38 She’s what?

Winterhold, Skagos, 9th Moon of 278 AC

Ragnar woke up at night to the sound of someone running out of his room; he quickly got up to his feet to see Dacey's silhouette going toward the small privy connected to his room. Ragnar, the ever dutiful husband, followed after her and held her hair up as she proceeded to vomit the shit out of her, not literally. He felt a little worried about her and waited till she finished her "nasty little business" to do a diagnosis spell on her. Ragnar wouldn't admit it, but he was getting quite attached to his new wife; it wasn't love, unfortunately, but it was a fondness similar to that of a good friend, though the benefits of such a "friendship" were breathtaking.

" Are you all right, Dacey?" Ragnar asked, and the way and speed at which Dacey's head turned in his direction made him think of vengeful ghosts or hungry tigers.

" Do I look all right to you, Ragnar?! No! Of course not! I feel uneasy and dizzy. My belly feels weird! And we are almost going to battle. So no, I'm not ALL RIGHT!" Dacey said, her voice was cracking, and she was trembling; Ragnar knew she wasn't cold as although she was naked, their chambers on Frostfall were enchanted to have a warm temperature at all times. Ragnar smiled at her and used a telekinesis spell to levitate a piece of cloth to him; he grabbed it and began to clean her mouth; she was crying for some reason, probably the stress from waking up just to throw up, so as Ragnar was cleaning her mouth she was sobbing a bit, which Ragnar found rather cute. Once he finished cleaning her mouth, Ragnar cupped her cheeks with his hand and passed his thumbs on the tear trails on her face, cleaning it. She looked at him with her large blue eyes, and Ragnar kissed her nose, which made her smile a little.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask dumb questions; are you done vomiting?" Ragnar whispered to her, and she cutely nodded. He smiled at her and grabbed her in a bridal style.

" Let's get back to bed, and I will cast some healing spells on you, hum. I will even ask someone to bring something for you to eat… we can lay together and stay like that for the whole day tomorrow if you don't feel better.. good?" Ragnar said, and Dacey, who by this point was as red as a tomato, just nodded. Ragnar did as he said and laid her down on the bed and cast a diagnosis spell on her… the response to his extent made him jump out of bed, in his face, there was a smile as large as the Ragnar himself.

" What's going on, Ragnar? What is it" Dacey said, her voice still weak.

" You are pregnant… he is gonna have a baby!" Ragnar said quietly despite his joy, and Dacey was speechless.

" What?"

Skagos Maester POV

Maester Galan had seen a lot of things in his life; he studied a lot of stuff on the citadel, and despite having no more than five links on his chain, he considered himself a master of the healing arts, something he proud himself of and something that made him valuable in the once barbaric land of Skagos, but ever since Ragnar Dovahkiin appeared and conquered the island things have changed, most of it to the better and he wouldn't deny. The man changed the Island to a level never seen before; he made this undesired piece of rocks and mountains into the most profitable territory in the North, he found gold, he found out a way to make glass, he went to Essos alone and got back with the third largest fleet on the realm and thousands of free slaves, he built a city, probably the fourth biggest city in Westeros, he created hundreds of glasshouses, which made him able to farm crops in large quantities, enough to feed his people and the entire eastern coast of The North. he's building a massive fortress to be his new seat of power, but this wasn't the most impressive thing he has done. The most remarkable thing he has done and is doing is to reintroduce magic to The North, not those parlors tricks, but real magic, which didn't require sacrifices or anything of the sort. It was a skill as mundane as swordsmanship. Ragnar Dovahkiin was a powerful man, and he had 2 Dragons at his disposal, which made him the most dangerous individual in the known world; if he wanted, he could conquer the entire realm, but strangely enough, he didn't, he chose to serve Lord Stark and was apparently quite happy about it, and like any other northerner he really meant to follow the oaths he has given, which brought Galan to this moment. A few days ago, he sent a message to Lord Stark asking the man permission to eradicate the Bolton Line, or in his words "bring justice on Roose Bolton." Lord Stark answered the message, he wasn't allowed to read the letter as Lord Dovahkiin, unlike his predecessors, didn't trust him with information. He would've to wait for Lord Dovahkiin to read and share with him the contents of the letter, which might decide the future of a Noble House, House Bolton, of course, as Garlan was sure that nothing short of a God could fight Lord Dovahkiin, the man was so inhumanly strong that when he threw the late Lord Magnar onto the mountains of Skagos, the man literally exploded in thousands of pieces from the strength of the impact.

Garlan tried to get Lord Dovahkiin to give him Lord Stark's answer, but he was stopped by two unusually happy guards, who said the Lord and Lady were asked not to be disturbed. Galan told them that it was the message from Lord Stark and one guard nodded and knocked on Lord Dovahkiin's door; after a few seconds an unusually smiley Ragnar Dovahkiin walked out of the door

" Didn't I instruct you that I wasn't to be disturbed? What do you need, Maester? What happened?" Lord Dovahkiin said, his voice was as powerful as it always was; the man's voice was something out of tales; it rumbled and echoed even on open fields, and whenever he spoke, his voice would prevail over everything.

" Lord Stark sends his answer; I came to bring it to you, my lord," Maester Galan replied, and Lord Dovahkiin's eyes widened; he took the scroll and read it; his smile grew more prominent as he read the letter.

" We sail tomorrow; Lord Stark allowed me to pass the Skagossi sentence to rape on Lord Bolton. The blood eagle will fly on the Dreadfort." Lord Dovahkiin said, and his guards tapped the end of their spears on the floor as a form of salute to Lord Dovahkiin, who in turn said some words in High Valyrian to them.

" Good Night, Maester; sleep well. For tomorrow you will witness the prelude of House's Bolton fall."

Maester Galan couldn't think of anything other than nodding.

The next day, a few hours before Dawn

Davos POV

Davos woke up with a knock on the door of his room in Frostfall; his wife was by his side, sleeping and unaware of her surroundings, something rather typical for a noble woman, something she became a few moons ago when Lord Dovahkiin made him a noble. He was now the head of House Seasworth, a masterly House of Skane, sworn to House Dovahkiin of Skagos. All that thanks to Lord Dovahkiin, a man so virtuous and magnanimous that Davos felt bad for receiving any rewards from the man; he felt that serving such a legend was enough payment as it was.

Davos got up from his bed and went for the door, and was greeted by the vision of a guard.

" Lord Dovahkiin said we sail today before noon; he wants you to get the sailors ready and raise 600 men from the levies," The guard said, and Davos nodded slowly.

" It will be done, thank you, good man!" Davos said, and the man nodded before he left

Davos kissed his wife on the forehead and wore some clothes; he then went out of his room and began to plan his day, or morning as they would sail by noon.
