[POV Oberyn Martell]

I like how this boy expresses himself; I will take him as an apprentice. Having someone to train will keep me from being bored every day.

"You can leave," I tell the guard.

"Yes, my Lord," he responds, leaving the gardens.

"My Lord, I have something important to tell you," Lancel says with a serious expression.

"Go on," I say, curious to hear what he has to say.

"I had a vision of your sister being killed along with her children on Tywin Lannister's orders," the boy tells me. I immediately become angry and place my spear near his neck.

[POV Lancel]

<Mission to rescue Elia Martell from King's Landing. Host is given options on how do it: 1) Solo, 2) with someone trusted, and 3) convince Doran send his army.> The system said in my mind.

'The last option is obviously out, so I'm left with just two options. The first is very risky, so I have to convince Oberyn any way I can,' I thought.

"I know you won't believe me right now, but when news of the battle at the Trident comes, as well as the defeat and death of Prince Rhaegar, you must accompany me to King's Landing. If this does not happen, you can kill me at any time," I said and waited for his choice.

"I don't believe you, kid. Besides, what do you gain by going to save my sister?" Oberyn said, frowning and still keeping the spear close to my throat.

"Your help, even if you don't believe me. There will be a war in which we all must participate, and I will need you to help me on the battlefield," I say with a serious look.

"I'll wait for the news, but if it's a lie, you'll have a horrible death," Oberyn said, removing the spear from my throat.

[Third-person POV]

Five days after Lancel arrived at Sunspear, the battle at the Trident between the forces allied with Prince Rhaegar and his commanders (Prince Lewyn Martell, Ser Barristan Selmy, and Ser Jonothor Darry) and the rebel forces led by Robert Baratheon and his commanders (Lord Eddard Stark, Lord Jon Arryn, and Lord Hoster Tully) was about to take place.

Before the battle, it could be seen that the rebel forces consisted of 35,000 soldiers, while the allied forces formed an army of 40,000 soldiers. Orders could be heard being shouted, as well as words of encouragement for their soldiers.

The battle was about to begin, and the two armies were facing each other at the Green Fork of the Trident.

Prince Lewyn led the Dornish army to attack the left flank of the rebel forces, while Ser Lyn Corbray took his father's sword (Lady Forlorn), who was wounded, and led the charge against the Dornish, destroying their formation. During his charge, Ser Lyn Corbray encountered Prince Lewyn Martell, who was already wounded. In the battle, Ser Lyn Corbray ended up killing Prince Lewyn.

In another part of the battle, Ser Barristan Selmy fought like a lion among a flock of sheep, as he was the reaper in combat, while Ser Jonothor Darry was killed in combat. Meanwhile, Robert Baratheon engaged in single combat with Prince Rhaegar Targaryen. Robert Baratheon wielded a huge spiked mace and wore a helmet with antlers, while Rhaegar wore his black armor with rubies on the breastplate depicting a three-headed dragon. During the fight, Lord Robert was wounded in the side, but his strength was so tremendous and his thirst for revenge so deep that he struck a blow with his mace to Prince Rhaegar's chest and killed him with a single blow. The rubies on Prince Rhaegar's breastplate came loose and scattered in the river's water.

With the leader's death, the royal army began to retreat without any order. News of the outcome of this battle would soon spread throughout the kingdom of Westeros.

After the battle, only one man was left wounded on the battlefield: Ser Barristan Selmy, surrounded by rebel forces. He was wounded and taken captive. After the battle, everyone saw why Ser Barristan was named "The Bold."

With Robert Baratheon wounded, Lord Eddard Stark marched with the bulk of the army toward King's Landing, while Lord Robert followed behind with a portion of the army. Elsewhere, Tywin Lannister, upon learning the outcome of the Battle of the Trident, marched swiftly toward King's Landing.

In King's Landing, King Aerys II Targaryen, after learning of Rhaegar's death and his soldiers' defeat, sent his pregnant wife and son, Viserys, to Dragonstone, while he kept Elia Martell and her children captive so that the Dornish would not betray him.

[POV Oberyn]

Upon learning about the Battle of the Trident, I immediately believe what the boy said, so I set out to find him so that we can go to King's Landing.

"Boy, we will leave tonight. My brother forbade me from leaving Sunspear, so you will wait for me at the dock. Take these ten gold coins and buy passage to King's Landing on the fastest ship they have," I tell my apprentice.

"Agreed, but if you don't arrive before ten, I will leave alone," my apprentice says, not accepting a no for an answer.

"So be it, boy," I say, handing him a sack of gold coins.

At nightfall, I lock myself in with my daughters and tell them that I will be gone for a while. I tie a rope to the window and slide down it. Lancel told me to prepare everything in case I had to escape from the castle to go to King's Landing.

When I reach the port, I see Lancel anxiously waiting for me.

"We must hurry, or we will be late for the rescue," my apprentice says before boarding. We board immediately and set sail for King's Landing. I hope my mistrust is not something I will regret in the future if my sister and her children are killed by the Lannisters in King's Landing.
