Shameless Request

"So, tell us, Xavier. What are you planning?" asked Achara after being told by him to let Karim and his group go.

"Not much. Just trust me and everything will come together. We just need to focus on the dojo for now, and you will get your time to shine like Connor soon," he reassured her.

"Ugh. Always trying to look cool and mysterious," she moaned, but weirdly trusted him and anticipated what was to come in the future.

Connor, who had carried all the youths and sat them in a circle, walked over to Xavier and Achara, allowing Karim to leave with his group, and he didn't really understand what Xavier was thinking.

They clearly held animosity towards them, so maybe it wasn't the right decision to let them go, but he wasn't too bothered about it as he joined the two of them.

-

"Karim. Are we really gonna leave like this after they beat our asses?"

"Yeah, you should have got him while he was distracted."

"We can take that big guy if we work together, and it is all that little Zack's fault. We'll kill him next time we see him."

"Let's tell the Wolf Gang about this. I am sure they will kill them."

Sighing, Karim stopped them, "Listen, guys, do you trust me?"

"Of course Karim, you always stood up for us and without you, we wouldn't be able to make some money."

"Then trust me when I tell you to forget about them and Zack. Just leave it to me, and tonight when the Wolf Gang come to drop off the goods, I will be there alone."

"Are you sure Karim?"

"What did he say to you?"

"Just trust me. We're all gonna be rich and all of our worries will go away."

Walking off with their heads hung low, the so-called Silver Claw Gang had been utterly defeated, but it brought about a new dawn for them that only Xavier and Karim knew about.

-

"Are you sure about letting them go, Xavier? They could get the Wolf Gang to come after us," Connor asked.

Joining the rest of them, Zack seemed to be annoyed by his decision and still wanted to get more revenge on them, especially on Karim.

"Just trust me. I will handle everything. And Zack, Karim won't be messing with you anymore and if you need help or anything, just ask him. He works for me now," he reassured them.

"What?! Why would you want Karim to...?"

"Zack. What would have happened if I beat him up and then let him go? The Wolf Gang would have come after us, and they would harass you and your grandmother even more. Would you have been able to kill them so that they couldn't tell the Wolf Gang? And even if you could, you wouldn't get away with it for long, and the result would be the same. So get your head out of your ass and lead us to your home."

Xavier was very stern with him, but Zack knew he was right and apologised before turning to lead them to where he lived.

"We've got your back alright. And so does Karim now, so don't ever be afraid of anyone again," Xavier reminded him as he put his arm around the little nerd.

"And did you see how cool Connor was?!" he added, lightening up the mood.

Connor couldn't hide how proud he was of himself, but just as he was about to start showing off, Achara glared at him.

"When we get back to the dojo. Me and you, one on one. I want to see who's better at fighting," she said to him, sending a chill down his spine.

"My money's on Achara," commented Xavier.

"Mine's on the titan, Connor," added Zack as they made their way over to his house.

It was a small home, and they weren't expecting much, as they followed him inside to find his grandmother sitting on her rocking chair in the living room, knitting away at a scarf.

He went over to her and kissed her forehead as she asked him why he was back from his Muay Thai training so early.

"I forgot something and came to pick it up. Thanks again for letting me do it, I already made a few friends there," he said to her with a smile as he went and got her some water and anything else she needed before leading his new friends to his room.

As soon as they entered, they couldn't help but be surprised and utter, "Wow..."

They thought he was a nerd, but not to that level.

He had wires and monitors all over the room and apart from his bed in the corner, everything else had all sorts of weird consoles and gadgets on them.

"You really are a nerd," Xavier couldn't help but comment.

"Hey! Do you want my help or not?"

"Yeah, yeah. Just make it quick. I need to get back to the dojo and teach someone a lesson," he said before glaring at Achara.

A cold chill ran down her spine as she put on a wry smile, but she also wanted to get back to the dojo and see what Connor was capable of for herself.

Such a giant man couldn't be a pushover and seeing how easily he dealt with an armed group of youths, he definitely wasn't your average man.

Grabbing a few things and handing them over to Connor, Achara and Xavier, surprisingly, it didn't take Zack long to find what he needed despite the state his room was in.

He had a card printer, a spare computer and a monitor, as well as a few other bits and pieces, which was quite weird for a kid his age to have.

Seeing their questioning looks, he revealed to them in a proud manner, "I use that card printing machine and my computer to make fake IDs that I sell at school. That's how I can afford this stuff."

Not expecting that to be the case, contrary to what Zack was expecting, Xavier then went on to scold him for doing so.

"Are you trying to get yourself in trouble, kid? Don't sell stuff in school, especially not fake IDs," sighing he continued, "It really is impressive, but you've got to be more careful now."

Zack knew that Xavier was right and decided that he would stop making fake IDs altogether... until Xavier made a shameless request.

"Could you make me one? And on it, make sure I'm over 21."

'This motherf.....'

Zack took a deep breath before nodding his head, not bothering to say anything about it, as the other two laughed from the sidelines, seeing how Zack's face had distorted upon receiving Xavier's request.
