3 Chapter 3 - Explanation

"I'm sure everyone here has done something amazing, sir" I replied smiling at Gandhi.

"You sure have, and stop calling me Mister, call me Gandhi" he replied with a smile.

"By the way, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Arthur Miller, but you can call me Arth, just like my sister" I said to Gandhi extending my hand.

"Right" said Gandhi as he shook my hand.

"Come on Arth, we're close" said Gandhi as he approached a hut by the river.

The cabin was made of wood, had a porch with a bench and a table, and above it a sculpture of a carved person, beside it some tools scattered on the table, several chisels of different shapes and a saw.

Gandhi climbed the four steps at the entrance and knocked three times on the door.

"Come in" answered a male voice from inside the hut.

Gandhi pushed the door open and soon entered the hut with me behind.

"Jesus, Buddha, let me introduce to you Arthur Miller, or Arth" announced Gandhi as he pointed at me.

Upon entering the cabin, I looked around, inside it is extremely simple, the floor and walls are made of wood, the furniture only had a mat placed directly on the floor, covered by blankets, and beside a chest that I assume to be your clothes, on the other side of the cabin had a fireplace burning, beside it, a wooden table with some kitchen utensils, with two chairs beside it, and in the air, permeates the smell of burning wood.

Sitting on the floor in lotus position, a bald man with golden brown skin, looks amazing, has brown eyes, slender nose and oval face, his face gives me a feeling of peace and wisdom, he wore red and yellow monk's clothes.

Sitting on the floor in the lotus position, a bald man with golden brown skin, his appearance was amazing, he has brown eyes, a slender nose, and an oval face, his face gives me a feeling of peace and wisdom, and contradicts his body thin, looked like gallows, wore red and yellow monk's clothes.

"..."

"Arth?" spoke Gandhi.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was shocked to see you, it's an honor to meet you, Jesus, Buddha," I said trying to show respect.

"That's ok Arth, it's not the first time this happens to us, you should see when Joan of Arc and Charlemagne met me, that was a shock, Hahaha". Jesus replied with a smile on his face.

"I remember when Musashi and Okazaki met me too, Hahahaha" said Buddha laughing.

When Jesus and Buddha said that, I looked at Gandhi, and asked:

"Are they here too?" I asked surprised.

"Of course you are, after all, they have left their mark on history," Gandhi said.

"I had assumed that only heroes, saints, priests, poets and gods would be here," I said to Gandhi.

"Everyone who left their name engraved in history is present here, Nero, Ragnar, Leonidas, even Jack the Ripper," replied Jesus.

"Wait, if Jack is here, is Hitler here too?" I asked in astonishment.

"No, as much as he left his name etched in history, the crimes he committed exceeds what is allowed here, people like that are sent to another type of place." replied Jesus with a sad face.

"Purgatory" I replied.

"Precisely" replied Jesus with a nod of the head.

"But Jack committed serious crimes too, how is he allowed here?" I asked

"I will explain to you how it works, all the people who have gone down in history pass through here regardless of their actions, me, Jesus, Gandhi and a few others make ourselves available to try and bring clarity to the minds of troubled people, Hitler was one person that no matter how hard we tried he couldn't get rid of that hatred, so we communicate the messengers to take him to purgatory." Said Buddha

"I see, and these messengers, who are they?" I asked.

"They are like the angels of the Catholic Church, they are servants of God, they answer our requests when we need them, and they take people to samsara," answered Buddha.

"People who are here, can they reincarnate?" I asked them eagerly.

"They can, from time to time the messengers ask who would like to reincarnate." replied Gandhi.

"When will they come?" I asked.

"We don't know, they have no specific date to come, it could take 10 years or even 1000." replied Jesus smiling.

"I understand, tell me, why haven't you guys reincarnated yet?" asked the three.

"We don't want to, we like this place, not only us, but everyone who has come so far, you can count on the fingers of one hand those who have left, everyone respects each other, because we know that the people who are here in some way are not superior or inferior, those who like fighting face others who also like, if you prefer science, math, physics, or other type of content, you will study with others who also prefer, if you sing, you will have others to do a duet." said Jesus smiling.

"And when do I get to meet the rest of the people?" I asked.

"Now, we were just waiting for you, it's almost lunch time, let's go before it starts." said Jesus as he walked to the door.

"Come on" I said smiling as I followed Jesus out of the hut.

'Looks like my time here is going to be fun, filled with amazing people, I think for the first time in my life, I'm going to have a place to call home, and who knows, I may ask them to teach me their trades, it's like Shakespeare said, Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven.
