Banished

3rd Person POV :

In the Throne Room of The Re Estize kingdom, a meeting was going on. It was attended by people of the Highest Authority and Political Power in the Kingdom.

And unlike what people would expect from people of such high status, the meeting was like a market. Everyone was shouting.

There was a huge argument between various people in the meeting. All shouting at each other, talking about their opinion or mocking someone else's opinion.

And this kind of scene was not rare in this Throne Room. It happened in almost every meeting.

The People in the Throne room are divided into two groups, the Royal Faction and the Noble Faction.

Both factions are pretty similar in power and are always in a fight against each other.

Right now an Argument was about a Noble from the Noble Faction killing a guy in his own house midday.

The reason for the murder? The poor guy couldn't pay the taxes in time.

The noble has an unreasonable amount of taxes in his region and those who don't pay on time get punished heavily.

Incident like these are pretty common. This incident is just an excuse for them to curse at each other.

Most of them don't care about any commoners. They only care about money and reputation.

"Count Detkrom can't be so unreasonable. To kill an innocent just because he's late to pay his taxes by one day. How Outrageous!" Screamed a Noble from the Royal Faction.

"Yeah, the people of your faction are all brutes. How can you think that to be an appropriate solution?!" Screamed another.

"Oh, you shouldn't be the one talking about this, Viscount Arhento, I heard what you did last month. You killed a guy just cause he argued against you about something. Aren't you the real brute here?" Asked a guy from the Noble Faction.

"Don't spout lies, you greedy snake. You destroyed a whole merchant's buisness because he refused to give you his wares for free. You are the biggest brute here." Shouted another guy from the Royal Faction.

"You are the biggest scumbag here. From what I heard, you raped a young girl infront of her own parents just last week." Accused a Guy from the Noble Faction.

"Lies. Those are just lies spread by your faction of Pigs. I did no such thing." The Guy accused of rape defended himself.

"Don't lie in front of the King, Sir Krava. There were multiple witnesses of the incident. You can't call yourself a man after doing such things." Said a pale skinny guy from The Noble Faction.

"As if you are one to talk, Count Vartruk. I heard rumours about your preference. Aren't you infatuated with young boy's? I heard you buy dozens of young orphan boys every month and take them to your home. But they are never seen outside ever again." Said another guy from the Royal Faction.

"I just give those young boys a home to belong to. They just like it so much that they never go out again." Said Count Vartruk with a smirk.

"You lying snake bastard. You should..." As the Guy was about to say something, he was interrupted.

"SILENCE!" Shouted the king and the whole Throne room went silent.

"I have heard enough for today. I think this will..." As the King was speaking, he was interrupted by a loud shout.

"Knock-Knock Motherfucker!" Came a loud Shout as the Door of the throne room went flying towards the King.

Within a second of the sudden event, the Warrior Chief Gazef Stronoff ran forward and stood before the king in a defensive position and deflected the door.

"Pretty good reaction time there, Mr Warrior Chief. Good job." Came the voice from the Person that just kicked the door out of its Hinges.

And surprise surprise, It was the MC of the Story, Adrian Val Radruga. Or Arthur Krenim in his current persona.

"Sir Arthur, what is the meaning of this? Are you trying to kill the King?" Asked the Warrior chief with an angry frown.

The others present in the room also had various reaction. Some were still shocked at what happened. Some were angry just like Gazef, and some were disappointed that the King actually didn't die.

"Nah,It was just an accident. I didn't intend for the door to go straight towards the King. I might have accidentally used a little too much force in the kick." Explained Arthur.

"And for exactly what reason have you come here if not to attack the King?" Asked Gazef.

"I have come to kill someone else, actually. And my target is Marquis Boullope. His free trial of life is over." Said Arthur as he turned his head towards his actual target and started at him. Arthur's eyes glowed a little as he stared at Boullope.

Seeing the stare Boullope got scared as he fell backwards. His supporters started going crazy after hearing what Arthur Said.

"Don't get so scared by just a stare, Boullope. Are you suprised to see me here? Were you not expecting to see me alive anymore? Expecting for your Assassination attempt to work?" Asked Arthur with a menacing smile.

"What assassination? Stop spouting bullshit. I didn't do anything. And how dare you almost harm the King and talk about harming me? Guard's Kill him. Gazef Stronoff, kill him. Why are you just standing there?" Shouted Boullope.

The Guards were about to move but the King interrupted them.

"Cough, Cough, Cough...Stop it. Sir Arthur, What do you mean by Assassination attempt? Is that true Marquis Boullope?" Asked the King while Coughing.

"Obviously it's true. Why would I lie? I was ambushed by his people while I was on my way back from a Mission." Said Arthur.

"Lies. You damn commoner, you are finally showing your true colours. You are doing this for money, aren't you? You won't get a single gold coin out of me." Said Boullope as he tried defending himself with a shitty lie.

"Say whatever you want, Boullope. You are dying today. You won't go out of this room alive. And your money won't be coming to save you." Said Arthur as he started slowly walking towards Boullope.

"Sir Arthur, please stop and first explain the matter completely. Maybe we can talk about a peaceful solution where no one has to die." Suggested Gazef.

"Yeah, Gazef is right. Cough, Cough. We should find a peaceful solution. Marquis Boullope is a very important person of our Kingdom. We can't let you kill him." Said the king while Coughing heavily.

"Well, I don't care if he's an important person for the Kingdom or not. He Blackmailed Red Drop into assassinating me. So his lifeline is over." Said Arthur.

"Blackmailed Red Drop? How and why? Let's sit down somewhere and talk peacefully. You can explain the matter properly and we can find a solution to your problem." Requested Gazef hoping for this to not turn into a fight. He wasn't confidant about fighting against Arthur.

"No more explanation. You can ask Red Drop themselves. No more time to waste." Replied Arthur.

"And where do you think you are going Boullope? Didn't I say you won't be going out of this room alive? Come here!" Said Arthur as he turned around.

Boullope was trying to escape quietly while the King, Gazef and Arthur were talking. He tried to take advantage of Arthur getting distracted.

But he couldn't escape the senses of Arthur. Arthur turned towards Boullope and put his hands forward in a gripping manner.

And as a result Boullope came flying towards Arthur as his neck entered the tight grip of Arthur.

"Please don't do this, Sir Arthur. We can find a better solution." Screamed Gazef as he ran towards Arthur in hopes of saving Boullope.

The other guards were also trying. But no one could even go near Arthur and Boullope as everyone was blocked by an invisible Wall.

"Cough, St-stop it. Please! Cough, Cough." Requested the King as his coughing started to get worse from the stress.

But Arthur didn't listen as he chocked Boullope in front of everyone. Everyone could only look as Boullope slowly lost his life.

After killing Boullope, Arthur created a Black portal and threw the body through it.

"My job here is done. I will be going." Said Arthur as he started to go away.

"You have killed an important person of the Kingdom and caused a lot of harm for the Kingdom as a result. You will face punishment for the crime. You are hereby Banished from the Re-Estize Kingdom." Said the King without coughing this time. Only for him to start coughing violently afterwards.

'Why does he keep Coughing so much? Does he have Covid 19 or something? Or maybe he's just too old.' Thought Arthur.

'Check Health' Arthur silently used a spell to check the King's health. And the results weren't very good.

'He's on the verge of death. Can't really say how much longer he will live for. But it won't be more than 2 months. I could save him, but why would I? He's no use to me. He has lived a pretty disappointing life and it's now time for it to be over.' Thought Arthur.

"You still think I was the one at fault? And cause harm to the Kingdom by killing him? Isn't it the opposite? Whatever. I will go away from your falling Kingdom if you want. I was about to go explore the Other countries anyway." Said Arthur as he exited the Throne Room.

As soon as he exited the Room, a huge commotion started. Everyone started to talk about what happened.

Many were happy, many were Angry. The Royal Faction was Happy because a Powerful enemy was now dead.

While the Noble Faction was angry at losing their leader. But none of them dared to show this anger when Arthur was still in this room.

Some were scared that they might be next to die. Some people were relieved to hear about Arthur getting banished.

But no one was sad for Boullope. People like Boullope have no one that would grieve their death.

"That's enough for today. The Meeting ends here." Announced the King.

Hearing this everyone started to go away. All going back to their own home, probably to make plans about how they can take advantage of Boullope's death.

After a minute, only the King and Warrior Chief were left in the throne room.

"Do you think I did the right thing by Banishing Sir Arthur?" Ramposa asked Gazef with a sigh.

"I don't know if that was the right decision or not, only time will tell. But I will always be there with you to face the consequences. " Replied Gazef seriously.

"Thanks for always supporting me, Gazef. Now let's go and have a nice dinner. Maybe it will help forget about this stressful day." Hearing him Ramposa smiled and then got up from his throne.

"As you wish, My King." Said Gazef as they both exited the throne room as well.
