(Lancel POV)

The leader of the group approaches and asks for our names.

"First introduce yourself, then I'll answer you" I tell him, because I'm intrigued who this savage is

"I'm Jarl" he tells us "Tell me your names"

"Ser Arthur, Prince Oberyn and I Lancel" I tell him our names

"Come with me" Jarl tells us leading the way

Then he guide the way through the different shops there. As we follow him, I watch how the Free People live here. Most of us stare at us as we pass, the path leads us to a cleared area, in which there is a circle made of stones

"First you have to fight here if you want to see the King" Jarl tells us, then he calls three wildlings and one enters the circle

"Ser Arthur, you have to fight him, and beat him" I tell him and he looks at me with doubts

"why?" Ser Arthur asks me with a frown.

"Because of their customs, we have to defeat a warrior each" I reply with a smile

Ser Arthur enters the circle and draws his new Valyrian steel sword, it is almost identical to Dawn's form, but with less shine. The savage carries in his hands a bronze-tipped spear. The savage is quick with his thrusts, but Ser Arthur doesn't seem to mind the fight, effortlessly deflecting each attack with the tip of his sword.

To quickly end the combat, Ser Arthur blocks the spear with his sword and approaches the savage, kicking him in the abdomen, he falls to the ground and Ser Arthur places his sword on the savage's neck.

"Next" Jarl tells another savage with a frown.

"I go first Master" I say to Oberyn, stopping his steps towards the circle.

"You or me, it won't make a difference" Oberyn tells me with a sadistic smile

"I hope you don't kill him during the fight, because we would be surrounded here" I tell him looking around me

"Go then, I'll calm down first" Oberyn tells me returning to his position

Entering the circle, the savage puts down the spear and takes two blades in his hands. When I see this, I know immediately that he will fight near me, so I can think of how to win the fight quickly

The savage, seeing that I didn't draw my sword, approaches me stabbing, I just dodge in circles, then parry a stab with the Valyrian steel piece of my glove, I take his wrist and twist it causing him to drop the blade, with his left hand tries to stab my left arm, so I pull on his arm and with my right hand deflect his stab against his right arm, causing the blade to go through his arm

The savage was bandaged with rags, after drinking and pouring beer on his wound

"Ops... I spent" I say to Oberyn when leaving the circle, since he looks at me with a raised eyebrow

"You think?" Oberyn asks me with obvious sarcasm in his voice.

Oberyn enters the circle, and waits for his opponent. The savage enters with a serious look, carrying a short axe. Oberyn takes his spear, and in their first exchange, puts his spear to his opponent's neck.

"That was too easy" I tell him when he comes back to my side

"What did you expect? If there are no dangerous battles it will be a boring trip" Oberyn tells me shaking his head

"They need training" Ser Arthur says to Oberyn and looks at the wildlings

"Let's go" Jarl tells us leading us to a large shop in the center of all the shops and shacks of the Free Folk

Entering the store I see a large man with long thin legs, broad chest and shoulders. His hair, completely gray. He has laugh lines at the corners of his lips. Wearing a black ringmail and leather pants, as well as a black wool cape with red cloth patches

Next to him is a woman with cinnamon-colored skin, blonde hair and a bearing of wisdom in her eyes, sitting near her is a very beautiful woman with blonde hair, this woman is wearing a braid over one shoulder. she has pale gray eyes with high, sharp cheekbones. She is slender with a full bust.

Among those present we see a short individual, with his armor, which is made of loosely bound bones that resonate when he walks. He wears a giant's broken skull as a helmet. At his side is a tall man without ears, he is equipped with bronze armor.

In the store is a man with a long white beard and a wide face with red cheeks. In his hand he holds a horn of mead. He wears bracelets on both arms, they are old gold, solid and heavy, engraved with the ancient runes of the First Men.

"Are you Ser Arthur Dayne?" Mance asks me seeing my sword

"You're wrong, it's him" I say pointing to Ser Arthur

"That's why I thought you were too young to be" he tells me laughing, "What do the warriors of Westeros want in my lands?" Mance asks us curiously

"We are here to get to know these lands, we will not spend much time here" I reply him

"That's what everyone says, then they stab you in the back" Tormund says letting out a loud laugh

"You have to kill them" magnar Styr says with a menacing look

"Shut up" Mance tells them, "Since you won, you can stay a few days, find your own shops, don't bother my people" he orders the three of us

"So we will" I say him with a serious look

"Who is that man?" Val asks Mance pointing to Ser Arthur

"Ser Arthur, the best warrior of the Westeros" Mance answers, Val hearing this stares at him with a shine in his eyes, Jarl, seeing this, frowns and looks angrily at Ser Arthur

"I want to fight him" Tormund says to Mance, who only looks at him for a moment and then shakes his head.

"Give orders so that they have a store for themselves, it is better to know where they stay" Dalla tells Mance

"My wife is wise, so i'll do it like this" Mance tells her with a cheerful smile

Then he sends for a savage and orders him to give us lodging in his tent. When we leave the store, I explain to both of them the conversation we had.

The savage who guides us is the same one we found at the entrance of the village

"I'm Halleck" he tells us on the way. We enter his store and see the boy who asks who we are when we arrive

"I'm Harl" the boy tells us leading us near the campfire

"I'm Lancel, this you see here is Oberyn, a real sadist and this is Ser Arthur, one of the best warriors" I say to the boy in the Old Tongue

"Why is he sadistic?" Harl asks me confused by the word with which I describe Oberyn

"He likes to see the suffering of others, as well as the blood" I say looking at Oberyn

"Are you talking bad about me?" Oberyn asks me with a frown.

"No, I'm just telling him that you're the best spearman in history" I reply him

"I don't believe you" Oberyn tells me with a frown, I look away

"We must learn the Old Tongue" Ser Arthur tells him, not understanding anything he talked about with Harl

"Yeah then I'll know what he said" Oberyn tells him looking at me

"Where do they come from?" Harl asks me curiously

"From a shitty place, where it's very hot, luckily I live near the sea and at night you see a thousand stars in the sky" I answer looking at the campfire with only a little meat on it

"It's very cold here, and my father has a hard time finding what to feed us" Harl tells me, taking the meat out of the fire. Then he takes it to Halleck, who breaks it into pieces and gives them to his wife and son, for his part he gives the three of us a small piece of meat and brings us beer

"Let's drink, I don't give you more food because I don't have any" Halleck tells us taking a drink

"Let's go hunting" I say to Halleck standing up, he stares at me confused, but he gets up and takes his bow, and motions for me to follow him. I tell Oberyn and Ser Arthur to stay, I'll be back in a bit

In the snow, following Halleck, I activate my spiritual sense, and I can't find anything to hunt, after an hour, with my spiritual sense, I notice a moose 100 meters away, near a frozen lake, I immediately signal it Halleck to follow me, 40 meters away, Halleck looks at the huge moose, kicking the frozen lake, then nocks an arrow on his bow and shoots straight at the moose's neck. The animal starts to run, but after 200 meters it bleeds to death, Halleck and I take the moose by the antlers and drag it to the village

Three hours later, we arrive tired, the savages help us load and butcher the animal, then Halleck brings a part of the animal with us to his store

Immediately Halleck puts more wood on the fire, and his wife prepares the meat to roast, I pass him a little salt that I had in my pockets. After the meat was done roasting, we feasted on it, and they kept some of it in the snow with a piece of cloth wrapped
