15 Chapter 15: Walking up on the author's voice

"Is he alright, maester? But why does not he wake up?" Said Cassana since she was still concerned about her boy, who did not make any sound since he came out of her womb.

"He is alright, my lady, and probably sleeping, but how???" Said Jones as he looked at Cassana with questioning eyes.

"Would you believe me if I said it was a god that came and helped me?" Said Cassana with a mocking and solemn expression at the same time. She believed in that young god but would anyone believe her if she said that??

After hearing those words, maester Jones looked at his lady's eyes as he did not expect to hear those words, but he could not find anything else to explain this situation. Although the maesters' faith was the seven, they were not believers since they only believed in what was proven and saw with their own eyes.

"And which god helped you?" Said Jones while smiling at his lady and continued to check the young boy before helping Cassana, who was still bleeding all this time. Although he was joking with Cassana to let her calm down, he remembered what happened to him and the maids outside the chamber just now and could not think of anything else.

"He said that he is the Lord of Darkness, Author." Said Cassana with some passion as if she thought that Jones believed her and continued to describe what happened. Of course, no one believed all that since they could not imagine all that. Maester Jones was the only one who had different thoughts. As a maester, how could he not hear about this faith that Started in Essos? They became a large faith group long ago. The problem was that faith and that lord wanted the world to end, so why would he help their lady.

"Well, my lady. You will need some rest for now with the boy." Said the maester ending Cassana's speech since he saw that she would continue to go on and on for a while if he did not stop her at this point.

Cassana, who had been talking all this time, decided to stop after seeing that no one believed her words in this room. She took her son from the maester after the final check-up. After that, she put him to sleep next to her on the bed. After that, she ordered the maids and the maester to leave the chamber so that she could have some rest.

After the maester and the other maids left the chamber, Cassana glanced at her son beside her with a loving gaze before giving him a little kiss. After that, she rested her head on the billow before drifting into sleep as well. She was too tired and exhausted after everything that happened this evening and needed some rest in order to get some of her energy that she lost while giving birth to her son back. She did not realize that the small thing beside her opened his eyes at the exact moment she closed her eyes to sleep as if it was waiting for her to fell asleep.

Edward or Eddard now, who had just opened his eyes to look at everything around him, was actually awake the whole time since maester, Jones, entered the chamber a little earlier to check on him. He felt a little confused after all this time and decided to wait until all his memories got back before opening his eyes. After his talk with the author during that time, he fell into a coma where he could not feel anything for a lot of time before he managed to see the light not long ago.

Eddard had heard clearly Cassana's speech with the maester and the others. He saw how she was trying to convince them about how benevolent that author was. He could see clearly that his mother worshiped that motherfucker who caused him all this trouble. He could help but get really angry, especially after hearing about the name of the god she mentioned. Although some of his memories were a little fuzzy, and he could not see through all of them at the moment, he remembered most of his talk with this author and knew how cruel he was. Eddard also knew that the author did not like him and wanted nothing more than to make his life difficult.

Eddard knew clearly that that author would save him whether Cassana wanted that or not since he was the one to send him back here. Yeah, Eddard remembered that he got sent to this world once before, but he remembered nothing else after that. He got angry because that author made his appearance in this world in front of Cassana to make her one of his believers to control the young Eddard and fuck his new life up.

'You hear me, you motherfucker author? I wish I could kill you with my hands.' Said Eddard in his mind after he remembered what happened to him. He knew that the author was the reason for everything that happened to him. The gaps in his memory were also his cause. How could Eddard accept something like that?

When he tried to remember the events that were going to happen in this world, he found out that most of the events were fuzzy, and he could not help but shake from anger because that author did not tell him something like that before sending him to this world. His knowledge about this world was what was going to help him. How was he going to go through this world like that?

Eddard did not know that someone was looking at him from another dimension. That person had a cruel smile on his face after hearing Eddard's thoughts and decided to punish Eddard a little, so he whispered something into Cassana's ears in her sleep, making her raise her hand that was around Edward a little before catching his cheeks and pinching them.

Eddard got surprised by Cassana's actions as he did not expect that she would do something like that. He did not know what to do since he did not want to wake her up until he thought everything through. He tried to move his head since this was the only thing a baby could do in this situation but to no avail. Before Eddard could cry to wake Cassana up, he heard the one and only voice that could make him tremble in fear like that.

'You still dare to insult me. You are quite brave, you know?' Said the author directly into Eddard's soul, making him piss himself, literally. Eddard's body was still a baby's one, and it could not stand this shock that could cause even adults to have the same reaction.
