Since the moon was often associated with beauty and romantic admiration, this only deepened her suspicion, reinforcing her belief that the archdemon was up to no good. 

"I will go ahead," Raylen declared to her, his lips twisting mischievously as he walked away. 

Julia approached the princess from behind and whispered, "King Raylen must like you, Princess Emily."

"He's probably just testing Brother Dante," Emily responded to her maid. Not to mention, the red-headed demon seemed to get his kicks out of provoking others, she thought to herself. She added, "I will see you later, Julia."
