But Victor didn't want the world to know that he could produce such a powerful drug in large numbers for a relatively low price. This would make the Di Natale family the focus of the world's attention and honestly give them too much power of the upcoming war. The decision to sell those drugs to either side would not only improve their strength a lot but also cause devastating psychological pressure to the side without the drug.

Just imagine being a soldier in the era of cold weapons where you have to always be vary to not get any cuts or you might die after the battle, having to fight against soldiers full of battle spirit that don't care about small injuries because a wonderous drug is waiting for them when they come back from fighting.

This disparity in battle spirit can easily turn around wars and provide extremely large advantages. Any ruler or warlord would need to control this drug before a large outbreak of war.

Victor was aware that the free folk of Westeros and the slaves of Essos would never be his customer group for things like Penicillin, which meant there was no need to introduce Penicillin in large amounts right now.

Victor planned another way to 'sell' Penicillin, a way that didn't quite exist like this in Westeros but was very often used in his last life. He wanted to create something like a private member's club in the world of Ice and Fire. He had a club of his previous life in mind when this idea came up.

The Athenaeum is a private members' club in London, founded in 1824. The nearly 2,000 members are drawn from a wide range of professional worlds including literature and the arts, education, business, law, medicine and healthcare, public service, politics, science, architecture, engineering, and technology.

Members could visit the club to exchange ideas, to read or research, to listen to talks by leading experts in their field or to meet friends or colleagues over lunch or dinner. They also come to enjoy concerts, talks, quizzes, and films.

Victor was once part of this club as a leader of his field, chemistry. This club was also used as a large network and interest group. Building such a place in the world of Ice and Fire would put the Di Natale family in a whole different position.

They wouldn't need to rule over a large piece of land or become a political party, they could influence all kinds of people by controlling the private club Athenaeum. As most wealthy or famous people would want to join this exclusive club for the various drugs this would increase the influence of House Di Natale a lot, without causing too much fear for the ruler of Westeros.

After presenting this idea pretty much all the family members and guardians agreed with Victor, but they didn't know where to place this club. It needed privacy and should be reachable without facing too many dangers and a long distance.

Placing it in Lys wouldn't be quite suitable for the nobles of Westeros, as there might be many older nobles that needed those medical drugs or would want to participate in the events. After some thought Victors grandfather came up with a good idea.

He suggested using the island Dustspear to build a resort. After conquering the island, it was not of much use as the island was too small to place an industrial chain there and to close to the mainland and Dorne to place something important and secretive. Using it as a base for the Athenaeum club would be quite suitable.

If the older nobles didn't want to use a boat for large distances, they could travel by land to Dorne and use the boat for the small distance between the mainland and Dustspear. This would assure reasonable privacy and secrecy without the need of too much time on sea. If you didn't want to travel Dorne you could still, make a trip to Storm's End or another port in the Stormlands and the distance would still be quite reasonable.

This would solve many problems and the island of Dustspear would not be wasted and could be put into reasonable use. After the whole family agreed on this proposal the building of a private club house was put into place. Victor decided to include his old partners again.

The Maar family was responsible for building the luxurious clubhouse and the infrastructure, the Ormollen family would take care of the courtesans and the entertainment programs and the Nahohr family took care of the luxurious boots that would be needed for the transport of club members. This time Victor didn't include the Rogare and the Sathmantes family as he didn't want them to grow too big and powerful by profiting from the connections of the Athenaeum club.

The club house would and the infrastructure on the island would probably take 2-3 months to be build up. This would allow Victor enough time to perfect the laboratory on the Veiled Island and stock up enough Penicillin for the use. During this time, they could start the marketing of Penicillin as some sort of wondrous drug that the Di Natale family developed at extremely large cost and that was very rare.

Simply using the drug to cure some family friends or important nobles of Westeros would be enough to make it known through the Known World, as the circle of nobles was very well connected, and such an information would travel very quickly. Victor also had the idea to prevent a smaller quantity as a gift for the wedding of Elia Martell and Rhaegar Targaryen. The celebrity effect of such a wedding would make this wondrous drug known throughout the whole of Westeros in no time at all.

But Victor decided to send the drug to Dorne first, to make sure nothing would go wrong with his in-laws. This drug might even be able to be of some help for Oberyn's mother. Victor noticed her bad health during his stay at Sunspear and a slight cold or fever might be enough to kill her. Having Penicillin for an emergency might be enough to save her life in a critical moment.
