I’m gonna be honest I think it’s a good book the writing quality could be better but the story development was good until Ashara but that’s not my problem thing is I stopped reading as soon as I read he was contemplating on letting a 13-15 year old girl get raped for his plans to get Ashara to hate the lannisters I didn’t read anymore so I don’t know if he goes through with it but that’s just sick honestly I hope he didn’t but I’m not reading this anymore but it was a good book at least to where I read it.

Pretty bad story, its basically a recounting what happened, not a nicely written fsnfic sonnet get into it. The Mc is a psycho so that turns you off as well.

To be fair I stopped at character 18, this story had some good in it but I just can’t take the lack of character growth. Some may argue age but combined with poor writing quality, bad characters and I just don’t want to keep going to get to that point. The sad part is I like the author even if they need to stop praising there MC all the time. They have some unknown quality I like but need more time to refine there art. Going to skip this story but have hope for their next one. JUST GET OFF YOUR MC NUTS!

I really like this it's new, I haven't seen one like this in a good minute. As for the story it good you are making good progress also you are keeping it interesting which I like, don't know where it's going. I hope you get better! Have a good one mate.

Honestly this fanfic left a bad taste in my mouth... let mrejust say that it wasn't my cup of tea ...MC in this fanfic is schemer, cunning, violent anfdcan go to any lengths to get whaythe wants... he has one goal to make his sons rule the westeros... to achieve that he manipulated everyone around him since birth... that made me feel he had no real relationship... he just wanted to use his schemes to see how further he can go... so yes 3.8 rating writing Quality is awesome though

A decent read before the start of canon. I liked to read about the early years while Mc grew up as Roberts twin and Roberts rebellion, but after that author went off the rails. The wife of MC descended into madness with almost 0 warning and we didn’t even get to read about it happening gradually (author only gave a few flashbacks to explain her death). Then there are the arcs after canon started… it’s a complete clusterf*ck honestly. Author tried to replicate his own version of Daenerys’ descent into madness with the Mc but failed miserably as it was not consistent with the MC’s character that was shown so far. Yes, there was some foreshadowing but it was as poorly executed as when the author adopted it for the Mc’s wife. Honestly I’m would rate the first 150 or something chapters 3.5-4/5 and after that, 2 stars at best.

The protag is kind of weird...man switches from mature to immature every few lines and as for character development there is no change even after 30 chapters. Author tried to build a smart and cunning mc but this guy here is plain pathetic.

I must say that this soap opera has a lot of ups and downs, it's not really my genre, but it's very close to the songs of ice and fire, I thought it was very close to the original script, but still too different to put as a copy, it's a strange feeling . the protagonist is flawed, a lot, but who is not, he has a certain madness and inconsistency, which makes him even more human. I admit I didn't really like the ending, but that's because I prefer happy endings, but this is GOT, what would you expect? I admit that if I were in the mc's place I wouldn't do much like him, but anyway... this was one of the best GOT stories I've ever read, I found the ending kind of fast, as if the author was struggling to finish the story, so some characters had changes that seemed meaningless. now… thank you for the story, it was good to follow Edward.
