Mining and Exploring

Looking at Tyranel falling asleep without stopping checking the movements of the mana in him, Pearl was amazed.

'Normally someone would only be able to divide it in pieces, while some geniuses could do it up to 3. Even I could only do 4, however, I took weeks of meditation, had a way better control of mana and used more types of energy to do it.'

Smiling while thinking she made a good choice, Pearl slowly knelt at his side and took his head on her lap.

-20 Minutes Later-

Opening his eyes while feeling a soft and warm feeling below his head, he is met with the sight of Pearl reading a book while softly caressing his head with her free hand.

''You woke up pretty fast, normally people take around 1 hour at minimum.''

Smiling at him, while waiting for his reaction, Pearl couldn't help but twitch her lips.

''5 more minutes.''

Saying that while closing his eyes and hugging her waist, Tyranel immediately fell asleep again.

Simply sighing and going back to reading her book, she decided to let him sleep more.

Now with Tyranel already awake, he decided to test his new skill before going to his Challenges.

Moving over to another small hill with trees around, he took out both his pickaxe and ax.

Lifting both of them with his Telekinesis, he moved each tool to their respective spots.

Concentrating he tried to use his skill to 'open' a different thought process for each tool.

He had no idea how to do it, however, as soon as he tried it was as if his instincts guided him to do it almost perfectly.

Hitting the cube on the grid with his pickaxe and the tree with the ax, he could feel that although he now could do both of them easily, it was a bit weaker than when he did it directly.

''Well, good enough for now.''

Satisfied with the results, Tyranel decides to take this chance and continue training it before he goes to his challenge.

Keeping his 2 of his 'minds' focused on their tasks, he moves over to a Green Slime hopping in the distance.

The slime, seeing him getting closer, immediately started skipping in his direction.

Seeing the slime, Tyranel decides to use his Telekinesis on a living being for the first time.

Using it to lift the slime, he was successful with a lot of effort. Understanding that affecting living beings with his Telekinesis takes way more effort.

Moving the slime closer to himself, he released it and let it attack him.

Feeling the impact from the slime, he only got pushed back a little, however, the damage was easily ignorable.

Grabbing the slime, he could feel that it was very light, less than 5kg. While with his strength, he could lift around 100kg easily.

His Telekinesis could lift around 50kg without any difficulty but because the slime was a living being he could hardly lift it.

Hugging the slime with all his strength, he easily crushed the slime to death and got 4 Gels and a new crafting notification.

Gel is an item dropped by slimes that can be used for some small crafting, with the most important one being Torches.

Crafting things is not necessary to be on a Work Bench. It can be at Anvils, Furnaces, Altars and there are also many other secondary crafting places.

Moving further in the same direction, he finds a small cave leading to deep underground.

Deciding to take this chance, he goes back to the tools, take the drops and stores it all. Going back to the cave, he immediately goes down the hole. Finding some small pots in it, he breaks them all and gets Ropes, Silver coins and some shurikens.

Crafting Torches with all his gels, he takes them in hand and can see that the grid appears. Placing the torch on the wall, he can also see that the torch doesn't produce any smoke.

Moving his hand on top of the torch without much fear since he knows he has a good fire resistance, he is surprised to see that there's no heat at all, The torch only lights up the place and that is all.

Going down the cave, it became hard to go further as it was a very deep hole without any place he can hold on to go down.

Taking out the ropes from his inventory, he places a piece of it on the edge. Seeing it firmly stuck in place, he continues placing ropes on the same grid, increasing the length of the rope till it reaches a good enough range to go down.

Creating a fireball with a bit of mana, he threw it down to see if there are any dangers. Not finding anything, he goes down with the help of the rope.

Placing torches around as soon as he touched the ground, he was surprised to find something similar to a wooden house. Moving over to it, he searched for the entrance to the door, however, it was barred by rocks.

Not willing to take the time to dig it, he jumped to the roof of the house and found a part of it that was different from the surrounding wood.

Recognizing it as a Wood Platform, he moved over to it and tried to find a way to get down through it. While trying, he moved his feet a bit while thinking about going down through it and his body simply phased through it and he entered the house.

Looking around, he found a heart statue and a Golden Chest. Breaking the statue with his pickaxe and storing it in his inventory, he opened the chest.

Inside the chest, he found a mirror, 3 Dynamites, a bottle with a cloud in it and a some-more silver coins, health potions and a spelunker potion.

Storing everything in his inventory and also taking away the chest, he tried jumping back through the wood platform, succeeding, he continued exploring around while killing the random slimes and bats that appeared in his way using spells.

Finding some iron and copper ores around, he mined them with his telekinesis while paying attention to his surroundings. When suddenly a skeleton in miner clothes popped out of the dark and dashed in his direction.

Seeing the skeleton, Tyranel wasn't fazed at all, it was slow and didn't carry any weapons. Taking out his {Light's Bane} and slashing the skeleton he could easily rip off its arm.

Although the {Light's Bane} isn't strong enough to deal enough damage to kill it instantly, with enough strength on the slash and aiming at a good place...

*SLASH*

The skeleton's head immediately fell off before it could attack again.

''I should get some sword training done later.''

Saying this to no one in particular, Tyranel stored the ores and moved deeper.

Finding a red Crystal in the format of a heart surrounded by slimes, bats and even giant worms, Tyranel understood it was a Life Crystal.

Life Crystals are one of the few items that you can use to increase your HP in Terraria. Each of them can increase the HP of the player by 20 with a limit of 15 uses. It also has some recipes that you need to use them.

'I don't know how they will affect me but I'm not willing to lose this chance.'

Thinking this, he sent dozens of Soul Arrows and Fireballs, instantly killing all slimes and bats and driving the worms away.

Jumping over to the Crystal, he broke it with his pickaxe and returned to the surface by using the mirror he got on the chest.
