1 Meeting Genesis - [ Chapter - 1 ]

There was a person named Xiu, he lived in a world where gates exist but to fight off the monsters inside the people who were born in this world were hybrids or born with genes of other animals.

The animal could be a real animal like dogs or cats, they could be extinct animals like dinosaurs or woolly mammoth or they could be like the monsters from the gates like goblins or dragons.

Whenever a person turns 15 year-old they would awaken their second gene that would grant them power and the day that Xiu turned 15 he had the same light as an awakening but when tested he was just a full gene human.

And from that day on he was treated like trash because no one in recorded history was a full gene human, and so no one talked to him except for his parents and one person, his only friend, Se-hun.

But in comparison to his friend that awakened the dragon-kin gene, he was treated even more as trash since people taught that he would just be a liability towards Se-hun even Xiu himself knew that.

From the day he awakened nothing he started to train in everything and anything he could to become stronger like taekwondo, boxing, martial arts and anything you could imagine.

He lived his life like trash however only a few kids his age could ever defeat him which made him be kind of respected in strength but those who could defeat him continued to treat him like complete trash.

But one day when Se-hun came over a monster outbreak happened and since Se-hun had the strength of a monster lvl 1, he went to fight the monsters that came out the dungeon no one was worried because of his incredibly strong gene.

But minutes after he was thrown back into the apartment that Xiu and his parents were living in, everyone was now worried because no one in that apartment was stronger than Se-hun.

Then only in just a few seconds after Se-hun was thrown into a building three ogres appeared, in a fit of rage Xiu tried to fight them because they hurt his one and only friend that treated him with respect.

With his strength and knowledge he was able to deal some damage against them and that was already remarkable enough but he ended up failing and being thrown back into his apartment.

The three ogres were finishing off attacking his parents and Se-hun, he screamed trying to tell them to stop, he wanted strength the most at that moment, he worked harder than anyone else to gain strength to even defeat those with genes.

But all of that was for nothing, as his first tear dropped a system like notification appeared before him, he was already dying he couldn't see what it was but when he opened his eyes once more he was in a different place.

[Ding! The host has awakened the "Genetic System"!]

He was confused, he thought he died but before he could process what was happening before him, he started worrying about his parents and Se-hun and was panicking because he thought they died already.

[Don't worry host you've been brought into the system sub-space, you can still save them!]

He started to calm down and tried to figure out what was going on, and after a while of talking the voice that he kept hearing, he found out that he awakened a system called the Genetic System.

And he could awaken any gene he would ever want with gene points and if he ever killed any animal he would gain special points towards that animal and he could use those points to awaken that specific animal.

[Host, I have yet to be named, please think of a name for me.]

So Xiu was in deep thought thinking of a good name for him and he said, "Your name will be Genesis", the voice was extremely happy about the name that Xiu gave him and then there was a notification of the system.

[Ding! The system assistant is happy about the name you gave it! You've been awarded with 1x "Common Gene Box" and 250 Gene points!]

Xiu asked Genesis what he could do with the awards he got from the system.

[The host can get the gene box from his inventory, to open your inventory just think you want to open your inventory and with the amount of gene points you have you can only learn skills and you can't awaken any genes at the moment.]

And Xiu did so and then suddenly an orange panel appeared and he saw he could put out the box, and so he pulled it out and tried to open it and then a bright light flash and he received another notification.

[Ding! You've awakened the Bear Gene!]

Xiu asked Genesis how he could gain skills from his gene and after he asked that another panel opened up and it look like an online store and it had all the skills that the Bear Gene could learn.

And so Xiu started deciding what skills would get and he got a few and after a while he saw that he could awaken the bear gene's mystic skill with 50 Gene points and so he did.

[Ding! The Bear Gene's Mystic skill has awakened!]

He asked Genesis if he could see his panel of his skills and his skill were ranked into four different ranks of proficiency, Basic, Intermediate, Mastered, Transcended.

He was also able to upgrade twoof the skills to intermediate and so he chose the attack and mystic skill and after that he had a few points to spare after all of that.

The skills he got were, "Bear's Razor Claw", "Grizzly's Hide", "Grizzle Dash" and the mystic skill, "Grizzly Frenzy".

And after that Xiu asked Genesis how he could leave the system sub-space.

[To leave the sub-space the Host can just think of leaving and a portal would appear and the host may leave.]

And after hearing that Xiu followed what Genesis said and a portal appeared and he went through the portal to go save Se-hun and his parents.

[Ding! Leaving the system sub-space...]
