26 Slaughter

While I was eating the food, I heard a loud voice from outside.

"This is a declaration of war from the Great Baharuth Empire. Your Village will serve as a message to The Re-Estize kingdom to never mess with the Great Baharuth Empire." Shouted someone.

It seems the fun is about to begin.

Hearing the loud voice Maria and her husband started panicking and quickly rushed outside to check the situation. They are the leaders of this village afterall. They have the responsibility to save it if they can.

I also got up and went to check out the situation.

Outside, I saw a big group of soldiers wearing armour with the symbol of Baharuth Empire.

I Know they aren't from the Baharuth Empire.

They are from the Slane Theocracy. A religious country that follows The Six Great 'Gods'.

A religious country that thinks it's okay to start a war between two countries that will kill thousands of innocents, since it's for the 'greater good'.

I wouldn't mind it if it truly brought peace. I am okay with 'greater good' kind of actions if it truly makes the world a better place.

But it was just an excuse to make their own country stronger. No matter how much they preach about the greatness of their gods and talk about peace, they are just a bunch of greedy old bastards.

They have no desire for peace.

I know eternal peace is not something possible. Atleast not with my power level.

So I think a few centuries of peace is just great.

My actions in the old world will also bring peace for a century or two.

I alone brought 100+ years of peace, no matter how bad my actions might be considered.

After a century or two, the world will probably turn back to its old chaotic self. But they just have to deal with it.

During this temporary time of peace, whether they make some weapon that can cause more destruction than Neuclear bombs, or they cure cancer, or they create a solution to every problem in their world, it's up to them. I gave that world a chance.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand, the one in the lead finished his speech and ordered his men to start the attack.

The villagers were already running in panic. The soldiers ran after them and started slaughtering them.

Atleast they wanted to. For some unknown reason their swords crumbled into dust before they could kill even a single villager.

A very strange phenomenon indeed. XD

Seeing the strange event, the Leader of the group of soldiers got confused. He tried to use his own sword, but even his sword crumbled into dust.

"What is happening? Why did all of our swords crumble into dust? Who's black magic is this? Appear before me you coward." Shouted the idiot.

"Wow man, you are calling me coward when you are the one's who attacked a village full of unarmed civilians." I said and came forward.

"You all are heretics. You all deserve to die. There's nothing cowardly in following god's will." Announced the enemy leader proudly.

"Heretics? Gods Will? Why are you talking like people of Slane Theocracy when you are wearing armour of Baharuth Empire?" I asked. Idiot couldn't even keep up the act properly.

"Wh-What nonsense are you spouting? I am Obviously from the Great Baharuth Empire. And stop your nonsense and give up your life." Shouted the leader once again.

"And why would I surrender?" I asked.

"You used your black magic just now, Heretic. You are obviously low on mana. So it's better for you to not show any resistance." Spoke the idiot confidently.

"Yeah, give up your miserable life commoner. I can't wait anymore. I want to enjoy some girls tonight." Shouted a random soldier.

I looked towards him, and I could identify that idiot. He was the one who was screaming about rewarding gold coins to whoever saved him from the Death knight in the anime.

He should be a noble. And I can bet he joined the army just so he could rape girls.

Hearing his comment about raping girls, my anger exploded.

For some reason I always hated rape more than any other crime. Well, it's probably because I had a little sister. And just thought the thought of my sister getting raped made me explode with rage.

And then I calmed down. Gamer's mind.

I wanted to kill him right now but I thought better. He deserves Nazarick treatment. I will just destroy his limbs for now.

And within an instant I was before him. Before he could even react, I already had cut off his hands.

Seeing me, he got shocked, but then he felt a sudden burst of pain.

He looked down to see his hands were missing.

Scared and in extreme pain, he tried to get away, but instead just fell down. The reason? His legs were also missing now.

The noble pig started to scream in pain while everybody else just watched in shock.

After a few seconds, the leader finally got himself together and looked towards me in fear. He looked pretty pale.

"Everyone attack together. We can still defeat that monster if we attack together. FOR THE GODS!" Screamed the leader.

"FOR THE GODS!" The other soldiers screamed as well. They then took out their secondary weapons and rushed towards me.

"So I am a Monster? Then let me show you what a monster does to weak little humans like you." Saying that I used one of the most gruesome spells available to me.

{Melt Skin}

As the spell was an AOE, it affected almost half of the enemies.

As soon as the spell touched them, they started screaming as loud as they could. Slowly all of their skin started to melt and fell of their bodies.

The sight of all these skinless humans screening on the ground was a horrifying sight.

"Now who's the monster?" I asked. I can be very petty sometimes.

Seeing their comrade's situation, the other soldiers lost their morale and started to run away.

Seeing them running away in fear, I started doing some target practice.

I used Ice knives to aim at the running soldiers heads. And every shot was a headshot. Nice.

I let one escape so that he can inform the sunlight scripture about me. They will probably gather to try to take me out in an ambush.

And I wanted just that. Why waste time to find them all when they will come to me themselves.

Now to take care of the skinless humans, I used a fire spell to burn them to ash.

'After killing so many people brutally, I didn't even flinch. Is my Yggdrasil race effecting my mentality? Wasn't Gamer's mind supposed to stop that?'

[No Adrian, your Yggdrasil race isn't effecting you at all. Gamer's mind is doing it's job perfectly.]

'Then why wasn't I effected at all by all these deaths? Is it because of Gamer's mind?'

[It's partially because of Gamer's Mind and partially because you were always like this.]

'What you mean by that?'

[By that I mean you were always ready to kill a person. You were a little psychopathic in your last life.]

'No I was not. I was a totally normal Human. In what way was I a phycho?'

[You were ready to kill people at age 14.]

'No I was not.'

[Yes you were. After watching a video about how a guy's life got ruined because a girl fake accused him of rape. He spent years in jail and later when the girl admitted that the accusation was fake, the guy got released. The guy never got any job after coming out of jail and later took his own life. But the girl didn't suffer any consequences of fakely accusing him and later for his suicide. Seeing that video you said you will kill a girl if she fakely accused you of rape. And you actually meant that.]

'But that's a fair exchange. A ruined life equals a dead life. She ruins my life, I take her life.'

[And that's considered as the thoughts of a psychopath. But I agree with you. It's a fair exchange.]

Anyway back to the Village. After I killed all of the enemies, the villagers started to come out of their hiding spots.

They were all watching the battle from the start.

In their eyes I could see the extreme amount of fear they felt for me. But there was also happiness and gratitude in their eyes.

Even though I am scary, I still saved their lives.

The Old lady Maria, along with her husband, came forward.

"Thank you for saving us all Sir Arthur Krenim." Said the old lady.

Arthur Krenim. That's the Alias I chose. Arthur is a pretty famous name. But the word Krenim is just another random word I thought of. My name sounds pretty cool though.

"I thank you for saving the whole village Sir Krenim. We don't know what would have happened without you." Said the village chief.

"No need to thank me. I just saved the village as a thanks for the good hospitality you have shown me. And they pissed me off as well. Now you all should retreat inside your house. There is another group of enemies gathering outside the village. I will take care of them." After saying that I started going towards the other enemies.

But I should not forget about the limbless guy. I opened a gate to a cell inside the Frozen prison in Nazarick 5th floor and threw him inside.

And then started going towards the position of sunlight scripture.
