1 Gatekeeper

The elemental Gates were protected by Gatekeepers. But recently Gatekeepers were disappearing and chaos was unleashed across the universe. The Gatekeepers were mechs piloted by humans but the mechs were being taken and the pilots dead until all that was left were the fleets of ships and troops. Then one day a little boy was playing in a cave and slipped and fell into an abyss of darkness and the kid screamed a word he never knew before. And out of the rock burst an ancient Gatekeeper it grabbed him and put him in the pilot seat and jumped out of the cave and it stood in the middle of a city and everyone gasped because it was the only remaining Gatekeeper that was standing there with the boy when he sat up he was injected with a black liquid that made him grow and he knew what to do he jumped through the fleet blockade and headed to the final stand where the elementals were going to free the elemental lord which couldn't happen unless the Gatekeeper was killed and the fleets were protecting it until they got past so they retreated and the elementals took control and were launching attacks to the gate keep when news of an ancient Gatekeeper The Guardian was its name and had been lost for thousands of years until that day. When humanity's last hope had been destroyed all fleets retreated to the main planets with other fleets. Cargo routes had heavy escorts for the bigger cargo ships but the smaller ships had a smaller escort. On one of the cargo routes near an asteroid belt a couple of small cargo ships were under attack and sent out a distress signal but other ships ignored it and this angered the Guardian so he flew past a fleet of ships and left them shaking in fear when one of the ships was critically damaged and could not take much. With its weapon drawn it charged and cleared a path for the cargo ships and out from the asteroid belt came the fighters that were hiding until reinforcements came when the battle was over a fleet came and the Gatekeeper was nowhere to be seen the crew thought they were crazy because all Gatekeepers were destroyed but even the fighter pilots were saying they saw it too so they looked at the pilot cams and there it was the last remaining Gatekeeper protecting the cargo ships the Gatekeeper was severely damaged but it was holding its ground against elemental cruisers and then just disappeared it was following the small cargo ships without being seen. Then the small convoy was stopped by a bigger fleet for searching that the cargo wasn't damaged. They didn't know it was a trap but then from behind the small convoy the Guardian came out of hiding and started firing from the darkness. Until the rogue fleet was on the run but he didn't let them escape he hunted down every rogue ship before they even got the chance to jump out the small convoy watched in fear for what might happen to them. as quickly as it appeared it disappeared into the dark black expanse of space.
