Chapter 15- Huh! A cool-down or update

Those bees made quick work of vulnerable Arc and he died in that state on the ground while getting devoured by bees. They killed Arc so fast that even their poison didn't have enough time to work.

[ Ding! you have died. ]

[ Simulation has ended. ]

Arc was now panting and breathing heavily in that white space. His face drained of all the colour like he had been sucked dry of his strength. But, it's questionable here that talked about strength was bodily or mental,

He felt exhausted.

[ Simulation has concluded. ]

[ Rewards are being calculated. ]

[ Rewards of simulation-

1. Air step martial technique.

2. Poison hair needle technique.

3. 32 Martial Arts fragments. ]

[ Collect ]

[ Scanning the Usery physique level…]

[ Scanning completed…]

[ User's physique is not up to the level to learn this martial arts, Knowledge of martial arts is locked inside simulation saved resources until the user becomes strong enough. ]

[ Checking for other Rewards… ]

[An achievement Card being completed is detected. ]

[ Achievement Description- Cold-blooded Kin eater- When the user activates this achievement before doing a simulation. It will have the possibility to make a native monster of simulation be strong species. It is species, not rank of selected native monster. ]

[ Achievement Card uses- 3 Only ( After which Achievement card would be discarded. ]

[ Notice- Simulation consumes the mental energy of the user to maintain the simulation. The longer the simulation, the more energy would it consume. Energy kills people and special energy is just needed to activate the simulation. ]

[ Announcement- Simulation is going through the upgrade to better suit the new feature that was unlocked along with achievement. During the Update, no simulation can be made. ]

[ Estimated Update time- 3 Months. ]

Arc who after some time held himself together through that exhaustion was now finally looking toward the status panel which was filled with many small pop-ups indicating the number of newly arrived notifications.

He was satisfied by the rewards but after reading other notifications, he came to know that those things were being locked due to him being less strong than required to practice those martial arts.

Before he could read the other information in those left notifications, Arc felt overwhelmed by the exhaustion and started fainting in that white space itself.

"Collect," Arc muttered before finally giving in to himself and fainting.

As he muttered that specific words. White space around him disappeared and he was in the room while in an unconscious state.

He looks like a lazy cat who is forcefully trained and now can't train anymore.

On the outside of the shelter, someone was informing a person about something while saying, "Sir, our assassin has not returned till now and our target has returned to the shelter. Could it be he is more strong than what he let on?"

The master of this person whose face was hidden in the dark stomped his foot on the ground stopping the person in mid-talking and said, "You fool think it's that easy to become strong here. It is not easy and even more difficult for Sc*m when he can not even cooperate with others. And he just came here on this planet for a dozen days at best. He can't be that strong, just keep looking for any traces of the assassin we sent and update on any kind of information you come to know about."

After two whole days and some extra time of being unconscious, Arc finally woke up with a lot of head pain. His head was not allowing him to focus on anything so quickly. His waking up just now made his sight a little hazy. 

Two days was a long time considering staying without food or taking any kind of waste out of his body.

Now he was in dire need of eating and taking sh*t somewhere. 

He ran outside of his room toward the forest without even considering what might other people think.

"Wait isn't that the person who attacked while I was transforming back that day? I have to follow him and give him a taste of his own medicine. Who does this freak bastard think he is?" A girl from that day saw Arc while muttering to herself.

"Avantika, do you have something in your mind? Because you are not paying any mind to the present discussion right now." Lisa who is standing next to Avantika finds it odd for her to be acting like this, which was a first for her.

"No, it's just that I remembered something that I have to take care of. You can all carry on your discussion and I will join you myself very soon." Avantika said.

"Okay, I mean if that's what you want. Now, I will take the Aim killer gang to hunt some usual monsters after the discussion is over." Lisa said.

Hearing the assuring words from Lisa, Avantika was relieved from some worries that she started to have. Remembering about the Arc, Avantika took off at a very fast speed which was now enhanced with the transformation of that same Cat transformation monster soul.

Arc on the other hand was going to a usual hunting spot of those agile sparrow monsters but for some reason, those sparrows were not approaching him anymore.

"Damn it, that was the easy and high-calorie food but I can't hunt them if they don't attack me because of their flight ability." Arc could not help but scream out these words out of utter frustration. 

Then remembering something, he quickly his path to another direction where other monsters were thought to be found which he heard from the people in the shelter.

He was walking toward the lake which was a little far from the shelter but not that far. Arc wasn't being careless at all because he just recently experienced a big trauma because of those bee monsters in the simulation. he was now holding that monster soul spear he had while constantly looking out for any surprise attack from monsters because no one can be enough conscious of these monsters.
