16 Emergency Mission
After the fall of Engles, the battles continue for many hours. A lot of Blue Zone has fallen to the machine including important structures electrical, water, and food. The prologue battle turned most of the city into dark ruin as heavy rain poured down and clouded the city showing no sign of light or life, only the sound of Gunshot and explosions can be heard in the distance. The situation was grim for Humanity, But with the help of YoRHa, local Resistance Android, and other faction, some territorial was managed to be recovered and retaken but the machine continued to be persistent as the battle still continues each side battling to the death with neither side wanting to give up even if it means sacrifice them in the name of humanity, the battle has to turn into attrition.
(5 Hours after the fall of Blue Zone)
"The first infantry and Fourth Armor Battalion suffer too much and are requesting evac!" One of the Operator beside me reported looking at me
"Tell them to evac all the injuries to the base, and any available personnel is to join others part of the Battalion!!"
"Understood!" He look back at the monitor and begin speaking in a voice that I did not hear
"Sir, the medical regimen is lacking in medical supplies and they are requesting Anti-pain if possible."
I queue up Medical supplies while point where they will be sent. "Tell them they are already on their way ETA 2 Min"
"Yes sir!"
"The southern defense line is falling!"
I use my hand to on nearby Airfield and drag Orca and Firehawk to the enemy "Air support already en route soldier ETA 2 minutes"

I put my palm on my face while groaning
I was damn tired from hearing the same thing from the front line.
The situation gets thing worst
My throat, hand, and even my mind were tired from this. Stress is begin to pile up from my very first time dealing with massive conflict.
"Commander" I heard a voice calling me
I already who is it even if I did not look "LT. Noah"
Lt. Noah is the intelligence officer under my command. As you can see he is tasked with gathering intelligence about our surroundings
"What is it? Can't you see I am busy?" my eyes keep focusing on the Map
"...I know Commander, but You have a guest" When I heard this I Glance to see who as he step aside to show someone behind him
"You are...."
It was Classic Gothic Clothing of YoRHa clothing but it was batter with several pieces of clothing cut all over the place showing her white skin and wire coming out.
once I got a good look at her body I look at her face she was a beautiful tomboy red hair girl, I almost glance away from seeing her clothing that is currently ripped off but remember that she is an android, not a real human.
I take note of her flinch when My gaze was upon her.
"And may I know miss..?"
"I-I am 6B and was sent from commander white to contact you." She stutters the speech and seems confused about what to say next
Not until The Pod beside her floated to me showing a person after just a second the call enter.
Once I take a closer look to so who is it, I immediately know the person and salute her "Commander White!"
"...Leader of Humanity and Commander of the entire GDI force (Write-in names) " I bring my salute back down
"You must have heard that from my men." I show my best business smile from across the table which brings the pod closer to me "Welcome to Pentagon or our Headquarter Commander White"
Right now we are in the strategy room there is a huge Table and Screen showing the map of the city I currently control and a huge Operator speaks loudly speaking to their respective zone so I am not getting overwhelmed by the huge order.
"So I doubt you here to idle talk what do you want?"
She looks at me with hesitation "Evacuation of all of the human soldiers"
"We try to evacuate some of you Humans but they are not budging so we decide to go you to pursue them"
My face harden at her request "You are kidding Commander White" I Slam the table which earn a flinch from her "If we abandoned the position is the same thing as saying we are surrendering to the machine force!"
It's not like I am arrogant thinking about completely abandoning the city and maybe building from a fresh new start, from a logical point of view of course.
A building can be built but people can not, I learn this the hard way.
I understand when she asks me to evacuate all remaining humans to a safe zone from this godforsaken battlefield.
I know that... But I can't.
This city has too many secrets that the machine can't know, I already abandoned some area that is not considered important for the machine to know but it is only a matter of time until they get the intel.
And if the machine knows about the Tiberium gods know that this war is good as over.
"Besides if we abandoned the position we Will let the machine pour in and casualty Will skyrocket!" I bore my eyes on her and point at her "And if that happens Human casualty will be the least of your worry."
"No-"
After bickering with each other for a few minutes straight about safety protocol of humans safety above all else and me explaining the importance of winning this battle I decide it is enough and order her.
"Commander White your order is to hold the defense and assist the frontline until all enemy main forces eliminate or retreat any secondary mission will be sent in real-time information, I'll let you decide which one you think is important to assist or save." Her eyes went wide when heard this
When androids are ordered by humans they have to listen this was one of the programs contain that seems can not get rid of, I notice this when trying to stop 11H from doing anything stupid.
"But human safety takes priority above all else!" She tries to make sense to me
"Then How are you going to evacuate 20.000 Humans Commander White? Or could it be you are waiting for the human becoming less and evacuating them to the soo call moon?" I say in sarcasm voice of her soo call plan.
Not until I know what I did to her did I begin to soften and apologize to Her "I-I am sorry it's just really have been a stressful situation" I drop down on the chair and begin to pull out the heavies sigh to reflect on my action
I have taken my frustration at her, an Innocent android who got dragged into this got damn war.
I know every one situation including Commander White herself.
Former Resistance androids who got dragged into my Army Of Humanity plan to boost Androids' Morale, Using the excuse of Humanity hiding on the moon waiting for the machine threat to be gone and reclaim its former home.
Of course, such a system must not be perfect, as she is forced to kill anybody that knows the truth. Both androids and YoRHa.
She keeps doing it for five years, not before falling into the Machine scheme including the destruction of the entire YoRHa.
Knowing Humanity extinct for thousands of years just to see them are still alive and fighting on the ground must have flipped not just Commander White but everyone that knows the truth.
I must have lost my mind.
"P-please J-just go Commander White"
I am sorry Commander White, I know you have a lot of questions about our origin and why would we stay at this place. But once this battle is over maybe we can talk peacefully.
"But-"
"Ending the call!" The Pod shut the call and it floats back to 6B
"...Thank you 6B"
"Y-yes." She stutters again
"You can go assist the nearby GDI."
"Understood!" she Make a pose bringing her hand to the heart "Glory To Mankind!" I flinch when hearing the voice and heard her running away to the dark hallway.
The order I have given to Commander White was simple
- Don't let the machine breach the frontline
Since the start of the war, the enemy's Main force was outside the wall which GDI's main force has been trying to prevent, the battle was huge and cost a lot to stop them so any resources are pretty much gone to the frontline.
- Protect the Bunker to prevent noncombat from dying
Bunker is where noncombat are located, they are protected but at risk of being attacked. It is also the place that contains the most injuries.
- Any information that is almost leaked is to be deleted before the machine knows.
information about Blueprint, Tiberium, or more must be deleted before the machine knows. We can not let the machine grow stronger than it's already is.
While I already order her for a specific task, I already feel like she knows what to do even if I tell her what to do.
Well, She is bred for war so I am not surprised.
Once dealing with the trouble is gone I turn my attention back to the Map.
"Situation is extremely bad" I zoom in on the frontline showing over 5000 Soldiers are currently in combat against the machine.

The absolute line shows the line of defense against the Machine and the current zone where all GDI fighting, all over the line from North, east, and West is under attack.
Since the attack I have taken control of the landscape personally, controlling every single unit, but it was very taxing as I have to keep watch and think of the next plan or Support that I think is important to save.
But before I knew what was happening, It is turning into trench war with each side barraging the enemy with artillery, Bullet, and Laser.
Noah who has been quiet since the start of the conversation begins to speak "We have managed to evacuate almost everybody that is Noncombat Commander"
"..Casualty?"
"Commander, there is actually-"
"Noah Please tell me" I don't have time to deal with small chit-chat.
He looks at me with a bit of hesitation, before He signs and answers me "...We can not confirm, but Intel suggests that over 6.000 Both dead and missing" I flinch when hearing this "and more will be coming if the battle continues any longers. That did not include the number of injuries is over 12.000"
The machine has been very persistent, they keep coming any time, and they attack from all around us making our force spread thin. The only reason we still manage to hold them back was a lot of Automatic Defense I built in rush just to barely stop them
An evacuation was also ordered to the nearby bunker considering that the sky is completely under Siege with YoRHa and GDI trying their best to reduce the number.
It was a complete mistake to use V-35 Ox to evacuate the city causing widespread casualties that I failed to prevent when the enemy did a surprise attack from the underground city.
Most of it already seal but There is thousand more scattered around and destroying every part of a structure that even contain a little bit of Electrical or Humans.
I look outside a window where it is currently very dark and the only source of light is gunshots and AA turrets firing in the sky trying their best to reduce more machines in the sky.
He took me not answering to continue while walking beside me "....I am going to continue, Several structures also have been destroyed including a power plant, A-SAT defense center, and many more list that I can say it will take 30 minutes to be spoken itself." he handed me a report which I read
A-SAT Defense Center is responsible for gathering information, like Information on how many machines are out there, what kind of fighting force the enemy posses, and much more.
Command Center or the Pentagon also have turned dark as we are forced to use candles to light the room. The reason this is happening was that many of our power plants were destroyed, and without power, many of our automatic defenses will go offline. We can not let that happen as most of the defense was automatic Defense turret, without any other choice we decide to turn off unnecessary power like light and another thing that is not necessary to power many of our defenses to buy us more time to hold the machine down as we are thinking of a plan to win this battle.
"Another thing we found out is that both YoRHa and the Resistance are still fighting in the city, but we can not provide any more support. it is only going to be a war of attrition"
If the war turns into attrition it is obvious we are going to lose from fatigue if this keeps going. All of us are already tired and have a dark circle in our eyes even the Intelligent Officer is tired as we are even though he is not at the frontline.
The good news because I have the power of Command And Conquer, I manage to replenish some force, over 1.200 Soldiers mostly Infantry and Vehicles. But I have to stop a bunch of projects in mind.
I kind of wish I can just spam Mammoth Tank as that beast can take a lot of hits, but too expensive and there are a lot of areas I need to cover so I am going to need a lot of Infantry and cheap vehicles.
Also, I forget to mention I have two types of building the military and civilian sides.
The civilian has a different type of building each has its own use for example by typing on the search I can find any civilian building that exists in the Tiberium world or technology that GDI possesses like Hospitals, Fire Departemen, Police departments, and many others, for some reason, this is almost like Cities Skyline.
EVA was the one that unlock the civilian building, this was opened up 2 weeks ago when I was planning to build a civilian building, honestly, EVA is hiding a lot more than I know of.
I quickly call a bunch of doctors and nurses to accommodate the number of injuries. This is also how I manage to call Zocom and Steel Talon Commander, the only disadvantage is the technology I currently possess, for example, I can't just construct a weapon of Mass destruction without the technology to back it up.
Horayy To my power I guess
I fool around with civilian buildings, I manage to construct one for each building on the civilian side, but because I spent too much money on the civilian side I forgot to raise the Military power. and well... almost a quarter of people have not combated actively, Well even though we evacuate all of them most of the casualties of war are still from our soldiers who fight in the front line at this very moment, but not all of it was good news having the civilian Building.
The only downside is that I now have to worry about food supply, ammo, medicine just about everything that humans need to survive.
It was very frustrating when this appear alongside the civilian Building, playing a War game was one thing but Cities Skyline and Heart Of Iron 4 at the same time? I already felt the difficulty rise suddenly.
Worst We are short on everything, ammo, guns, and medicine this battle is taking too many resources.
"Is there any suggestion?"
"Luckily for us commander, There is one" He presses a couple of buttons and the hologram opens up showing seems a map of docks "We have confirmed that Androids reinforcement will arrive through the sea they should arrive soon, but our radar detected a huge machine present at the Port we don't know what it is but it could be another Machine tactic to prevent reinforcement"
The next hologram shows a picture of some kind of transport with an escort of a Carrier, Cruiser, and much more.
"Number of reinforcement?"
"The number of fleets is unknown but we conclude there are over 6.000 androids, more will be coming later if intelligent is right" My mood rose after hearing this
"That's enough to turn the tide of the battle, Is there a strike force nearby?" I look over all the maps for the closes Strike Force that is not combat active
"Yes, but only a small amount right here" He pointed me to the force "Platoon Size squad code name Rozamia"
"...Too risky sending only such a small amount of force, is there no one we can call?" I keep looking for any GDI personnel even sending fresh new Infantry and vehicles if possible.
"All Military Personal are still fighting at the frontline Commander, and you know that every bit of resource is being used to at least hold them back."
We look back at the video of the frontline which is still fighting to this very day.

"Fire Fire!!" The officer screams at the soldier who keeps retaliating at the machine that has been firing Energy Balls at them.
"T-this is almost like WW1 all over again!" "Man Down Man down-" "-Left Flank!-"
Red laser blazed across the place and the Machine charged wave after wave of the machine.
The Scatter of Machine begins to pile up, injures number keeps rising, Ammo is almost in red, and the number of Machine is not decreasing.
They have managed to set up a quick foxhole to stop the enemy's advance and to protect themselves from incoming fire.

Note:
The Foxhole is a support structure used by GDI in the Third Tiberium War. Created by rifleman squads with sandbags and shovels, infantry units can enter and use it like a garrison able structure.

The fact that they have managed to hold the battle for this long was already a miracle in itself
"They are coming"
They peek from the Garrison hole and saw a machine using Shield and Axe running to our defense fast.
"DON'T SHOW YOUR FEAR MEN"
The machine moved forward, taking the opportunity of the decrease of fire. They pushed deep and hard and eventually engaged their enemies in close combat. Swords and maces are raised high as lighter units rush to the defending line. Reinforcements entered the fight by supporting the attacking front.

"C-captain save me!" He tries to stop the axe from reaching his neck
They thought they have to lose other men when Blond hair and Gothing clothing begin charging at the machine cutting the machine in half from behind.
"Are you alright human?" "T-thanks" the officer sighs in relief.
YoRHa has been a blessing in disguise as they quickly eliminate much of the close fighter machine while we keep shooting at anybody that tries to kill us.
But the machine numbers never end, they just keep coming over and over again and it tires the GDI Force.
Not to mention seeing the number of dead bodies scattered around already demoralize our force, and the fact HQ keeps sending more soldier vehicles did not help the situation at all.
While They keep firing they heard the voice of a jet up in the skies.
They look at the source of the voice and see YoRHa beginning another of their bombing runs with their flight unit that causes multiple explosions on the machine side and begins barraging the machine with Gatling guns.
"Chance!" An officer looks back at his Squad "Let's not waste this chance men, charge....!!"
"FOR THE GDI"
"HURAHHH!" "ORAHHH!"
Tank and infantry begin to launch a full-out Assault.
Androids also follow their footstep from behind, raising their weapon or gun up in the sky while screaming too with rage.
As both sides fired their round before moving to close-range combat killing each other in the process.

The enemy is employing a strategy, of attrition and that is to tire the Military instead. That's why I am getting desperate as our soldiers have to risk their life to any advantage to win before our Supply run out or our manpower run out.
The battle has gone on too long most of our force is tired and vehicles are too damaged to continue, resource is also depleted as I don't have any more money to repair or built new defense even though my harvester has been working very hard to gather more money. YoRHa and nearby Resistance Androids have been a helping since the start of the Battle but that's only going to be a temporary solution.
The battle must be decided today.
I just worry that I can not keep an eye on the unit because I have to worry about the frontline.
....But my units are actually capable of Independent Actions, grasping tactics, and adapting when the situation demands it. So I hope they can finish the mission in my place.
With my plan lay out I order Liuteman Noah. "We can't spare any more time until our force is tired from the long state of battle, Take the chance for us to win this battle"

5 APC Drive around the city after avoiding machine patrol while firing its heavy machine guns that are on sign and are now landing at LZ point as the hatch open up and soldiers begin coming out one by one.
"Clear!" "Clear!" "Clear!"
Once the troops come out of the APC, they begin moving slowly while keeping watch of the surrounding.
Rain and thunder clouded the city, and the creaking sound of broken windows, and rubles of structures can be seen from the leftover building.
My name is Lucas, and I am the Medical Sergeant of Romarion Platoon. Serving for military service for years trying to complete my military service so I can get an intuition for college, but end up in this unknown world fighting a whole new enemy.
"I still remember where this place is usually crowded with people" He whispers while running beside me
This is my buddy Sergeant Liam, we have been together since we sign up for the military in Germany.
"Now it is soo quiet?" I answer quietly while keeping a watch on the surrounding
We stay quiet about what we just heard, the once beautiful Blue Zone full of the lush green plant is now an abandoned landscape leaving nothing but ruin and destruction.
Even though we are prepared, many people still manage to die, no matter how much we kill them more will come, and even Veterans will be having trouble dealing with numbers.
"...We should have listened to the commander"
"...Yeah"
He already said multiple times to not underestimate our enemies no matter how weak they are, and we paid the price for it.
"...Well Nothing can we can do about It-" I was cut off when I bump into the soldier in front of me and was shut tight by someone's hands
I glance to see The one that who shut my mouth was our leader and He makes a gesture to be quiet with me
once I nod he let go of my mouth and aimed at the dark ally of the city.
The other soldier follows suit and begins making formation to aim at the dark ally.
"The damn rain has made the city dark for us to see" one of the soldiers whispered to the other
We make a circle and look all around them for any target
"Hey wait for a second... did I see something move?"
We have not even started shooting and we already feel nervous.
"CONTACT" Once someone screams all the Soldiers make a wall of Riflemen and aim at the incoming Machine where he points while bringing their flashlight to see them.
Once the Machine has fully seen they saw a smaller machine with blade and mace charging at us. Numbers were over two digit.
Without much voice, we begin firing their round a hail of bullets, one by one Small type of Machine getting eliminated.
"More on 6 Clock!" One soldier scream and half split firing behind them
"Good god, this city is crawling with them!"
Before we know it, each of us makes a circle firing around all around us.
"Argh! They're everywhere!" "Shut up! If you have time to speak shoot them!"
After minutes of feeling like an eternity, the machine has been reduced but we lost another soldier as his body was hit by Energy Ball.
I can't help but curse our situation, and keep moving to continue our mission.
After minutes of Running Liam Spoke with me again "Man, this city is wrecked."
I glance at him and nod "Yeah, but it looks like the structures are intact... mostly. Kind of low on power though."
As we are forced to walk slowly in the dark Crawling with a machine one of the soldier try to lighten the mood "Kind of makes you nostalgic for Nod, huh?"
"Uh no, it doesn't. The Brotherhood was at least human though, I'll give them that."
"...That's true."
They keep running on foot until they Saw the possible location of their target, they crouch down and the officer pulls out binoculars to look at the machine.
Once he checks the situation lieutenant decides to call Command by bringing a radio close to his mouth "Command, we have found out enemy artillery is at the Port."
"How many are there?" He looks back at his binocular
"From what we could see there are 3 Howitzers Class Machines"
3 is enough to disturb a landing force, Looks like command instinct was right.
"Sergeant, I need you to shut down that artillery, our soldier in the frontline can not spare any more time."
"Can't we call Artillery or our Air Strike?"
"Artillery busy bombarding the enemy at the front line, aircraft are unable to assist as all are still in combat. Nobody is going to help you are all on your own"
"Understood" He shut the comms for radio Silent and looks back at the us.
"Got a plan?" "We should split up" "Yeah let's deal with each artillery to speed up our objective"
"....Sounds like a plan."
After further debate, we decide There will be three squads, and each Squad has 5-6 Soldiers.
I am in Squad B, and I am also the leader.

"They know we are here! Open FIRE!!"
We keep running avoiding laser fire and shooting at the machine as each of us takes cover behind the container or wall while returning fire at the machine.
I peek over the wall and see Machine that is operating the artillery begin to spin its artillery at us.
It's trying to use that thing here? Cih
I glance at Squad "Missile Squad fire missiles on the artillery!" They Nod at me and pull out their RPGs and Begin aiming
As the rocket launched into the machine and hit the artillery huge chain of explode from the artillery was destroyed making the surrounding Machine get caught in it.
I glance at the map on my Hud and see machine threats have been eliminated "...No machine detected Mission Complete."
"Such an easy mission" Liam heading to me while looking at the fire where the explosion happened
"Oh don't say that you are going to raise the death flag" I point out
"Shit... You are right" He groans covering his face while I laugh at his expression.
I heard a sound explosion and look at the source to see There is smoke in the other Artillery location, and another appear in the other location of the Artillery.
They must have already eliminated the Artillery.
Deciding that our mission was over I decided to contact command"Command this Squad B we have successfully eliminated the Artillery"
"Nice works-" There was a bit of pause in the voice "...Hold on"
"This is a command to Squad B, Hurry and get the hell out of there!" I rise my eyebrow when hearing this
"But sir our objective is to defend the position until Reinforcement arrives!" Why would Command waste this chance
But the next voice was desperate "Hurry Up! Squad A has been eliminated and the machine is coming to your position get ready!" That immediately brings adrenaline to my body
We begin looking around for the machine heading to our position.
We heard the sound of metal in the distance like metals were being dragged by something, but no visual on the machine around us.
"Where is it?" Liam my buddy says in a nervous tone
I call the command again to ask "What we are dealing with Command?"
"It's-"
Not until when I heard a voice behind me as a shock wave knock me as I am flying in the air along with the other Soldier.
With my quick reaction, I roll over to prevent from hurting on the fall, I look behind with my guns ready to see one of the soldiers cut in half as blood spews out that My eyes harden.
Round shape, red Eyes, and multi legs like a spider.
"...Goliath Spider."
This day just gets worst.

I try to make a map of the battlefield trying to convey my point of view of the battlefield pretty cool right?
By the way sorry for the weird dialogue, it is still incomplete but I decide to send it now and rewrite it later once I have a clue for my next plan to fix it.
Anyways sorry for the last Uploud, got soo many assignments and tasks given by my devil teacher preventing me from finishing my work but now that I was given a day off I'll try to upload 3 chapters for this month.
