1 Question 1 - Do you believe in a happy ending?

"This is all your doing, why I'm held accountable from your fault," I whisper while hugging my knees and looking at a streak of light.

My pupil narrowing in this lack of illumination. I hate sitting in the darkness but this unpleasant existence now hiding me from them. I approach that source of light while holding back my breath, my body tense looking outside from a small hole.

'Both of them here,' my inaudible scream ringing in my head, my heart beats faster, and cold sweats flows like a river.

They open every door searching for me, soon they will find me here, hiding. After that, I will be held accountable for a sin that I never did.

Where is the fairness in the world? Where is the justice for the weak? It's just illusions given by the strong.

After a while, I can't hold my breath anymore and breath in. However, I choked by dust around me and coughing. It's quite loud and makes my pursuer alerted.

'Oh god, why did you do this,' I cried lamenting my pitiful life.

That person finally opens the door after hearing no answer from me. Bad luck for me, I really in that room. Both of us silent when our eyes meet, however, the silence soon broken by the third party.

"Big brother, why are you hiding from us," a small figure rush toward me and then hugging me with a little tear in her eyes.

This small little angel is my little sister. I make a sheepish smile after hearing her question, laugh awkwardly and says, "I just want to try hide and seek once a while, Rin."

I see her still sulking then say, "I'm sorry for broke your doll, I will buy you a new teddy bear."

Her eyes immediately sparkle when hearing my words and say, "Really brother? You're the best."

Ah, looking at her happy expression make everything worth it.

"If you like this from the star, then we won't waste our time to search you," sound of the devil resounding in my ears.

It's the voice of my another sister, Yan. She isn't the devil, but maybe a close relative. She's the one who broke Rin's doll but then makes a false accusation towards me.

After hearing her sound, I look at her eyes. When our eyes meet again, she averted her eyes and moving her mouth as if whistling. I slightly taller than her so all of it seen quite clearly. Stop it, I know you can't, your brother now embarrassed too.

I can't bear looking at her pitiable appearance and persuade them to go to the market. There, we will search for a new teddy bear for Rin.

After arriving in the local market, we walk around looking for Rin's new doll and window shopping, looking if there something I want for myself. In two hours finally, we finish visiting all the store here, I know bringing girls shopping is a mistake.

Besides buying Rin's new doll, I forced by Yan to buy a shiny cheap necklace for her. When I remember she the reason why Rin's doll broke, I nearly quarreling with her.

However, when seeing her puppy eyes, I yield and buy her the more expensive one. After that, I see she doing yeah sign with her hand. Oi, I still can see you.

After buying a necklace for Yan, I reminded by Yan that still forgot something, so we go to the cake store and buying some for my mother. All of them look delicious, but my mother already has a favorite, so we buy one kind but with different flavors.

I make sure there nothing I forgotten and then bring them home. Yan still looking and stroking her necklace and Rin still hugging her new teddy bear. Today is a good day, even if I got falsely accused, looking at their smile right now is a pleasure.

Walking towards home in the evening, and chatting with my families about random things like this is a blessing for me. The happiness I never got before.

Compared to my previous life, this life is like a heaven for me. Where I feel the family warmth and have people whom I can trust. So, as a reincarnator, I will try my best to protect this life, their life, and our happiness.

Finally, we arrive in front of our home. Time passed without I realized, most of them because of my banter with Yan. Rin, on the other hand, stays quiet when watching our banters. We open the door and saying our greeting to mother together.

"We're already home mom."

From the workroom, a woman voice heard by us, replying our greeting, "Vys, Yan, and Rin. Welcome home."

Ah, why people never realize, happiness comes from a simple thing like this.
