When the rain comes,
rock transforms into earth,
when the rain ceases,
earth turns to dust.
We are insignificant particles,
destined to scatter in the wind,
perish in the thunder,
lose ourselves in the mist,
fall into the fire.
Perhaps we will eventually die,
leaving no trace,
no lingering echoes.
But who can deny,
the world altered by these particles,
will be even the slightest bit different.
