Chapter 14- Cannibal Bat

Getting a little hang of himself being a bat now, Arc was experiencing some out-of-world feelings because it was a dream for humans to always fly without the help of technology in ancient times.

And when this came true for Arc, it became an otherworldly experience for him which gave him so much adrenaline rush that motivated him to keep trying to do so and gain more control and adapt to his body.

He knew that this was not quite good for humans to survive or might be really hardships to survive in. So, he wasn't much worried about getting hunted by them and hard snowing may also make normal monsters go into hibernation which meant he could hunt them in their sleep much easier if he remained careful and worked with some plans.

If he goes by the most simplistic approach then these large bats hanging on trees are the best choice to hunt for now. And he did exactly that.

He flew to that bat which which massive and seemed to have come straight from those scary movies because there were some patterns on their skin in red and their body of bad colour made them look like horror things.

"I think, I should just go and kill those bats who are my size because that must be easier than those which have huge size. I am just a mortal rank beast in this simulation so there is not much advantage for me in my strength this time." I said in mind my mind.

Thinking of me eating the bat made me feel like vomiting my guts out. Thinking of the virus and pandemic that was caused by old people which spread many years ago due to bats called 'COVID-19' makes me feel the shivers in fear.

But holding his thoughts which ran like wild horses, he was now moved towards the smallest-sized bat there and bit into its neck.

When he did a bit, he felt a wave of vitality coming into his body. Maybe it's because the bat he is now was in hibernation for a long time leading to less energy in the body.

His body was filling in with energy as he bit more and more on the bat.

After the first bite, I had to quickly kill this bat unless he screamed and woke other bats from hibernation which would announce an absolute death for me as a bat.

Before the first bat got awake and tried to scream, it was already dead. With its death, it has appeared the notification in the status panel.

[ You have killed Mortal ranked monster- bat. ]

A bat that was killed was still hanging in the tree even after dying which added more horror element to the surrounding,

Arc who had not received any monster soul was even more evident in acquiring it, mostly it was out of curiosity to know what kind of Monster soul this creature possessed, left reason for eagerness to kill more beasts was to get martial arts points.

Finding similar bats of the smallest size which even might be babies of mortal ranked monsters, Arc completely let his teeth run wild on their necks and kill them.

Seeing the description of martial arts that Monster Soul got converted into was amazing. This monster's martial arts allows him to make a step in the air which can be very convenient in some scenarios of battles with monsters and even in battles with other humans.

Now, Arc was trapped in a dilemma of proceeding to attack the other ranked beast or not because his rank was lowest and he had already killed monsters of his rank which left him with the choice of hunting higher-ranked bat monsters or finding other types of monsters in this snowed forest.

He wasn't willing to end this simulation so quickly because as mentioned in the notification, the duration of spending time in real-time may increase per simulation from just one day. He flew away from that part of the forest in a random direction.

He flew for a long time but was facing many difficulties due to high snow falling fast winds. And winds here on Tetra planet were much harsher and faster than Earth, even gravity is much higher because of its size being many times larger than the Earth.

Just as he left a certain boundary away from the territory of bats, Arc was met with many small flying bees of copper colour with shining stings like it is some kind of sharpened metal needles. 

When he looked at those bees in front of him which were so dense that it seemed like a dark brown-coloured cloud, in that sudden moment, bees from the backside attacked him and tore his back leg parts where every man's pride lies. 

'Ahhhhhh.' Arc screamed inside his mind which sounded like a screeching sound outside.

The fight went on like that where Arc also bit off the heads of many bees which led to many notifications appearing on the status panel but Arc ignored those notifications only focusing on this fight where his one wing was torn first.

This caused him to fall off balance in mid-flight causing him to fall on the ground. Now, Arc was just a wide-open prey to be attacked by those predator bee monsters.
