2 The King's Madness

I had started noticing that someone was changing in my family tensions between my maddening father and Rhaegar were rising, although only physically half a year old, I was limited by the lack of my ability to properly walk and move around. Thankfully, Rhaegar seemed to know that I was curious about things. Likely understanding that I was no simple baby.

He was smarter, smarter than people his age, a boy of barely 8 and 10 barely an adult by my world's standards, but he had a capable mind. Although he is old enough to be my father, he thinks of me as a friend.

He knows that I am capable of understanding him and other people, over the last few months, him and I have developed a bond.

After his busy day, he would visit me during night and talk to me about his day, how he was and what he was worried about. I slightly nodded or shook my head when he asked me things. Seemingly to relive the stress and tension of being an heir and a future king.

He was the major source of information I had during this time. I will make sure that he survives in the future, he is more important to me than any other person in this new life, more than the king, more than the guards protecting me every hour of the day and more important than my mother in this life.

If he were to leak my secret, I would likely be disowned or hunted by assassin's for being a "Witch kid" in the future.

I could crawl as wall as walk perfectly now at the age of just 8 months old, but couldn't run. I was preparing myself to be stronger and faster in the future since childhood my doing knee pushups and supported squats.

I looked out of my window again to find "Blake", The white raven. He had grown up over the past few months, being only slightly smaller than the average raven, I suspected him to be around 10 to 15 months in age since I had observed the Raven keeps in the Castle once with Rhaegar, a raven his size would be around 17 months but from the rate and speed of his growth and also being a wild raven, he would also be larger than a normal messenger raven.

He has set up a nest above my window, he seemed to like me for some reason. Ravens in this world are said to be as smart as dogs considering that they can send messages. They are the symbol of wisdom and knowledge after all.

*Creak*

The door opened slightly as a person walked in, the guards protecting me tensed up upon seeing their king. The "Turning Mad, king Aerys". He was in a killing spree of cripples, after killing the first one, I had seen the look on his face when he killed the second one, using wildfyre, in his hall just three months after I was born.

He went on a cripple killing spree after that, most likely thinking of getting rid of the "Broken" from the face of the earth. I couldn't help but snicker as he came up to me and picked me up.

He looked at me with a crazed smile. Fucking god's what's with that smile, is he intending on killing his newborn? This fucker is beyond mad.

He brought me out of my room as the kings guards protecting me could only look as the one they are meant to be protecting taken away.

My father carried me through the halls of the castle, the kings guards following him around. A crowd soon gathered around him, wondering where the king was taking his newborn.

He took me to the throne room, the large throne stood mightyly, the swords on it having sharp edges which could easily kill a person, it's steps were made of the same bent swords.

I looked at the dragon skills atop the walls and at the side of the throne, Balerion the black dread. They watched as my father with me in hand, ascended the throne.

The mad king slowly walked the metal steps of the throne, until finally sitting in the throne, with me in his hands.

"You! Bring the Wildfyre." He ordered.

He ordered his servants to bring wildfyre. Probably intending on killing his newborn, or perhaps sacrificing him.

I was terrified, the mad smile plastered on the mad king's face. He was chucking to himself. I was sweating profusely as he held on to me harshly.

Is he thinking of me as a cripple? Has he gone senile? I couldn't help but think, could the king not see the difference between a cripple who couldn't move or walk and a newborn who was not strong enough to walk?

Two men, binded in ropes were pushed to the front. I couldn't recognise either one of them but one was missing a hand and the other was lying on the ground, probably paralyzed from the waist down.

Both of them were screaming and begging for forgiveness for crimes they didn't do. Admist the screams of forgiveness, the servents had brought the Wildfyre and spilled it all over the two, a crowd had gathered to watch thd cripples burnt by the king.

Their gossips were silenced by the screams of the cripples. I couldn't help but feel sorry for them, for it was the king's command but a part of me felt glad that it was not me who was tied up and covered in the Wildfyre.

As the worry from my heart started disappearing. I looked at the mad king, Vowing to kill the man myself if I ever got the chance.

The servant handed the king the torch as he said to me.

"Watch, Watch my son, watch as I burn these shit-stains from the face of this world. Hahahaha." The mad king said to me as I watched in terror and fear as the fire engulfed the poor men, their screams and pleas echoing in the large halls.

The skulls of the 19 Targereyan dragons seemed to look at the burning men, flesh soon turned to ash and bones. To mine and the crowd's horrors.

"Hahahaha."

"HAHAHAHA."

The laugh of the Mad king echoed through the silent halls halls as I made a vow to kill him, fuck Jamie Lannister, I'll do it myself.
