11 Chapter 11: Departure

Sunspear was a beautiful city, especially at night. It was no New York, but the city was lit up with candles that made it quite pleasant to be in.

Riding through the streets, Will noticed how many places were just beginning to open, and he found it a little weird that most of them conducted their business throughout the night, but he knew it was because it was just far too hot during the day.

As beautiful as the city was, the palace was something else entirely. Will still had no idea how the fuck people built things like this in this day and age, but however they did it must have required some highly skilled crafters and some jacked up people.

Riding through the gates of the palace, Will was greeted by a group of servants and a small group of guards, but none of them appeared to be hostile. Regardless of knowing there was probably no threat from any of these people, Will still kept his magic sense active around him, though to keep it on for longer periods the range had to be shortened to reduce the mana consumption. He was just that untrusting of a person.

'Think of everyone as a potential threat, and you'll never be surprised when they try to stab you in the back.' Will thought, remembering the words from a friend who quoted those exact words, literally right after he tried to stab him in the back. Will didn't make his end quick or painless, ripping out his spine one bone at a time with vice grips, all the while telling the guy how he dealt with those who would stab him in the back.

It wasn't long before Will was led into a room with a fairly long table where Elia, Oberyn, Doran, and Ellaria were seated. Upon his arrival into the room, everyone but Elia stood from their seats to greet him, even Doran, though he did have to work for it.

"I really dislike noble customs. I have no intention of standing every time someone enters a room to make them feel special, so I really hope you all don't get upset about it." Will said, taking the open seat next to Elia.

Rather than seem surprised, Will saw Doran, Oberyn, and Ellaria each give Elia a small pouch that had the familiar clinking of coins.

"What was that about?" Will asked, looking to Elia for an answer. "I bet Doran and Ellaria you wouldn't care for the show of respect nobles give each other, and I bet Oberyn what you would say. I'm proud to say I got it word for word!" Elia said, making Will roll his eyes at her.

"It was hardly a guess when I literally said the exact same thing to you a few years ago." Will said, causing the others in the room to narrow their eyes at Elia, feeling a little bit cheated at the news that she already knew what he was going to say. Stifling her laughter, Elia pocketed the pouches of gold before signaling the start of the meal.

Throughout the meal, Elia told stories about the last few years she had spent in the North, while Oberyn and Doran told her and Will about some of the things they had missed over the last few years in the Seven Kingdoms.

They talked about the two exiled Targaryen children, Viserys and Daenerys, which was a sore subject for Elia. Queen Rhaella had always been kind to her, despite the tortures she went through by her husband, the mad king. Even when the city was about to be sieged, Queen Rhaella had wanted to take her with them to Dragonstone, but was ultimately forced to leave without her by the mad bastard.

"I imagine Daenerys looks like Queen Rhaella, and Viserys like his older brother Rhaegar." Elia said with a sad smile on her face, thinking about her ex husband.

"I would like to help them someday, if I ever encounter them. Despite everything that's happened, they are still family. Even Layanna's child is a half sibling to Aegon and Rhaenys, and I know they've talked about meeting him a few times." Elia said, making Doran and Oberyn almost choke on their food.

""WHAT?!!"" Both of them asked, not believing what they had heard. Will then told them about how Rhaegar never kidnapped Layanna Stark, instead they had run off and got married. However when Rhaegar died, he left a pregnant Layanna behind, and upon giving birth to the child had passed away, though not before making her brother, Ned Stark promise to take care of him.

"I always thought it strange that a man like Ned Stark would cheat on his wife, even if he was at war at the time!" Doran said, rubbing his jaw at the thought.

"So he claimed the boy as his bastard to keep him safe from Robert.... He's a better man than I thought." Oberyn said, quite intrigued about the whole thing.

None of them would speak anything about this outside of this room, knowing full well it could lead to the child's death, and none of them saw the child guilty for the sin's of his parents. Not even Oberyn, and his hatred for Rhaegar was second only to Robert Baratheon's.

Eventually they got to the real point of the whole dinner. "Can you heal me?" Doran asked, letting out a deep nervous breath. Will was actually surprised he had managed to hold out this long without asking, but he knew it was coming.

"I can't guarantee anything, but give me a few minutes." Will said, wiping his mouth and hands with a napkin. Standing up from his seat, Will walked over to where Doran sat, then placed a hand upon his shoulder.

Out of nowhere, water seemed to pool from thin air around Will's hand and onto Doran, though it moved as if it had a mind of it's own, as well as glowing in a slightly blue manor. Magic sense combined with water magic to scan inside the body was something Will had only ever done twice, though not because it was hard.

It was so mentally draining to try and differentiate the muscle tissue, fat, bones, blood, organs, and other things like the joints that Will hated doing it. Plus he was by no means a doctor or skilled medical professional, but he had experimented on more people then he cared to admit.

He knew the human body inside and out, how it was supposed to work, where everything was supposed to go, and how it operated, but he didn't know about many medicines, diseases and other illnesses. Torturing people didn't really help you learn that sort of thing.

Thankfully his magic seemed to account for a few of his shortcomings, as all he had to do was direct it at whatever it was he wanted fixed, and his magic would do the rest. The intent of what he wanted done was a very important thing, something he had to struggle to figure out.

He found he couldn't just run the magic through his body and it would heal everything wrong with it, he had to will certain things to happen, have the magic for it, and control the magic to go wherever it was he desired it to go.

Scanning Doran's body, Will found a few places with the same sickness Elia had, though a bit more severe, and an extreme case of Gout, a form of inflammatory arthritis. For almost 15 minutes, Will stood there like a statue with his eyes closed, but eventually he removed his hand and opened his eyes.

"It's quite a bit worse than Elia's, with some additional problems, but I think it should be manageable. Might hurt for a few minutes, but it wouldn't last very long. I think it would take about an hour or two, maybe three depending on how things go, but by the end of it you should be in tip top shape." Will said, getting smiles all around.

"When can we start?!" Doran asked excitedly, not wanting to wait any further. "In about 20 minutes. You're gonna want to be laying down, and I'll need some boiling water to disinfect my knife. We're also going to need absolute quiet, so we'll find a small room and have Oberyn make sure no one enters until I'm done." Will said, walking back to his seat before he made a cauldron appear, then filled it full of water.

Everyone watched as he stuck his finger in it, then a few seconds later the water started to let off a little steam before it turned into a boil. Removing his finger, Will pulled one of his Valyrian steel daggers from thin air before placing it into the large pot.

"So where are we going?" Will asked, looking up from the pot to look at each person, only to see three of them looking at him like he did the impossible, while the fourth person looked at him with a kind smile.

Will had to snap his fingers in the air to break them out of their dazed states, at which point Doran and Oberyn led him down a few hallways and to a small room with a tiny bed in it, barely big enough to fit a grown man on.

Will placed the cauldron with his dagger in it on the floor, then pulled the bed into the middle of the room. He might need to get on every side of Doran, so this was important. The last thing he did was place five barrels of spring water that he had already boiled and let cool on the floor.

"Alright! Now that everything is ready, lay down and we'll get started. Also, make sure to keep your eyes closed until I say it's okay to open them." Will said, gesturing to the bed. Oberyn helped the now completely naked Doran onto the bed, then left the room to guard the door.

He and Doran might not be the closest of brothers, but they cared and respected each other deeply, and Oberyn wouldn't allow anyone to interfere with the operation. As soon as Oberyn was out of the room, Will used the water from one of the barrels to envelope Doran's whole body, save for his nose and mouth.

Already knowing where to look, Will channeled his magic there, seemingly pushing the infected area where he wanted it to go. Grabbing his dagger, Will used it's razor sharp blade to make a small cut on the right leg near where he gathered the infection, then pushed reddish black blobs out of it.

Will made sure to wash away the gross substance from Doran's body, then incinerated it. Moving onto the left leg, Will did the same thing, removing any piece of infection, then onto the arms and back up near the neck.

It took almost 2 hours to rid Doran's body of the infection, then Will used the water magic to sooth the muscles, strengthen the bones, revitalize the cells, and heal any of the skin that needed it. By the end of it, Doran looked almost a decade younger. Even his hair was slightly darker than it had been before.

"Done!" Will said, taking a step back from the table. Before Doran could do anything, Will walked over to the door and signaled Oberyn, as well as Elia and Ellaria who had also been waiting outside, into the room.

They watched as Doran opened his eyes and tried moving his limbs. "I- I feel... incredible!" Doran said in disbelief. He swung his legs off the bed, then slowly put his weight on them until he was standing all on his own. Doran began to walk around, and he did so with the speed and agility of a man in his prime!

"Doran!" Elia cried, running into his arms, letting the man carry her whole weight for the first time in their lives. "You almost look as young and handsome as me!" Oberyn said, handing Doran a robe to cover his naked body, not that he or any members of the Martell family cared about that sort of thing.

Even Aegon and Rhaenys didn't care about being butt ass naked in front of each other or the general populace, no doubt getting it from their mother's side of the family.

Doran thanked Will about a thousand times, but he didn't really care after the first time. Doran celebrated his newfound youth by running up and down the halls like an excited little kid, moving like he always dreamed he could.

"I guess I'm going to have to train you how to use that body properly!" Oberyn stated, laughing at his older brother's antics. They all drank and laughed together that night, though Will drank orange juice rather than wine. Will went to sleep that night in one of the guest rooms, thinking about what information he could get from Dorne before he set sail once again.

--------------------------

(Time Skip)

Will ended up staying in Dorne for quite a bit longer than he intended, and before he knew it, six months came and went in the blink of an eye. In that time, Will got the basic training regimen for spears from Oberyn, and the man even wrote out a few advanced techniques, though he practically pleaded to teach him his own techniques in person.

Will also went through the library, finding a number of books that caught his fancy. Doran was so thankful for Will having healed him, he let Will have any number of books from the library that caught his eye. Most of them were on healing remedies, poisons, long lost magics, tales from the first men, and other books on various subjects.

Will got a few lessons on poisons from Oberyn, although they had to be short enough that the man wouldn't try anything sexual, and that by itself wasn't easy. Aegon and Rhaenys didn't get moved into the palace after the month like they planned, although it wasn't because they didn't know all the training they required.

They had chosen to act ignorant on a few things, thus suspending their move for an additional two weeks, at which point Will had caught on to their plan, and was going to leave anyway, but ended up staying a bit longer due to constant begging and pleading from the two of them.

For almost 7 hours a day, Will was with the two children, telling them stories, teaching them new games, and teaching them small lessons about the world. Oberyn said he would take Aegon as a squire, and Rhaenys could train with them as well, but that was only after she declared that she would beat Will one day to the point where he would have to do anything she wanted. Will laughed at her, agreeing to her request, stating that he wouldn't lose to anyone.

"Are you sure you have everything you need?!" Elia asked, fussing over Will like any mother would as he prepared to set out on his own. "Yup! Got Trojan all loaded up! I have enough food and water to last myself about 200 years or so, and all the clothes I'll need for the next 10 years!" Will answered, almost shaking his head at the fussing.

Elia had got him a number of different sizes of clothes, going all the way up to the point they would fit the Mountain. Will didn't know how tall he would get, but he doubted it would be that big.

Elia had also prepared a few casks of orange juice, apple juice, peach juice, grape juice, and pomegranate juice, knowing Will preferred juices to wine. She even went above and beyond for him, arranging to have some sails created with a giant flaming phoenix on it, letting anyone who saw the thing know right away who he was.

"Do you really need to leave already?!" Aegon asked, looking downcast as he stood on the docks to see Will off. "Yes. I've been here long enough, but I'll be back sooner than you think. Mom said she'd hunt me down if I didn't." Will said, whispering the last part so Elia couldn't hear him.

Looking around him, Will saw Doran, Oberyn and Ellaria standing a short distance away, and he wondered where Rhaenys was. Before he could ask where she had gone off too, Oberyn smiled at him before pointing at the ship.

Looking to where Oberyn indicated, Will saw Rhaenys with her arms wrapped around the ship's railing, holding on for dear life. "What are you doing?" Will asked, looking at her with a smile.

"You're not leaving!!" She started angrily, then stuck her tongue out at him. "We've talked about this for the last six months. I stayed way longer than I intended because of you. Plus It's not like I'm never coming back. Besides, you won't get the present I made you unless you get off the ship." Will said, but even then it didn't seem to be enough to sway the little girl.

"Keep the gift, just stay here!" She said, and it looked like she was going to cry. "If you start crying, I'll take longer to come back!" Will said, which actually did work as she tried her best to not cry. "Why can't we at least come with you?" She asked, finally letting go of the railing.

"Because you aren't strong enough, and I can't keep looking after you every second of the day." He started, then helped her get off the ship. There was a moment where she let out a little sniffle, but no tears.

Finally she said, "What's my present?" Will pulled out a large book titled, 'Princesses' which contained every Disney princess story he could remember from his past life, though how accurate they were was another story altogether.

The drawings in them weren't the same from what he remembered, but they were close enough to pass. He also might have made them a touch bit darker to make them a little more realistic, though he didn't think anyone would mind.

For Aegon, Will got him a book on animal training, hoping the boy would be able to teach Fang a bit better.

Turning to Elia, Will pulled out a small golden heart-shaped locket. Inside on the right piece, Will engraved her name surrounded by Rhaenys, Aegon, and his own name, with a small image of them all holding hands together. There was also a small inscription on the left side that read,

""A mother holds her children's hands for a short while, and their hearts forever""

Reading the inscription, Elia started crying as she knelt down and wrapped him in her embrace. "You make sure to come visit us often, okay?" She said, trying not to wipe her tears on Will's shoulder.

"Okay. I'll come back here after I'm done in Essos." Will said, pulling away from her to look her in the eyes. "I'll miss you!" She said with tears in the corner of her eyes. "I'll miss you too!" He said, stepping away to look at everyone.

"I'll miss you!" Oberyn shouted, marching towards Will with his arms wide open. "Back off!! I'll finally be able to sleep knowing you won't be trying to break into my room!" Will said, putting Elia in front of him to act as a human shield.

"You wound me!!" Oberyn said, letting his arms drop to his sides, though his smile didn't diminish in the slightest. Pulling a small box from a bag at his waist, Oberyn handed it to Will.

"It has an antidote to every poison I can make, so it should come in handy." Oberyn said, smiling broadly at him. Doran then walked over and shook Will's hand, saying, "You will always be welcome in Dorne!"

Will simply nodded to the man as it was Ellaria's turn to say goodbye. He wasn't particularly close to her, but she was super kind. Very horny though, trying a few times to get him into bed with her and Oberyn, though not nearly as forceful.

Her and Doran had spent most of the time Will had been here playing chess and poker, though both preferred chess. Oberyn took to poker like a fish to water, and won almost every game he played. He was so good at bluffing, if Will hadn't already figured out his tells, the man would have been almost impossible to beat.

The time here in Dorne was a good vacation, but Will could no longer stay seated, feeling the urge to go out and explore. It took him longer than he wanted, but eventually he said all of his goodbyes before climbing onto the ship.

"Be sure to take care of Swift!!" He shouted as the ship began to move away from the docks. Everyone waved him off, though it wasn't that long before they could no longer see him because he boosted the speed of the ship with wind and water magic.

"Free at last!! Destination... The Stepstones!" Will said, almost giddy at the thought. Though he had told Elia he would be heading to Essos, that didn't mean he couldn't make a few stops along the way, one of which was the Stepstones, a string of islands ruled by pirates.

Will had plans to capitalize on the ships and treasures just waiting for him to claim there, and now that it was just him traveling, he could afford to be a bit reckless.

It took only a few hours to reach the closest island of the Stepstones where Will found a small town, and from the looks of things it was crawling with pirates. The greeting Will received was one which he expected, which might be why he was smiling like a lunatic regardless of the fact that 3 ships were sailing towards him, while another 30 ships were anchored not much further away.

'Free ships!!' Will thought happily, already mid-dive into the water. Propelling himself at a speed that would put fish to shame, Will created a swirling vortex around him, then launched himself out of the water on a massive pillar of water while the whirlpool remained.

The three ships that had been approaching Will's own ship were now being sucked into the whirlpool, but Will wasn't just going to do nothing and watch. Like a giant serpent bearing down upon its enemies, Will shot down onto the nearest ship, then launched ice spears at anyone he could see.

There was a hell of a lot of screaming and shouting, begging and crying, but Will didn't seem to care about any of it as he mercilessly slaughtered them one and all. When it wasn't ice impaling someone, water would wrap around their bodies and drag them into the ocean, then hold them there until they no longer moved.

"COME ON!! AT LEAST MAKE IT A CHALLENGE FOR ME!!" Will roared aloud, making sure even the people on the further ships could hear him.

His request was met with over a thousand arrows flying towards him, making him let out a dark laugh. 'Armatures!' He thought, raising a shield of water to rise up and intercept the arrows, all of which he gathered and stored in his inventory. They had received no damage upon striking water, so they were still in perfect shape.

Will killed everyone on the two remaining ships, then made water envelop the ships before he stored them into his inventory. From the criminals perspective, the ships had been swallowed by whatever creature the Gods had sent to claim their souls, which might have been what Will was going for, minus the gods' part. Oh how he hated the divine.

Looking towards the 30 ships anchored not too far away, Will noticed how everyone aboard them were rushing to get to land, thinking that would actually save them from him. Not wasting a single moment, Will stole the other ships just as he had done with the first 3, it went a lot faster as there was no one on board any of them.

Looking to the island, Will saw everyone staring in wide-eyed horror at the serpent monster who had just crushed their ships like it was nothing. 'I think they noticed me.' Will thought, seeing a few people pointing at his figure where the serpent's head was supposed to be.

One genius tried his luck and shot an arrow towards Will, yet he swatted it away with a small burst of wind. "That's so pathetic it's not even funny!" Will shouted, answering the arrow with an ice spear, killing the man before anyone had a chance to realize what the fuck was going on.

"WE SURRENDER!!" Someone from the crowd of people shouted, followed by everyone tossing their weapons to the ground. It was a logical thing to do, after all they couldn't even begin to think of a way to combat the monster before them.

Placing himself gently onto the ground about a dozen yards away from the crowd of onlookers, Will brushed the nonexistent dirt off of himself, then let out a small bit of laughter.

"You idiots sure don't have luck on your sides, do ya?" Will said as he walked over to sit on a nearby box.

"Y-You're just a boy!" A man's voice shouted from the crowd, making Will roll his eyes. "And you're even dumber than I thought if you think that means you could ever hope to beat me!!" Will stated, then gestured for the man to come towards him. The man did, even picking his weapon back up off the ground.

*SHUNK!*

There was moment of silence as everyone processed what the fuck just happened. The man who had stepped forward with his weapon was impaled 6 feet off the ground with a giant stone spike sticking through his chest by a good 3 feet.

The stone spike was about 6 inches in diameter, leaving everyone to realize the man was already dead and stood no chance from the beginning.

"Anyone else want to fight me just because I'm a child?" Will asked, still seated on a wooden box. No one made a move, having a pretty good idea that they wouldn't live if they chose to fight this thing before them.

"Good! At least some of you have a little bit of sense! Now onto the topic which will lead to you remaining alive. Who is in charge here?" Will asked with a pleasant smile, though he still wasn't very good at it, as a few people took a few steps away from him.

There was a short wait before a man dressed in all black cloth and leather clothes stepped forward. "I'm in charge." The man said, looking rather calm given the situation.

"Good! Pick 5 of your smartest men, then we'll have a little discussion. You don't do anything stupid, and I'll let you all live, and I might even give you back one of your ships!" Will said, which got the good captain's attention.

While the captain signaled to five specific people to step forward, Will pulled a table and 7 chairs from his inventory, putting them all right there near the box he was sitting on. 6 of the chairs were on one side of the table, while the seventh was on the other side facing the six, which was obviously where Will would sit.

It was only about 10 or so minutes before the Captain guy walked towards the table with his five subordinates, though whether or not they were smart would have to be determined later.

"Now that you are all here, I have a few simple questions." Will said, pulling out a map of the Stepstones, showing all of the numerous islands which made up the archipelago.

"I want to know roughly how many ships and people reside at each island, an estimate on the value of gold there, and which groups are the most ruthless and vile."

The captain guy and his subordinates all shared a look with one another, then looked at Will, wondering why he wanted that information specifically.

Before they could even ask the question however, Will added, "What I plan to do with this information is none of your business, and it would be in your best interest to answer my questions to the best of your ability, otherwise I'm going to make you all wish you were never born!"

For the next hour, the captain and his group told Will all about the remaining islands, and how the further he travelled to Essos, the more ships would be waiting at each island. Apparently the 33 some odd ship fleet was on the smaller side compared to what some of the pirate kings in the Stepstones had, and honestly that tickled Will pink.

There were 5 groups with fleets of a hundred or so ships, but for the most part there were hundreds of smaller fleets ranging from anywhere between 5 to 40 ships. If any pirate besides one of the 5 major groups got more than 50 ships, they would be wiped out and the ships would go to whichever group could claim them.

It had become somewhat of an unspoken rule for pirate captains to not try and build a fleet in the Stepstones. You either started off big somewhere else before coming here, or you bowed your head in the hopes of not pissing someone off until you could stand against them.

Naturally the five pirate kings or whatever they thought they were had the most money, treasures, resources, and slaves, and Will was going to capitalize on all that good stuff.

"Alright! You can have the three ships you sent to try and kill me!" Will said, making those three ships appear in the water next to the docks.

"And remember this! You can sell other pirates into slavery, I don't have a problem with that, but if you raid villages and merchant ships and take slaves, I'll be back to torture everyone of you for a month before I let you all die!" Will said, getting nods from everyone standing around them.

He told them a few other things they should keep in mind, like his house sigil and what not, but for the most part he kept it brief. He wanted them to be able to recognize him in the future, and that it would be in their best interest to not fuck with anyone flying his banners.

"Good! You folks have a lovely day!!" Will shouted before he jumped back into the water before reappearing a few seconds later on his lone ship out in the water. The ship disappeared moments later, and it was only then that everyone let out deep breaths almost at the same time.

"The Drowned God is terrifying!!" One man said after Will was long gone, breaking the silence that had taken hold of the island since Will's destroyed their will to fight back.

----------------

"You should have just listened when I told you to surrender!!" Will shouted angrily as he stood over the corpse of a bulky bald dark skinned man, stomping on the lifeless corpse. This guy had been the leader of the pirate crew in charge of this island.

Will had shown up a few hours earlier, but his welcome was a bit more extreme than the previous island. Catapults and archers fired almost nonstop at him, but he pretty much rendered them useless within the first few seconds.

Running atop the water, Will reached the anchored ships before anyone had time to react, then launched ice spears at every person he could find. People died by the dozens, and many tried to retreat into what appeared to be a fortress, but to Will it was all pointless.

It was hard to even see him at the speed he was going, let alone trying to hit him with something. Everyone outside of the fortress threw down their weapons and knelt to the ground in surrender, keeping their arms raised into the air to make sure Will knew they were no longer a threat.

The people in the fortress however had no intention of surrendering. No matter what he said, they simply mocked him, refusing to leave the confines of the walls. That led to Will tunneling underground and getting inside the walls.

What followed was a bloody massacre where Will ripped them limb from limb, speared them with giant stone spears, and even drowned a few people, which was funny considering there was no water in the fortress.

The man in charge who had refused to surrender to Will tried to attack him when Will entered the room, and when his attack failed he got on his knees and tried to beg for his life. The man was dragged out of the fortress by his feet, at which point Will killed him where everyone still alive could see.

This little battle had lasted a bit longer than the first one had, and there were far more deaths than before as well. Looking over to the kneeling survivors, Will audibly sighed, then walked towards them, though thankfully without floating spears of ice or water around him.

"Who's the next in line to lead you... people?!" Will asked calmly, looking from person to person. People looked between each other and the crowd murmured for almost five minutes before 2 men stood up and walked towards Will.

"We are both the highest ranking survivors." One of them said, the terror he felt showing in his voice.

"Alright then! I don't care if you remain pirates and continue as you have, but there will be some changes! You can rob from whoever you want, but you will not kill or enslave the common folk. Nobles, lords and especially politicians are just fine though!" Will shouted, letting that sink in for a moment.

"The people of Dorne are off limits though! You can go there for trading and to restock your ships, but you cause problems there, you cause problems with me!! I will find you, and I will make what I did here look like a fucking picnic!!"

Everyone, the people kneeling included, simply nodded at this, vowing in their hearts that Dorne would forever be a sacred untouchable place from this day forward.

"And finally!! If you see this insignia, you don't cause problems!!" Will shouted, making a giant image of a giant unique looking bird bathed in fire appear above his head.

"This is my house sigil, and if you cause me problems, there is no place in the world I won't be able to find you! Anyone who attempts to use my sigil for their own gains will be slaughtered to the last man or woman, I don't care!" That seemed to drive the point home that they shouldn't try to fuck with him.

After the new people in charge agreed, Will gave them 5 of their ships back, but also took every slave on the island and gave them their own ships. There were two groups, one sailing for Westeros, while the other sailed for Essos.

Will didn't care what they did now that they were free, knowing they were no longer his problem to deal with. With that done, Will left the island just as quickly as he arrived, thinking to continue his little adventure in the Stepstones.

Over 7 months had passed since Will departed from Dorne, and already he was making a name for himself. Everyone he crossed either died, or became so fearful of the flaming bird that slavery in the Stepstones pretty much stopped entirely.

Will had stopped on a few of the islands, and his fleet of ships was in the hundreds already. He still had yet to go through them and see if there was anything of value on them, but he wasn't really in a big hurry or anything.

He still had a little over 4 million Gold Dragons from when he robbed Tywin and sacked the palace, so until he absolutely needed money, he could wait to go through everything.

The slaves he set free were going back to their homes, and they no doubt would be spreading tales of what he had done, but he didn't care. Not many people would believe such a ridiculous tale, and those that did would have nothing to go off of.

They might try to find answers in Dorne, knowing that place meant something to him, but Will knew they wouldn't find much on him. Also if any army or group tried to march towards Dorne, they most likely died long before Will got there. After all, Dorne had two people who could detect anyone's approach long before they ever got close to the city.

Will figured he had done all he needed to do for now here in the Stepstones one day, so he continued on his way to further northward, deciding to go to Myr again, hopefully to find some other cool items.

The telescopes were too good to pass up, and Will had only made about 15 of them into the spyglass version, but that was already something he found invaluable. He wasn't a Warg like Aegon and Rhaenys, so being able to see extremely far distances was a sweet score. Although he already had hordes of carpet, lace, mirrors, and blankets, Will still wanted more.

It didn't take much time at all to arrive in Myr, where Will traveled for about a week on horseback. Trojan was quite happy to be off the ship for a while, running around for hours at a time whenever Will let him go.

Trojan was so big and muscled, when he challenged another stallion for a few mares, it couldn't even be called a fight. The big black stallion kicked, bit, and stomped the other horse until it ran off, making Trojan the top horse around.

The man who owned the horses wasn't too thrilled about the whole thing, but after Will gave him some gold, he shut up. Will remained in Myr for a week, killing thieves, murderers, rapists and slavers, and did a good deal of his own robbing.

The rich fuckers who ran the city were terrified of the flaming bird which had been burned into their homes, along with a few of the heads of people who tried to cheat Will.

Nothing happened with the slavery deal, but thousands of slaves, mostly women and children up and disappeared on ships across the Narrow Sea to Westeros. They all knew it was because of the house with the flaming bird, but not a single one of them knew the name of the house.

The nobles running the city thought the flaming bird was the sigil of a new guild or something, but either way they wouldn't do anything about it so long as it left them alone. Many tried to find the new order to recruit them into their own groups, but it seemed all for not as no one could find a trace of them, which was more than unsettling given the fact that they had hundreds of spies and whatnot throughout the city.

The week in Myr came to an end, but aside from getting a few additional herbs and spices, Will didn't gain anything he didn't already have. Rather than sail for Pentos, Will chose to ride the same as he had done before, thinking he wasn't in any particular hurry to get anywhere at the moment.

His travel from Myr to Pentos took over a fortnight, although that was still a pretty good time for traveling by land. He ran Trojan for a few hours a day, but he walked most of the time, stopping in a few places to admire the view and talk to a few people he met along the way.

There were a few times he ran across the Dothraki, but aside from having to kill two groups, the others were all pleasant encounters. Upon arriving in Pentos, Will wondered if there was anything of interest here, but didn't worry too much about it as he would find it if it was here.

"Right! Let's see what goodies await us!!" Will spoke aloud, mostly to himself, but he liked to think Trojan was listening in and taking part as well. The horse bobbed his head up and down like he agreed with Will, making the monstrous boy smile at that. 'What a good horse!'
