1 Chapter 1

My life wasn't interesting at all. I was a 22 year old college dropout who just worked a part time job to live day to day. It was always a struggle.

Ohh I was also an orphan. I did get adopted but my adoptive parents were way too abusive. So I ran away from home.

And they never even tried to contact me again. I also didn't care about them anymore. I also didn't have any girlfriends or any kind of relationships. I did like a girl in my highschool but I didn't pursue her .

I don't really have any grand dreams. I just want to have a peaceful and comfortable life.

And just survive honestly.

But I did like video games. Yes, I was a mad gamer or at least that is what I like to call myself. I never really played any games except on some computer cafe.

I was too poor too afford any gaming console.

But still in order to satisfy myself, I watched various gameplay videos on youtube. The more I watched them, the more I wanted to play them. So I made a goal in my boring life.

I wanted to buy and play all of the games in the world.

So I worked really hard. I even starved to save money and finally I bought the newest gaming console. It was one of my happiest days.

I bought the gaming console and I took a bus to go to my dormitory that I lived. I was very excited.

In the bus I saw someone familiar. It was my crush from highschool. She was very beautifully dressed and with her was a boy. They were talking and giggling like a happy couple.

I watched the smiling face of the girl I liked. I thought it would hurt me a little but it didn't at all. I was too fed up with my struggling life to even consider having the thoughts of love and things like that.

Anyway I ignored the couple and was thinking of which games should I play. There is this new remake of Resident evil that came out. Also there was the new God of war. But I should play the old versions first.

I also wanted to try Call of duty series. Or maybe some RPG type games would be best. I like every games but because I watched gameplays, I like a good storyline on games.

As I was in my thoughts of games that I would play, suddenly there was a loud bang and a huge creaking sound. *Baam*

The bus just hit something. I couldn't see anything because I hit my head on the ceiling of the bus. My vision was blurry but I still tried to focus and saw the scene I would never forget.

There was blood and gore everywhere.

Some people lost their limbs, some were bleeding and some were unconscious. I even saw the my crush was laying on the floor.

Her leg was twisted at an angle which it shouldn't be. There was no blood but I am pretty sure she was in a lot of pain. I saw her boyfriend who had a large cut on his left arm but was relatively fine.

Among everyone in the bus myself and him were the only one who suffered the less damage. But before anything else I heard a shout from the bus drivers seat.

"Everyone get out. It's about to blow up."

I looked at his direction and I saw something worse. The bus had a direct impact with a oil tanker which was leaking heavily. And to make it worse there was a few sparks coming out from the front of the bus. The oil was also slowly coming towards the sparks.

This was very bad as only a spark of flame would burn and blow up everything around us.

I didn't know what to do in this situation. I stumbled back and my legs hit the gaming console which was surprisingly fine.

I didn't think of anything else and picked it up and was ready to jump out the window. But for some unknown reason I looked at the girl who I once had a simple crush. She was screaming for help and her boyfriend who was relatively fine just jumped out the window.

That bastard didn't even care about his girlfriend. The girl also looked devastated at her boyfriends betrayal. She was crying but I didn't know if was due to pain for her broken leg or her boyfriends betrayal.

I looked at her miserable state and gritted my teeth. Then I did something that even I didn't know why I did it. I put down the gaming console and got close to her. She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

I helped her out and supported her up. I carried her and slowly put her out of the window. She didn't even looked back and started to move away from the bus.

So ungrateful. But I didn't care. I went to my gaming console but when I wanted to take it. I saw another woman who was carrying a small baby. She was knocked out and the baby was somehow not crying like any normal babies would do.

I walked close to her and woke her up. She saw around us and was panicking. But she soon stopped and looked at her baby who was still not crying. I mean if I was a baby in this was a situation, I would have created a tsunami of tears.

Anyway, I helped her get out of the bus along with the weird baby. Then I again went to pick up my gaming console but a cry of help came from a seat in front of me. I walked close to see a old couple. The old woman was crying while the old man was passed out. So I helped them again.

I went back to the gaming console and again I heard a cry of help. I saw a teenage boy whose hand jammed between a seat. I walked closer and freed his hand. He thanked me and went out.

I again went to my gaming console and this time there was no cry of help but I saw the people in front of me. A few were unfortunate who were beyond saving but there was some that just passed out. I sighed and put down my console. Then I helped as much as I could and almost all the people went out.

After seeing that almost all the people that could be saved are out. I also wanted to go out. I picked up my gaming console and went out the window. And was finally free from this bad experience.

But the life had more plans for me. I started to run away from the scene of accident as it could explode at any time. But I forgot I was still on a road and *baam*

I was hit by another truck and I found myself in a pool of my own blood. I saw the gaming console which was still intact somehow. My vision slowly faded away as my only goal in life was incompleted and I died with regret on my eyes.
