68 CHAPTER 65 THE MATCH

"I think that it is best for student Cleo to join the Red Moon establishment; his talent in that area is too good to be wasted in your little establishment," states the succubus teacher.

"Hahaha! That is quite funny. He has multiple talents; he can cook comparable to those of the super chefs, but he still decided to join my establishment. His talent is overflowing, and I think it is better for him to pursue his passion rather than force him to work in a different field." Yesha answers with confidence.

Blake, Carefree, and Marionette nod their heads in agreement. They know that their friend seems to have an endless plethora of skills, yet he continues to work as a masseur; they think that this must truly be his passion.

Even Diamond agrees to this; she knows just how talented Cleo is, and the fact that he comes from a prestigious family means that he does not need to actually take any missions other than the required end-of-month missions; he has the support of a Second Realm family.

"That may be so, but I can give him something that you cannot." Lilith confidently states, seeing her expression. Yesha is ticked off, and she grits her teeth and looks at Cleo, misunderstanding something.

She snorts and decides to use one of her trump cards.

"Those from my sect are also capable in that area, as are the people of your race!"

Lilith was stunned. She then starts laughing as she looks at her like some kind of fool, but the teacher frowns as she knows what Yesha has said is not a lie.

"Hahaha! I cannot believe that you would actually go there. What I am talking about is the item that his friend requires to grow stronger; unless he can obtain a steady supply of my items, this friend of his will return to his previous wasteful ways." She turns to Aranold with disdain in her eyes.

Cleo elbows his friend's side and whispers.

"You hear that; she is talking about you."

Knowing that his friend was teasing him, Aranold grumbles to himself. With that strange machine giving them certain amounts of yin stones, they no longer need Lilith; unfortunately for them, they cannot let anyone find this information.

"That is okay, lady Lilith; my bloodline was only reacting like this because of my genetic enhancement; once I fill enough advanced enhancement, my problem will go away." Even though he knows that he will make an enemy of an Ace, he still resolutely says this.

He does not want to be the reason why his best friend is being blackmailed; he cannot look at his friend the same way if this truly happened; the guilt will eat him up, causing him to be unable to obtain psychic energy.

As expected, Lilith frowns and glares at him with her aura rising. Yesha quickly reacts, and she smiles as she disperses the rising aura and growing pressure.

"It seems that everyone is a bit tense; why don't we just sit down and have a peaceful conversation?" Suddenly, another person joins their table; it was none other than Pure. After receiving the message from Diamond that his dear friend is in trouble, he quickly went to the cafeteria.

Cleo was touched. He did not expect that his dear friend would actually join this battle just for him; he knows that he is not worth it for the golden monks.

"Hmph! What are you doing here, Pure? This conversation is not related to you." Lilith frowns as she quickly becomes defensive. The succubus might be strong, but the number of successors that they have is also great, and the competition is extremely intense.

Unlike her position, Pure's position is very stable; in fact, in terms of status, she is inferior to him, and in terms of strength, she is also weaker than him.

The succubus teacher frowns. She knows that Cleo is not worth it for their clan to contend against the golden monks, but she also knows the curse of their clan; their branch has already sacrificed too much for Lilith to fall behind.

She bits her lips as she starts to think of an idea to get Cleo to become Lilith's partner. She had expected that this task would be too easy, but it seems that she had underestimated the value of their target in the eyes and hearts of other powers.

Cleo laughs in an awkward manner after finishing his meal. He quickly stands up and starts stepping away, explaining as he tries to run away.

"Wow, look at that. Our exhibition match is getting closer. I think that we should hurry up; after all, this is an important event for us lower ranks."

Aranold quickly jumps out of his seat and starts running away at full speed. In front of him was Cleo, using [Dragon Flight] to aid his escape. The others are unable to stop them because the exhibition match between their rooms is truly ticking closer.

"Right! I forgot about our exhibition match!" Blake also realised this and quickly swallowed his food and started running. After the two, Carefree and Marionette looked at each other and sighed inwardly. They were anticipating what would happen next after Pure entered the fray.

Pure shakes his head and smiles helplessly. He knows why Cleo did that; he does not want him to get involved. Diamond also noticed this and chuckled. She wants to be good friends with their group after experiencing the journey they had on the Nightmare Valley.

"I suggest that we should watch the matches; I am quite curious about the capabilities of this student that you guys are so interested in." The succubus teacher speaks.

Diamond and Pure shake their heads, the former states.

"There is nothing to watch; even though their room only has three fighters, only those two are needed to clinch their victory."

Pure agrees with this; the two decided to return to their abode; in fact, Diamond only went to this place because she wanted to wish them good luck, even if she already expected them to win.
