5 The lady in the Diamond

(Luna's POV)

It's been 3 days since I came to this world, somehow I'm still alive without drinking and eating. I'm not even hungry in a little bit but I still want to eat. Anyway, I'm starting to think that I've become an immortal after being transported to this unknown place. Hahaha! I've been reading a lot of fantasy reincarnation novels that I'm starting to get delusional and maybe it's because I'm all alone that I start to talk to myself. And I'm rather thankful that this transmigration thingy didn't end me by being hit by truck-san and died like any other typical transmigration/reincarnation novels.

"Yeah, whoever is behind this. Thank you for not hitting me with truck-san."

Looking at these pillars and engravings surrounding me, I feel like it was deliberately put there to entrap what is on the center and that is me. And not only that, but there are also these moving chains that would annoyingly wrap around my body as if I was some overly aggressive animal that could run amok. And why are they keeping me here? Like hell I care, I just want something to eat. My food is my everything!

Anyway, after flicking my fingers yesterday, I found out that I have powers of fire. Truly amazing! The fire keeps on dancing on my fingertips like it was alive. So I came to the idea of burning the chains to melt and get out of here but after several attempts, I came to realize the feeling of an animal trap in a zoo, wanting to get out but can't. I truly sympathize with them after experiencing this. The only difference is that they have a caretaker but I don't and they get to eat too.

I've looked at the glowing engravings again and found that these engravings are patterned with diamonds at the center. Now I'm thinking of ways on how to crack this thing up and get out of this cage, dungeon, or whatever this place is called.

I wonder if these diamonds could be its source of power that keeps me locked up here. Well, let's try this theory out.

Without further hesitation, Luna walked over to the smallest diamond she saw earlier and try to examine it. Poking, digging, smashing it with the stone she found and burning it using her fire. But it won't budge and seems to be invulnerable. The only thing that she hadn't done is directly touching it.

Looking at her hands, she wonders if her power could absorb the power inside the diamonds like what she saw on some anime she once liked watching. So she did touch it but reality struck her once again. Once she touched it, instead of absorbing the power, she even got electrocuted and now all of her hairs are standing up and smoke is fuming from her head with her face completely black.

"argh! If I'm even transmigrated to another world why can't it be just simply about princes and princesses like any other romance novel, it would have been fun that way. Then I could just live my life in luxury served by maids and butlers not in this damn crazy prison with this blasted clingy chains that seem to resemble that annoying ex-girlfriend of Yanzi!"

Her shout and rap-like rants echoed repeatedly and this made luna even more furious.

'hah' luna feeling dejected let out a sigh and she lay down again on the solid floor. She raised her hand and played with the fire in her fingers while thinking of another way out.

As she looked at the ceiling, she noticed another diamond only that it is not transparent like the others, it was more like a diamond with molten lava inside. She frowned after seeing this as it is very unusual as the surroundings are almost all in ice. She didn't saw this in the past days because it was barely noticeable and only the tip is shown, if not for the light coming from outside beginning to dim because it's nearing the night. She stared at it for a longer time and felt like it was calling her as if it wants her to break it.

'why is that diamond red?' she tried to look around again to find any similar diamond but none is seen.

'Should I hit it with fire magic?' after experiencing being electrocuted just a moment ago, she gave up on the idea.

"but it may not, isn't it? Hmm."

She shot a fireball to the diamond and got ready to be electrocuted again but surprisingly it didn't or bounce the fireball back to her but it seems to be absorbed by the diamond. Witnessing this, she repeatedly throws and noticed that the diamond turned much redder than before.

"would it explode? Hmm, Nah!"

And with that firm decision, she throws the last fireball. But after that, the diamond seems to not have any reaction. After a minute of waiting, still, there's none. As she contemplated whether she would throw another set of fireballs, the ground shook and some pieces of small diamonds from the ceiling begins to fall. There's also dust falling, this made Luna's eyes hurt thus she closed her eyes to protect it. Not noticing that the diamond attached to the ceiling is starting to fall from losing the pieces of the ceiling that's holding it still.

After the dust subsided and everything is visible again, she saw the red diamond about the height of herself float in front of her with its lava boiling all around inside it. And that's not all there is, inside the diamond, there's a person. This made Luna frowned and stepped closer to inspect if her speculations were right. The person is a woman and she is floating in those boiling lava and it didn't affect her at all, it's as if she was just floating in the water.

Upon closer look there's indeed a person inside, she has black hair, fair skin with a seductive figure. She couldn't see the face completely because of the hair that's covering it, but she knew that she was beautiful and she wanted to see it even more. It is human nature to like beautiful things and so she leans into the diamond and touched its surface and upon touching, the diamond cracked and within seconds it spread all over the diamond and glowed bright red.

Because of the blinding red light that spread all over with a strong gust of wind, it surprised Luna that she covered her eyes instinctively and immediately backs up from the diamond.

When it all subsided, she thought it was all over and opened her eyes but what she saw surprised her even more, the woman was in front of her, very beautiful and also seductive. As she was in trance with the woman's beauty. The woman reached out to her and touched her face gently, smiled, and seductively said, "we meet again my Gemini."
