Weapon, training, potential murder of a cat

Ninja Tools Roll.

This is the name of the weapon shop I am currently standing in front of. Right now I was looking for a simple katana or a ninjato. I didn't know what was I looking for. I have no experience in both my lives with weapons and was merely hoping that my stolen Uzumaki body will have talent in swords as I read in those fanfics. 'Let's just put some faith in my luck.'

Walking in I was greeted by a middle-aged man wearing a grey kimono, he had brown hair, brown eyes, and was limping in his left foot. "How may I help you?" He asked me, not minding my gaze. "I would like to buy a sword, and it would be great if you could help..." I answer him with a small smile. Hearing my request he smiles a little too and walks towards where the swords were displayed.

"Do you have any idea of what you want?" he asks not sure of my preference. Thinking a bit I answer "I wish for the blade to be around 60-70cm long, not heavy, nothing colorful, and I would like it if it wouldn't be thick. (A/N: I do not know shit about swords and I am a lazy dipshit so I am not going to check answers on the internet.) "He hums a little hearing my answer and takes out a black katana with no ornaments, but even without it, it looked gorgeous. "Here, try holding it.

I take it from his hands and try to hold it in a 'battle' position, and it felt nice, not knowing what to say about it, just hoping my face shows excitement about the weapon to the owner, I tell him "I'll take it."

Hearing my words he shows a smile and says "30k Ryo."

It has been officially a week since I got my memories back, during this time, not once did I touch the sword and it was sitting in my inventory all this time. Why? Because I didn't know what to do or how to train with it. Today after training a bit I will go to do some D-rank missions. Even if I don't want to, I have to in order to become a chunin later, plus after it, I will go to the ninja library to find something about sword training, and maybe a sword style.

'Lightning Release: Spider Web' I scream in my mind. Dog → Dragon → Rat → Ram.

I finish the hand seals and put my hand on the ground creating a spider-like web around me on the ground.

Cutting the technique off I slopped down from exhaustion and breath heavily trying to control it, and failing. The technique I just did was another one that I learned from my father's belongings, luckily for me, we had the same chakra natures.

"Let's finish training and let's do some chores." I finish with a sigh and started walking towards the Hokage tower.

Couple of minutes later I was standing before the office of the Hokage and knocked on the door while doing so I became nervous, maybe it is stupid, but I was about to meet the Hokage, even if he's old, the mf survived two wars for a reason.

"Come in." hearing his words I slowly walk in and greet the Hokage with a bow.

"Good day, Hokage-sama. My name is Ren Fukumoto, I am from the genin corp, and I wish to get a D-rank mission." I introduce myself to the Hokage and quickly state why am I here, because I just want to get out, maybe if I grow a bigger pair of balls, I will be a little more relaxed, but now I will be a statue.

Seeing me so tense, the Hokage chuckles a bit, he has seen this scene a thousand times, and hands me a quick summary of my 'mission'. Seeing this I thank him and walk off.

"Hmmm, he has quite the large chakra amount for a genin, that's interesting... I do wonder, why doesn't have a team? With that much chakra, a bit of discipline, and help from a superior, he could even reach for a jounin..." He talks to himself, but by now I am completely gone and getting ready for my missions, painting the fence and a wall.

It is around 8 pm now, I did my chore, and now I am coming back from another one which took 3 hours.

"it seems that you completed your mission Ren." says the 3rd while looking at me with a smile. At this, my eyebrows twitch a little but I proceed with being a polite little shit and hand over Tora, yes that fucking demon, to a ninja that was ready to pick the fucker up and give it to that crazy lady.

"Do you wish to get anot-" before he finishes his sentence I answer him "No please Hokage-sama, I wish to go to the library to check something out, have a good night." I finish and leave.

I was pissed off at him, if I ever get that mission again I will fucking create Tsukuyomi and torture the cat because I am angry that he gave me a scratch right under my eye, it will heal, but damn it stung.

Anyways, walking into the library I ask the lady where can I find information about swords and if there are any fighting styles of swords and hand-to-hand combat.

In the end, I chose to get two martial art styles.

The strong Fist is the martial arts the Maito Guy use, the purpose is to cause external damage and break bones. It is the exact opposite of Gentle Fist which is used mainly by the Hyūga Clan. This style of fighting involves smashing your opponent and is generally used only by extremely physically powerful and dominating shinobi.

I asked why is this here, apparently everyone can learn it, but only those selected by the Hokage can use get permission to learn the 8 gates technique. Most people drop out of learning this fighting style because of the mental and physical drain you get from it, but once you master it, I believe it could be pretty good.

And a sword style called Swifts sword- which opposite to the strong fist uses quick, precise, sharp movements that focus on speed. There are little 'special' moves, but it is a very good fighting style that will match my lighting nature.
