3 Chapter 3

I finally managed to create a safe zone for myself. It's incredible the undead won't even come near the building, this ability of mine explained that if I turn any place into a safe zone no undead would attack it or come near it except for people.

Also, only a place with less damage and good fortification can be a safe zone. In other words, I can't simply turn any place into a safe zone. That thought doesn't disturb me at all besides it would make things less challenging for me

. For now, I should decide what skills to choose with my 2 skill points. I need something useful for a fight and also something that would allow me to scavenge for goods.

So I choose these skills, first 'Evasion' this skill would allow me to evade any attack it would become easy to kill those undeads if I am untouchable besides they might turn me into one of them after a bite or scratch.

The second skill was ' Vision' having strong eyesight to look from afar and being able to find things would allow me to scavenge goods.

The next morning, everything was still the same. I actually wish this was a dream cause I get to live in a nightmare. I used my vision to locate supplies food, water, medicine, and other goods even clothes. I also put multiple containers on the roof to get rainwater. I had food for around 3 months now.

After that I looked into the gamer store, it had everything I would need for myself also it had insane weapons like Thor's hammer, the armor of Hercules, boots of Hermes, Zeus lightning bolt, the staff of son Goku, and also other cool weapons but the problem was they cost a fortune 50 million dollars for that hammer and every other weapon was over 10 million. Since they were S-grade weapons they were powerful and expensive.

I decided to buy an F-ranked spear a common spear it was the cheapest weapon I could buy for now.

I also noticed my own rank F class. I could get my rank higher if I pass over level 20 and in order to reach S rank my level should be max a 100. Only then I can wield S rank gear. I looked at my stats every RPG player has stats qualities written in number or letter.Attack-F,Defense-F,Speed-F,Stamina-F,and Magic-F,HP:1000,MP:1000.I noticed that I could actually use magic. Actual magic like magic in fantasy using mana and stuff.

" This so cool I can actually become a wizard or sorcerer".

This is turning out to be even better than I thought. But in order to use magic, I need to buy books from the store and they cost around 10000 dollars or G points each. And those are only low-level spells high-level spells cost even more.

So for now I should start hunting those vile beings to make myself stronger. Leveling up, getting higher ranks, new skills, and strong weapons so now my goal. I will do whatever it takes to reach Max's level and survive this apocalypse.

The next day I geared up I wore my leather jacket, cargo pants, and boots. I sewed some leather pieces on my jacket and pants so the zombie's teeth won't reach my skin but I have a feeling its durability won't last long. It had one 1 point defense and 1 point durability. After touching items I could look into the stats of objects as well. But after sewing some hard leather onto the pants and jacket both defense and durability points increased by 2 points.

I grabbed my knife and spear. I loaded my gun, I had bought 5 magazines and 9mm bullets from the shop for at least 200 G points. The spear had cost me 300 G points and I also purchased a silencer for the gun that cost 500 g points. I already spend like 1000 G points and had 500 left now.

But it was all worth it now I can kill those ravenous freaks silently. I went out of the building my first step was to hunt them indoors because the streets would attract more of them if I kill them out in the open.

Our block had 4 apartment buildings so I thought I should turn the other 3 into safe zones and also scavenge some goods while at it. I had to move silently without being detected it's best if I avoid them. I made it to the other building from the back door since the front entrance was filled with them. And now I am going to slay every undead I find in this building.

Now first I am going to use my senses to detect them in the building. There is around 23 undead in this building now that's a lot but I have to deal with it for now.

I pulled out my gun then the gamer screen popped up " QUEST ALERT" I got a quest. The quest was to eliminate 100 undead with a knife and the reward was 100000 G points, XP points, and an E-ranked knife. My current knife was ranked F with attack level 10 and durability 10. I wonder how powerful an E-rank knife would be. I accepted the quest. It was going to be difficult but it's a good thing my master and grandfather taught me how to fight with a knife.
