" You might be, but even for a solo job?" Padre asked the 100.000 Eddies question.
Fewer people mean 3 things, more XP, more Eddies, but also a danger for me, I'd have to do the job on my own, fight on my own, and die on my own.
Fortunately, if I take things slowly, and unless Padre fucks me over, I am quite sure I can fight some street thugs without many problems, my current skill levels putting me just above the normal gang member.
" Depends on the job, zero few gonks? Fine by me, clear a building? Maybe next time."
" The job is simple, there have been some fuckers annoying a friend of mine, *scare* them away and the job is done," Padre said, clearly implying killing when he said scare.
" How many people are talking about, gang members? Can it fuck me over?"
" Don't worry, just some new Valentinos that think they can do however they want, no one will care if they are scared away, they usually hand around Lizzie's bar, ask for them around there."

'God? May have a few questions for him.' I thought while going to my room to change to my Merc gear, only to be surprised by another notification.

I immediately equipped it and started downloading a tutorial for stealth, after gaining the skill for Sneaking and having equipped all of my Merc outfit, the same jacket I had bought with my first job money, a random shirt, a pair of jeans, a mask to cover the lower area of my face, sneakers, and my gun holsters, one on the side of my torso for the pistol, and the other hid under the jacket, pressing against my back ready to be used if needed.
" Mama, I will be gone for a while, don't worry about me, tell Jackie I will give me some drinks next time I meet him." I wrote on a piece of paper, then soon after left from the back of the bar, ready to head to Lizzie's bar, the place that made everything start to go wrong in the game.

'Still as bright as I remembered.' I thought while taking a look at the azure insignia spelling Lizzie's.
Standing right in front of the door was a random Mox, with the implants signifying she was a joy toy, with red short hair, and clothes that shouldn't be called as such.
After I started walking towards the entrance, the Mox baseball bat blocked my path.
" Sorry kid, no one under 18 can have fun in here." She with a voice modified from a voice changer to sound more soothing and sweet, not doing a great job of hiding the poison behind each word.
" I am not here to have fun, I just want to ask some questions," I said while staring at the Mox's ever-changing eyes.
" I can answer your questions if you want Baby." She said while moving her bat to point at my dick.
" Have you heard the names..." I then elected her to the list of the names of the Valentinos who were causing troubles that I had received from Padre.
" And what if I know, why should I tell you?"
" Because I don't think you want to know how it feels to have a bat up your ass."

After a few seconds of silence, she brought her bat to her shoulder, but said nothing, soon after I received the answers I needed with a message from an unknown number.

While I read the message she had sent me, she grabbed my chin and brought my face loose to hers.
" Next you come here and ask for Lix, we will see how you can repay me." She smoothly said near my ear, her hand moving from my chest and heading for my lower area.
Gamer's mind stopped me from fucking her right there and there, and instead, I remove her hand from my chin.
" Thanks, will do," I said while turning around to head for Garcia's, the leader of the group I am going to kill, house.
"Bye-bye, Baby." She said while waving her hand, her very visible boobs going left and right due to the exaggerated body movements.
'We must stay focused brother, hoes are momentary, the grind is constant.' I jokingly thought.
Thanks to Lix's information I arrived at Garcia's house a few minutes later, and even from outside I could hear Mexican music blasting from his apartment.
'It's 8 PM, I'll wait for them to go to sleep and then go inside.' I thought while getting inside a random cafeteria to pass the time.
It took longer then I hoped, I even had to pay 5 eddies to get something like a coffee so that the owner didn't throw me out, but finally the music stopped and they went to sleep, and seeing how the quest hadn't failed, and no one had gone outside, it meant that all 8 were still inside the house.
' It's time.'
