Golden moon's significance

Anastasia stood on one side of the room, while Princess Emily sat on the edge of the bed next to the sick woman.

It seemed like the princess and the lady had a little secret between them, aiming to prevent the princess from marrying the first man her mother found agreeable, Anastasia thought. As they continued speaking to each other, she noted how Princess Emily didn't treat the woman badly, even though she was her father's mistress.

"Oh, you are almost done with the scarf," Princess Emily said, leaning forward to pick up a blue scarf from the bed and looking at it. "It is a lovely colour."

Lady Lucretia smiled and said, "There's still a little more to knit before I bind it off. Then it should be done and Dante can wear it."

"I am sure he will. I love the one you made for me. I still cherish it," Princess Emily beamed happily before placing the scarf down. "I thought to spend some time with you before we return tomorrow morning."
