60 Chapter 60: Many Bosses

Kurono was in no hurry to go check on the three girls. He was sure that those three were not in trouble, as they haven't send any distress signal to him.

Along the way, Kurono killed some small snakes, and also some bigger one like the Anaconda that fought against Kaze. As he walked, he stopped in front of a tall big three. There are many fruits on it, some got a red shade showing that it was ripe and many were still green.

However, Kurono's focus was not on the fruits or the three. His focus was on the a beautiful girl, who was looking at him with some interest. That girl however somewhat different from human. Her lower body was of a snake body, and her hair were not real hair, but many small blue snakes. Though, her eyes didn't resemble snake eyes, but of a human eyes.

"Medusa!"

Kurono hurriedly closed his eyes, and used his psychic powers to sense the girl on the tree.

On another location, at the creek of the river, Sakuraoka's group saw in the distance a giant snakes body, with the upper half of it's body is a giant human girl. The half giant human was sleeping soundly on top of a big flat boulder. Her hair were some small red snakes.

"Oh no! It's Medusa!" exclaimed Raul and his team.

One of the red snake hair saw the hunters, and was alerted.

Sssh! Sssh! Sssh!

The small snake made some sounds, causing the giant girl to slowly woke up. It then looked towards the human group.

"Watch out! don't look at it's eyes!" warned Raul.

However, his warning come a little late. Sakuraoka and Reika already met eyes to eyes with the gorgeous giant gorgon. The two then visibly turned into stones.

"No! Kurono..." Reika showed some fear on her face. She called Kurono's name at the last moment, before she turned into stone sculpture.

Sakuraoka also, fell into instant struggle. In the end, she said a few words, "Kei, save me and the baby..."

In less then two minutes, the two bodies turned entirely into stones.

"Ah! They got turned into stones."

"Run! The both of them are finish!"

The Iquitos Team hurriedly run away from that place. However, a big snake body barred the way to their back.

"Go to the side!"

Sazaro, and Raul who was still carrying Stella run to the right side. However, a face swiftly appeared in front of them.

"Aahhh!"

"Nooo!"

The sudden appearance caught them by surprise, and caused them to look in the eyes of the enemy. Like the first two, they also felt despair, and visibly turned into stones.

After all of them turned into stones, the giant girl collected those stone sculptures, and put them in the water. Along the new stone sculptures, there are many other stone sculptures inside the water.

"You all should never mistaken me as my sister, Medusa. My name is Stheno." said the giant half human. After that, she once again laid down on the boulder, and continue to sleep.

"Run! We don't stand a chance against that monsters." said Sakata.

He and Sakurai hurriedly run away. Sometimes teleporting some distance away.

At their back, many trees were being thrown like a weeds, and a gigantic creature was slithering towards the two with great speed.

That creature was a giant girl with snake as her lower body. The two psychic power users were troubled by this big monster.

At first, they thought they stand a chance to fight against this monster alien. However, the were rendered powerless when this big this showed that it was immune to psychic powers.

"Darling~~ Wait for me...hehehe."

A booming sounds comes out of the mouth of the big half female human, whose lower body was a snake. "Yo~ blonde young man, come back here~"

"Gah! She is trying to call me." Sakurai shivered when he heard the voice at the back. "Somehow, I'm curious to look back."

"Don't you dare! That Medusa has the ability to turn human into stone." warned Sakata.

The two continued running away as fast as they can. At the back, the half snake heard Sakata, and said, "You got the wrong name. I'm Euryale."

"Really?" Sakata was surprised when he heard the girl. He was about to turn back, but got slapped on his face.

"No sensei! You will turn into stone if you look back." warned Sakurai.

"Gah! Dammit! I almost got tricked by that monster." Sakata yelled in annoyance for he almost turned back. If he turned just now, he would probably already become a stone.

"I'm telling the truth though. I'm really Euryale."

"Nanana! Not listening!"

The two swiftly run away while the snake slithered and pursued them. The pursue continue untli the three disappeared into the distance.

At another place, Kaze just arrived near a little cave. A man was sitting in front of the cave, playing some tune with his flute.

Kaze observed the man for a moment, and felt that this man was different. Some cold air was released from the man's body. At the same time, the man also looked at Kaze. The man said, "Hunter. So, you have arrived. Are you here to kill my kind?"

Kaze didn't reply. He just readied himself to enter into a fight.

"So, you really have come to kill us. In that case, don't blame me for taking your life. Be prepared then." said the man, slowly standing up. He then put the flute on his mouth, and started playing a tune.

Suddenly, several snakes slithered towards Kaze. At the same time, a large white snake came out of the cave at the back of the man with flute. It also slithered forward and attacked Kaze.

Back at Kurono side, the beautiful snake lady was looking at Kurono's face, and smiled. "Are you here to kill me?"

Kurono didn't answer, and just readied himself to take down this beauty.

"You know, I'm not included in your 'target'." said the lady, giving Kurono a surprise. "If you don't believe me, just check onto your device."

Kurono don't want to believe the girl. However, his curiousity forced him to check the radar. To his surprise, there are no target in his area right now. There are four more targets, but not one of them was in his proximity.

"Why are you not the target? Aren't you Medusa?" asked Kurono, looking at the lady with a closed eyes.

"Medusa? Sorry, I'm not her. I'm Nuwa." said the lady. Nuwa then added, "Would you like to be my life companion?"

"Wha?" Kurono was stumped for words.

"You look so handsome. I think I have fallen for you. Would you like to be my husband?" asked Nuwa.

This sudden development really confused Kurono. Suddenly, he got some distress call from Reika and Sakuraoka. Are they in trouble?

"I'm sorry. I have other things to do." said Kurono, bowing down a little towards the snake. After that, he disappeared from that place.

"Wai...and he is gone." sighed the lady. "How should I find him again?"

The lady sniffed the wind, and then smiled. "He is not that far."

The girl then slithered down the tree, then moved towards the direction that she think Kurono went to.

After killing all the half snakes, the two Kishimoto and Shinozaki rested for a bit. Shinozaki once again checked the radar, and saw that there was one dot moving towards their location.

"Hei, there is a target moving towards us." warned Shinozaki.

Splash! Boom!

Right then, the water that was falling splashed to two side, and a giant human snake come out from the cave that was hidden behind the waterfall.

"That's the boss, Medusa!"

"Kill it before it saw us." said Rei.

As Medusa looked around, she was angered that all of her female attendants already turned into many meat paste. She yelled furiously. "HUNTERS! How dare you kill my subordinates."

"Attack!" said Rei.

"Wait, watch out for it's eyes." said Shinozaki.

"What?"

Medusa eyes showed some light, and both Rei and Fei were turned into stones.

"Nooo!" Shinozaki screamed in fright. She who didn't look at Medusa was saved from turning into stones.

"Die!!"

Medusa's tail swiped at lightning fast towards the three. Shinozaki throw away the Z-Gun in her hand, hugged the two girls and quickly teleported away. Just as she vanished from her spot, the tail landed.

Boom!

The ground was crashed when the attack hit it. However, a ball of fire was left hovering there. It exploded while the tail was there, with a huge boom. However, the tail was unharmed.

"Psychokinesis? You got the wrong opponent." said Medusa coldly. " You won't be able to run away that far. I can smell you."

Saying so, Medusa slithered swiftly towards Shinozaki. At the same time, Shinozaki who was holding those two stone sculptures were running and teleporting quickly. "Kurono, it's bad. The girls already turned to stones."

When Kurono appeared, he was inside of the river. He looked around, and was stunned. His face turned pale in despair when he saw his two girlfriends are in a stone sculptures form.

"Rebrrmb!" shouted Kurono, but only sounded bubbly inside the water. He hurriedly teleported closer, and reached the two. After that, he teleported them out of the water.

Not far from Stheno, Kurono appeared with those two stone sculptures. He didn't even open his eyes, but he could sense his surrounding, including the existence of this giant half snake. The giant also slowly woke up when it's hair saw Kurono appears.

"Medusa. You are the one who turned them to stones?" asked Kurono.

"Hunters, why are you all saying that I'm Medusa?" said Stheno, looking at Kurono with a frown. "Remember my name until you die. I'm Stheno."

Stheno then swiped her claws and attacked Kurono with a lightning speed. Her claws landed, but Kurono was not on that spot.

Kurono appeared in the far distance, and slowly put down the two sculptures. After that, he once again teleported, and appeared near Stheno.

"If I kill you, will they turn back to human form?" asked Kurono.

"Perhaps." replied Stheno. Once again, she clawed at Kurono, but only hit the empty air. Instantly, Kurono appeared above Stheno. He then conjured a big fireballs and threw it towards the half giant snake.

"Explode!"

The fireballs exploded the moment it closed to Stheno,and the were small shockwaves created from the explosion. Kurono hurriedly put an invisible barrier to shield himself from the aftermath of his own attack.

"Did I get her?"

Swoosh! Pow!!

Instantly, a punch appeared out of the smokes from the explosion, and about to hit Kurono. The giant punch passed through his psychic defend and hit him squarely.

"Guh!!"

Boom!

With one hit, Kurono was sent flying upward, and disappeared into the sky within a second.

As the smokes vanished into thin air, Stheno appeared in her place without any kind of injuries on her body. She looked calmly towards the sky at the direction where Kurono disappeared.

Suddenly, the sky turned dark, and wind blew faster. Many dark clouds gathered together, forming one giant cloud. Not long later, many lightning current appeared and streaked along the giant dark cloud.

KLONG!

A giant lightning strike came down, and struck Stheno. The half snake expression changed at the last minute, but couldn't do anything to avoid the lightning. Her body was suddenly scorched black, and lay down on the ground.

Kurono appeared again near the charred body, while holding his body. His suit was damaged, and many of his bones were broken from that one giant punch. Kurono wiped out the blood on his mouth and nose with a great effort.

"Arghh! This is really painful. I was too careless just now. Didn't expect this one to be unharmed with psychic powers." said Kurono, groaning in pain. "Tensho, heal me."

Kurono then got teleported back to the Gantz Room. After healing his body, he once more got teleported back.
