The longer I cultivated the more annoyed I got with the Dragon in my head.

Needless to say getting one over the old lizard was very important to me and I needed all the focus to make it to the Evil Gods level of understanding. According to Canglong there are 5 known levels of law comprehension the basic level where you can feel it for the first time, the practical level where you can channel them into objects, the expert level where you can utilize them to make physical constructs, the master level where you can call upon them without using energy and the God level where you can give form to element spirits . I had reached the 2nd level just barely but that still means I have the hardest levels to go.

Unable to refute him I could do nothing but admit he had won.

"No it wont I'm nearly at the 4th level now, And anyway it will be for the best to comprehend it in its entirety before absorbing your legacy."

As we got off of that subject Canglong brought up something important.

"How much of the ocean have you conquered brat?"

" I've surrounded both the Profound Sky Continent and the Illusory Demon Realm and everything in between if I'm sensing correctly."

"Not bad progress but it will take you a while at your current rate."

"Then I might as well get stronger for now."

"Yes! Hurry up and comprehend the water laws and inherit my legacy!"

With a cry I finally formed a minor spirit of water. A minor spirit requires the sacrifice of one level of cultivation, a normal spirit requires a grand realm and a major spirit requires 5 grand realms of cultivation to summon let alone do anything with. As the years dragged on I cultivated some and broke through twice but since I formed a minor spirits I'm at the 5th of Sovereign Profound.

"Congrats brat on breaking into the 5th level only seen in the age of gods!"

"Ha~ Yes now I can take your legacy."

Without much bravado Canglong took out his legacy.

"I can give you all ten drops of Dragon God Blood and the Dragon God Marrow but I can't offer the Soul of the Dragon God."

"That's fine. You being my spirit grants the same effects."

"Ooh I didn't realize that brat! Anyway Absorb the blood and check your reaction to it. I will be looking at your condition the entire time as well to discern the outcome. Lets hope the heavens don't shoot lightning at us in anger!"

"Hey! Don't jinx it!"

With a sigh I began to absorb the ten drops of Dragon God Blood and the Dragon God Marrow at the same time to properly integrate them into my body. Cracks ran up and down my 15 kilometer long body pulsing in divine azure glow but then the pain set in. I don't know how long I wasn't in control of my body but suddenly I heard Canglong.

'Control yourself brat! You need to control yourself!"

I could hear him but I couldn't respond even in my mind. My body was destroying and regenerating itself in an endless cycle, expelling more and more divine energy when suddenly the sky darkened and the clouds spiraled uyntil a circle formed around me.

*Rumble*

"Oh that doesn't look good"

For what seems like the first time I wholeheartedly agree with Canglong. I already couldn't feel my body let alone what that was going to do to it. With a resounding boom the heavens began dropping lightning bolts upon my body. All I could think of was cursing Canglong for bringing up lightning earlier. Canglonng must have thought the same thing.

'Sorry brat. This just might be your bad luck.'

If I could respond I would have chewed him out but before I could my vision turned black and I felt no more.
