2 Prologue (Part 2)

[POV AQUILES VIRIDIUM]

God heard Aquiles' words and responded with serenity, his voice echoing with an aura of transcendence: "I'm glad to know that you understand your insignificance. It truly is impossible for you to save that world in its current state. Therefore, if you accept, I will grant you a little help. Since you saved 5 lives before dying, I will grant you 4 powers of your choice as a reward before sending you, if you accept!" As soon as Aquiles heard God's words, he felt as if a bolt ran through his entire body, or rather, his soul.

"I can choose four powers? Why don't you just let me choose 5? After all, I saved 5 people." Aquiles questioned shamelessly. He knew that if he could choose even one more power, it would make a big difference in his journey.

God was not angered or offended by Aquiles' greed. He had a profound understanding of how greedy Aquiles was. So, a slight smile began to form at the corner of God's mouth, and he inquired with satisfaction: "It seems you've already accepted my proposal, am I right?"

Aquiles nodded in agreement, and God continued speaking right after: "Don't worry, you will have 5 powers, but I will choose the last one. With my powers, I have seen countless possible futures for the world I will send you to, but only in a few of those futures is that world saved. The 4 powers you will choose don't matter, but the fifth power is essential for any of those futures!"

Aquiles absorbed God's explanation with a mixture of astonishment and attention. After all, he had a clear understanding that his fate was intrinsically linked to the world, meaning if the world died, he would die as well, and next time, Aquiles instinctively knew only eternal sleep awaited him.

After pondering for a moment, Aquiles spoke: "I see... then I have already chosen my four powers. I want the power of Jiren, of Freeza, Eternal Youth, and Immortality." With this level of power, he was confident he could do anything, including saving a world from death.

"Good joke, kid, but no! Those powers are far beyond what the balance of the world would allow. The power you choose must fit within the world's power level, or it will not be allowed!" God explained patiently.

"I understand, but if that's the case, what is the world you will send me to like?" Aquiles questioned, tilting his head slightly to the side.

With enlightening simplicity, God outlined the reality of that world with absolute indifference: "This is the world where the Chronicles of Ice and Fire unfold." Immediately upon hearing his destination, Aquiles' eyes widened in shock and surprise, his heart pounding in his chest. The revelation that he would be sent to the universe of the 'Game of Thrones' books seemed as absurd as it was fantastic.

"Game of Thrones is real?" Aquiles questioned in a tone of total disbelief as he widened his eyes, his words resonating with a mixture of enchantment, excitement, and incredulity.

"Of course, did you really believe that George had created such a perfect world only with his imagination? In the past, I gave him some glimpses of that world through dreams, and he used what I showed him to write his first 5 books!" God replied with a calmness that seemed to embrace all of Aquiles' understanding.

"So that's why George R. R. Martin doesn't release books anymore." Aquiles thought. For years, he had admired the intricate narratives and rich details of the world of Westeros, but realizing that it was the result of more than just a creative mind left him completely stunned.

Aquiles, however, couldn't resist the question that had long haunted his mind since he began reading the books. "God, if you allow me to ask, how were the dragons created?" Aquiles inquired in a slightly pleading tone.

God smiled like a sage eager to share long-held knowledge. "The dragons were conceived by the Bloodmages, beings whose mastery of magic was supreme. They channeled their powers to merge the blood and life essence of Wyverns and Fireworms. This magical alchemy ritual unfolded within a magical instrument called the Bloodsphere." God paused to check if Aquiles had understood, noticing Aquiles' eyes shining with curiosity.

God then continued the explanation: "To consolidate the bond between the first dragon riders and the magnificent creatures, the Bloodmages took a singular measure. They introduced some of their children into the Bloodsphere with cuts scattered across their bodies, where their blood could flow and merge with the blood of the still-young dragons during the creation process. These Bloodmages, using their spells and blood, managed to create a bond between the two species. In this way, the human descendants of these Bloodmages had their human blood partially fused in harmony with the blood of the dragons, just as the dragons had some of the blood of these humans in their bodies. Thus, they managed to form a bond between them that allowed these men and their descendants to connect to the dragons and become the first dragon riders!"

Aquiles remained silent for a few moments as he assimilated every word from God, as if deciphering a long-hidden puzzle. "So, the relationship between the dragon riders and their imposing creatures is not just one of dominance, but rather a blood and magical bond that connects the two species. So that's why some Targaryen babies are born deformed with wings and tails, these deformities occur because of the dragon blood flowing in their veins?" Aquiles questioned in an uncertain and hesitant tone as he looked at God.

God noticed Aquiles' uncertain expression and tone of voice as he looked at him and nodded in agreement while saying, "Exactly, that's why in Old Valyria, each family could only ride their own dragons created by their Bloodmages, and none of them stole dragons from each other, after all, even if they stole the eggs, they wouldn't have the blood connection and, therefore, couldn't ride them!"

Aquiles' mind spun with this revelation. "So the theory of how dragons were created that Septon Barth wrote in the book was partially correct, it just lacked a few details he couldn't have known." Aquiles murmured, referring to the Septon who served the Old King and who had advocated this same explanation in one of the books of the saga.

It was at that moment, while Aquiles stood in silence, processing all of God's words, that he remembered God talking about the end of the world and that his followers called him 'The Lord of Light', which led Aquiles to connect the dots in his mind and ask with astonishment in his voice, "Y-You said your followers call you The Lord of Light! Does that mean you are R'hllor, the God Melisandre serves?"

"In Braavos, in the House of Black and White, my faithful call me 'The God of Many Faces'. R'hllor is just one of my names. And yes, Melisandre is one of my followers." God confirmed simply.

"Y-You also said the world would be destroyed. Does that mean the White Walkers won?" That was the only explanation Aquiles could imagine, after all, they were the only ones Aquiles remembered who truly held a power strong enough to destroy the world.

"Yes, in the future, Jon leads the Free Folk and fights against them at the Wall alongside Stannis Baratheon's army, but despite managing to drive out the Night King and his army, almost everyone dies, including Jon and Stannis. Fifteen years after Jon and Stannis's death, the White Walkers attack again, and now they manage to breach the Wall and start killing everyone in Westeros. Three years later, everyone on that continent becomes undead under the command of the Night King." God explained, then paused to give Aquiles time to absorb what he had said.

Aquiles seemed restless, sad, and a little angry. "Jon came back to life just to die? But that's messed up. But that doesn't explain how the Night King destroys the world. He may have destroyed Westeros, but it shouldn't be the end." Aquiles exclaimed with confusion as he looked at God.

"Just over 4 years after exterminating life in Westeros, a merchant from Myr docks his ship in King's Landing, and the Night King keeps him alive and uses him to cross the Narrow Sea and reach Essos. Upon arriving on the continent of Essos, the Night King initiates a massacre, killing everyone there as well. With his army constantly growing due to the dead, he annihilates everyone on that continent. He then moves on to Sothoryos and eliminates the few survivors who fled there. Thus, he continues until all life on the planet is extinguished!" God outlined the bleak future with an almost mechanical impassivity, like a chronicler narrating the events of a distant story.

"But what about Daenerys? Can't she defeat him even with 3 dragons?" Aquiles inquired with curiosity and a hint of confusion, tilting his head slightly to the side and trying to remember if her death had already occurred in the books.

"Daenerys Targaryen meets her end at the hands of an assassin hired by the slave masters. After her death, her dragons fly away and disappear, never to be seen again!" God replied with the same apathy as always.

Aquiles experienced a whirlwind of emotions, an intense mixture of disbelief and desolation. "This is... so cruel! After all the characters have been through, all the battles, sacrifices, betrayals, they only know death and destruction? It's a more bitter ending than the last episode of the television series!" Aquiles deliberated, with an unhappy and bitter expression etched on his face.

After a moment of contemplation amid the silence, pondering what would happen in the future, Aquiles controlled his emotions and asked, "You said the powers must fit within the power level of that world, but can you tell me exactly which powers I can choose?"
