall and unmovable, even she would feel intimidated when going to war with a country with soldiers like that. She looked back towards her fiance who sat with his back to the carriage walls with is eyes closed and his hands crossed. His snowy white hair gracefully tied up in a pony tail, after staring for a while she couldn't help but realize her beauty might be at stake when standing next to such a gorgeous husband, would she have to feel this kind of insecurity for the rest of her life?

"Wang ye" his eyes fluttered open and his purple orbs stared straight at her plain black ones, he was truly an exotic beauty while she was a plain girl in comparison, should she dye her hair white too? "What defines strength in the Xiang kingdom?" He sat in silence as if he was thinking, after a while his lips curved.

"Why does Wifey want to know? Could it be you plan on having a higher status than this prince?" Her smile broadened not willing to lose to his shamelessness.

"Of course not, i'm just afraid that there will be lots of butterflies that will be attracted to my flower ignoring the fact there there is already a superior butterfly there!" Her teasing smile had sent chill down his back and he couldn't help but applaud her eloquence.

"Don't worry, this prince will only interact with the superior butterfly ignoring the other inferior flies. So you don't have to worry just let this prince protect and shield you!"

Wange ye what kind of joke is this? It was a very tantalizing offer though, do nothing and shamelessly hide behind his back. she would have done that she she wasn't in the mood to find some side characters to face slap, her hand was itching as she hadn't done nay face slapping in a long time.

"But wange ye..." she whined throwing herself in his arms and snuggling up to him. "What fun is that?" Mu Chen blinked, his mind seemed to have gone blank, what fun was that?

He let out a hearty laugh, "Ok! as long as you like it you can have anything you want!"

"Yes!" he exclaimed running out of his arms leaving Mu Chen to feel like he had been taken advantage of too easily, he didn't mind her taking advantage of him but the reward was didn't last for long enough. "Wang ye is really amazing! Thank you! But Wang ye you still haven't told me... ah!"

He had unexpectedly held on to her waist and pulled her to him, her head was on his chest and she could hear his loud thumping heart, she could tell he was nervous, "Let's stay like this for a little longer.." his sudden request had surprised her, she didn't expect him to be so likable, her hands wrapped themselves around him and buried her head deeper into his chest, if she lived like this for the rest of her life it shouldn't be so bad...

The guards outside who had heard everything including her sudden squeal they blushed slightly, Wang ye was already indulging Wang fei this much then how would it be when they are actually married?

The carriage had arrived in front of the Manor, a few guards from the imperial palace stood at attention waiting diligently for the second prince, when the carriage stopped Xian Bo respectfully knocked and stood aside. A few servants ran out kneeling on all fours in front of the carriage as the door opened, Wang ye cam out first using their backs as steps before Liu Lian held his hand and come out, she was wearing a veil as a tool to crate a sense of mystery and a huge bait.

The person who would start a rumor that she was ugly and so she didn't want to show her face would have a huge slap when she showed her face, she felt excited just thinking about it. Her love for drama was really second to none!

"Greeting Wang ye!" The imperial guards yelled before bowing 90 degrees, even if his birth and appearance brought up a lot of superstitious questions Feng Mu Chen was still respected as a great general and a capable ruler, it was unfortunate that he was not the future Emperor, really a loss. "The King has sent an invitation to a banquet in your honor to celebrate your journey in search of a spouse!"

Feng Mu Chen bowed, "thanking the head guard!" Liu Lian bowed too once she realized he was an important figure, her knowledge on etiquette was not as good as she'd like but if this was the kind of country Mu Chen had said it was then it shouldn't matter as much... hopefully. Better to be safe than sorry, once they settled down she would request a tutor to teach her on such things.

The imperial guard nodded mounting his horse and leaving revealing a beautiful sedan waiting to take them both to their respected courtyards. Mu Chen turned to Liu Lian with an apologetic smile on his face, "I have to go now, entertain yourself while i am gone and become familiar with the staff and the structure of the fu."

He took her hand in his and faced her, " In this house your word is final, you are the mistress, everything i own belongs to you." She really made a good choice saving him and not leaving him to die! If she hand't saved him who knows how much she would miss such a chance to become a phoenix!? The karma she built up in her past life definitely paid off!
