FUUUuuuuuuuu~

The sound of whistling air echoed in the forest.

Where a young man with platinum blue hair, was sitting on a rock with his legs crossed.

Crunch - Crunch.

Soon, the dry waves that filled the forest rustled, warning of the presence of more people.

Out of the darkness of the forest came four young men who were led by a gray-haired boy.

No words came out of their mouths as they watched the young man sitting on the stone, until he spoke, breaking the silence.

"It seems that we are all present. Isn't it Nickolas?"

I said while observing his "friends".

"You should have brought someone, though I understand you can't..... Since you don't have any friends."

Nickolas looked like he had a clown for dinner, as his words generated some laughter from his lackeys.

"So what did you want to talk about Adad."

I hopped off the rock I was sitting on, which brought me right in front of Nickolas.

"Not much, I just wanted to make you understand that you and I are equal or rather that I am better than you."

I said, causing Nickolas' eyes to fill with annoyance.

"You don't seem to understand that this is proven by deeds and you only prove to be a child who thinks that everything is fixed with words and love."

What he said was true, that was Adad's way of being and thinking, a very stupid one indeed.

"In fact you are right I have to prove it with facts and not words".

Tap.

I took a step forward, causing the tension to rise.

Slowly I moved my right arm, positioning it in the form of a salute.

"Just promise one thing. That what happens now will not leave those present here."

Nickolas nodded as he moved his hand and joined it with mine.

The force I was exerting on his hand increased exponentially but instead of trying to pull it away, I took the opportunity to pull him closer to me.

I released a small lightning bolt that paralyzed his hand and with my free hands, I moved them towards his neck, squeezing it.

"Gahah~."

His mouth opened trying to catch his breath, but all he could do was let out a strange sound."

Ziiiing~

The sound of a sword being unsheathed and slashing the air reverberated. Forcing me to step back.

I waved my hand, aiming at the minions.

Right where they were, the ice crunched the ground causing it to slip.

"Khuuu. Bastard, what are you waiting for, follow him!".

Nickolas' words woke up the boys who pulled out their sticks and pointed them at me.

I tensed my legs and positioned my hand on Dead Rose's scabbard.

With all my strength I took a big leap and swung my sword.

Cliiing~

Our swords clashed and I exerted strength in my arms to pull the boy down.

"H, help!"

Without giving his partner time, I stopped pushing and took a step to the left.

Thud

I lifted my knee and drove it into his ribs.

I took a step backward, gained momentum, and ran towards the other two boys with wands.

Fuuuu

I cut my run short when a ground bullet flew past my ears.

More flew after that one and the wizards conjured up their fire and water bullets.

Clanck~ Clanck~

Sparks lit up the forest every time I blocked a bullet.

Soon orange light-filled it as a fireball flew in my direction.

I used what little concentration I could muster to conjure a wall of water in front of me.

Sssssssss

The steam rose quickly and I used it as a cover as I gathered mana in my hands which I let expel in the form of tympani.

"Gaahhh!"

A scream reberated from behind a tree that had split with my ice eardrums.

Without thinking, I ran in the direction of the voice.

"Hiiii~ please don't do anything to me."

I ignored the boy's words and continued to approach, positioned myself behind him, and hit the back of his head.

"Adad you bastard!. I'll kill you."

I heard Nickolas' voice and jumped to my right.

The dirt-covered fist hit where I stood, causing the tree and the poor kid to be hit.

"Fack Still, I hit him with everything."

Nickolas said as he looked at the Still boy lying on the ground.

"Although the important thing is to know for what reason an Adad sword is used."

His words generated a smile on my face.

"We primed that nothing that would happen here would come from us right."

Nickolas' fists clenched and he glared at me angrily as he ran in my direction.

Every step he took cracked the ground and his momentum was so fast that despite running it took him no time at all to catch up to me.

"Come on you bastard, try my fist with E-Rank strength-".

Less than three steps away from me Nickolas swung his fist to which I replied by spinning around my axis and swinging my sword towards his fist.

Claaaanck~

The blow echoed in the forest and despite trying to push him away Nickolas' strength got the better of me, causing me to fall backward and roll on the ground.

My body was full of wounds thanks to the stones on the ground and before I could stand up Nickolas jumped on top of me.

With force and momentum, he swung his fist towards my face, which I dodged literally by a hair's breadth.

I twisted around, trying to escape Nickolas' grip but all I managed to do was position my hand on his stomach.

Which I used to conjure an ice temple with a square-shaped tip.

Track.

The square hit in a mass of hard earth on Nickolas' body, but the force was enough to push him back and free me from him.

In a frenzy, I moved my gaze all around until I found my sword that had flown a few meters away from me.

I ran towards it and just as I was about to grab it, I withdrew my hand as fast as I could.

A water bullet passed in front of me and went through the tree leaving a hole in it.

Instantly my gaze was riveted on the bastard hiding behind a tree with his staff in hand.

But before I could even think of counterattacking a heavy blow landed on my back, sending me rolling again.

Zap.

While surrounding a small lightning bolt illuminated my body and soon many, aces were generated from my sword that I had managed to grab.

Ruuumble.

The lightning flew in the direction of Nickolas so fast that he only had time to cross his arms in defense.

While he was writhing on the ground I ran towards the remaining minion.

When he saw me he tried to run but I applied Dana's trick.

The minion fell face-first to the ground when a pool of water generated under his feet, causing him to fall.

I approached him and without giving him time I kicked him in the back of his head with just enough force to knock him out.

Just as I was about to turn around, intense pain shot through my leg forcing me to fall.

I moved my gaze to my leg and saw blood coming out of a well.

"You bastard. Deaaaaaaad."

Nickolas who had his hand outstretched Brico towards me and threw a series of punches towards my face.

I tried to dodge them but most of them hit me directly in the face.

I can only be thankful that they weren't covered in dirt.

Nickolas paused for only a second to take a breath, but I didn't waste it and turned my body around.

I took my sword and with the hilt, I began to strike him.

Thud.

A piece of earth rose from the ground and hit my side.

Separating me from my sword and sending me flying.

As best I could I stood up and engaged Nickolas in a series of blows.

At some point, his blows slowed down leaving an opening, which I took advantage of to throw him to the ground.

I used ice to create some chains that tied him to the ground and copied his technique, to cover my fists and lightning that I conjured.

My blows fell all over Nickolas' body until the complaints of pain stopped coming out of his mouth and the strength left his body.

With my fists full of blood, which I didn't know if it was mine or his, I looked at the sky.

Just like the day I jumped from the building, today was a night full of stars.

Crack.

The dry leaves crunched.

Everything.

The sound of approaching footsteps grew louder.

My body tensed but I didn't even have the strength to move anymore.

"You are not... the Adad I expected to see here and not one I know either."

A gentle voice spoke, causing a chilling echo to fill the forest.

I didn't even need to turn around to know who was speaking.

"HA~ You don't look like the heroine I expected to see either."

The last thing I could see was beautiful purple hair before my body fell onto something soft.

Adad's body had fallen onto Emilia's chest who hugged him.

With her right hand, she caressed his hair tenderly, while she had in her eyes a look full of love and nostalgia.

"Tell me.

What's the use of coming back if you're not the one I expected to see? Adad."

The light hit my eyes forcing me to open them slowly.

"Gaaah."

A snort of pain came out of my mouth.

The moment I tried to move my body a little a pain shot through my leg and my entire body.

With difficulty I turned my gaze downward and to my surprise I was on a bed that looking around I could identify as my room at the Great Mage academy.

I tried to move my hand, which was full of bandages as well as my legs and knuckles.

Then a worry flooded my mind.

I ignored my pain and looked around the room for Dead Rose, but I couldn't find her.

I activated Ice Haert and moved to the closet to change my torn clothes.

I jumped towards the window and the moment I fell out of the residence I remembered.

Classes.

Most likely they had already started, at least according to the position of the sun.

Haaaa~

Tasha will kill me if she finds out.

I entered the forest and walked down the path towards the center of the forest.

Yesterday we had fought in the deepest part of the forest so as not to attract attention.

I am not so much as to risk being seen fighting in the school.

As I walked I tried to remember what happened yesterday after I saw Emilia.

I couldn't remember anything but it was easy to guess that she had blindfolded me.

My thoughts were cut off when I managed to see the rock I was sitting on.

I walked to the left following the traces of the battle until I saw Dead Rose lying next to a tree.

"I'm sorry Rose, I will never let go of you again I swear."

I said as I gave my beloved sword a hug and sheathed it.

Just as I was about to leave I took a look around which stopped at a certain spot.

A few feet away from me Nickolas was lying with his lackeys piled on top of him.

Only one word filled my mind at that moment.

"Really."

With a sigh I approached them and conjured a small square of ice in which I placed them one on top of the other.

Thud.

I kicked the ice block causing it to move.

On the way Nickolas' head hit the ground but I still didn't wake up.

In the end, I managed to get them out of the forest and into room number 29 which had Nickolas' name marked with a knife on the door.

After that I went to my room, took a bath and went to bed with one question on my mind.

What on earth had Emilia done to be able to bandage my crotch?
