55 Tribe of Pranksters!

Damian had expected a varied gathering of men and women, each with distinctive features—whether large, small, exceptionally beautiful, or even notably ugly, marking them as distinct from ordinary humans. However, to his bewilderment, what emerged after the blinding light was... nothing.

"What in the name of the Old Gods? Where is my summons?" Damian scanned his surroundings, finding not a single living being in sight.

"Was the summon token faulty?" Damian murmured to himself.

Splash!

Suddenly, Damian's head was drenched in water that seemed to have fallen on him from above.

"Goddammit? Who did this?" Damian cursed, but then it clicked for him that his summons might just be invisible. "I command you to show yourself to me."

Just as Damian uttered those words, he found himself surrounded by a group of tiny human-like beings wearing colourful clothes that appeared to be crafted from leaves and grasses. Their height ranged from 5 inches to a foot long, and they sported vibrant wings flapping rapidly, reminiscent of hummingbirds. Another observation Damian made was their slightly pointed ears, resembling those of elves.

"Fairies?"

"Hehehe, oh no, My Lord. You've got it all mixed up. We're not fairies. We're a tribe of Pixies," chuckled the fey with blue wings and a faded yellow dress made out of autumn leaves.

Damian gazed at the smiling faces of a hundred Pixies, hovering around him with surprising silence. Notably, none looked older than 30, although he did spot a couple of tiny Pixies with baby faces peeking curiously from behind the larger ones. Damian wouldn't describe them all as beautiful; while some possessed delightful features and cute, big eyes, he couldn't help but notice the... unconventional aspects.

"Wait, how does she even fly with those huge... bonkers?" Damian's eyes inadvertently fixated on a Pixie with ample assets compared to her foot-sized height. She was the least dressed, with flower petals discreetly covering her private parts while everything else was exposed. Quickly averting his eyes, Damian cleared his throat, only for the mischievous Pixie to respond with a playful jiggling of her breasts.

"Ahem, so you guys are Pixies, huh? Which world are you from?" Damian inquired, directing his question to the Pixie who appeared to be the leader of the enchanting assembly.

"Well, I don't remember, My Lord. Though I know for sure that we are supposed to be dead. But now we find ourselves back in the land of the living, bound by the explicit law of obeying your words, unless you intentionally cause harm to us or tell us to do anything that is against out nature," the Pixie explained.

"Well, I don't remember, My Lord. Though I know for sure that we are supposed to be dead. But now we are here, back to the land of the living, with the explicit law of obeying your words unless you cause intentional harm to us," the Pixie explained.

"Is that so?" Damian responded with a thoughtful expression. "I suppose you are the leader of this tribe. What's your name?"

"You're right, My Lord. I'm indeed the chief and I'm known as Willow's Whisper," the Pixie said confidently.

Curious, Damian delved further into the details of their tribe and race, seeking information on their abilities, lifespan, nature, and how they could be of assistance to him.

Willow explained to his Human lord as much as he could. As he did, the pixies scattered around the magical world, their curiosity piqued. Some mischievously engaged with Damian's summon farmers, playfully snatching fruits from the mango tree he had conjured moments ago. Though they possessed magical abilities, most of their tricks were harmless and often geared towards pranking those they disliked.

Willow emphasized their aversion to causing harm to any living being, aligning with their innate nature. Pixies could turn invisible to the naked eye, a skill employed to safeguard themselves from predators and humans with harmful intentions. Unlike fairies, they didn't actively tend to the forest, but their mere presence had a positive impact on its growth and wildlife.

In terms of magic, Pixies could create water balls to drench others, craft illusions to ward off potential invaders with ill intent and perform a couple of other spells primarily used for playful pranks.

Damian was taken aback to learn that Pixies didn't age and die in the human sense. As long as they avoided being killed, Pixies could practically live for eternity or until the land became barren of plants and other life. Even if they met their demise, their bodies would disperse like energy, returning to nature. After some time, they would be reborn, emerging as part of new Pixie couples, devoid of memories from their previous lives.

Their population increased through normal reproduction between male and female Pixies. With abundant nature and the absence of predators, their numbers would swiftly multiply, as females could give birth every three to four months. However, this only occurred when their numbers went really low.

"We could be scouts for you or help you drive away intruders from places you don't want anyone to come," Willow suggested.

Damian's lips turned upwards upon hearing this. Even if they wouldn't directly harm anyone for him, their invisibility and illusion abilities were more than useful.

Encouraged by the prospect, Damian asked Willow to demonstrate his abilities one by one.

Willow acquiesced and turned invisible after mumbling something in a strange language.

Damian found himself unable to see through Willow's invisibility, bringing satisfaction to his expression. Eager to explore his newly acquired spell, he chanted, "Lumanara Veil!" Damian felt his magic accumulating and circulating in his eyes in a peculiar way. His grey eyes turned bright as he started seeing something beyond the ordinary—a flow of strange, bright colors dancing inside the magical space world. Among these, he spotted several radiant spots, representing Pixies flying around. Attempting to locate Willow, he discovered the chief hovering above him. Willow, surprised at being seen, ceased his invisibility.

"You can see me, My Lord? How?" Willow asked curiously.

"Arcane sight. It's a spell that enables me to see magic with my own eyes. Even if you had turned invisible to the naked human eye, the magic circulating in your body that's keeping you invisible was seen through with the help of the spell," Damian explained.

"Now let's see your other abilities. Also, call everyone who has a different magic spell than yours. I want to know how you all can help me the best" Damian said.
