19 Chapter 19

As the gate slowly opened, revealing a man leading a formidable group of 100 mounted soldiers, they approached Elia. Stopping just 20 feet away from her, the man, whom they called the Marshal of the Emperor's army, introduced himself with a deep bow, saying, "Greetings, fair Lady. I am Marshal Chang Jin, commander of the Emperor's loyal forces.".

Elia addressed Chang Jin with a serene demeanor, saying, "Greetings, Marshal Chang Jin. I am Elia Martell, the former Queen of the Seven Kingdoms in Westeros. I have come in search of an audience with the Azure Emperor, Bu Gai.".

With caution, Marshal Chang Jin addressed Elia while keeping a watchful eye on the formidable dragons behind her, "Your Royal Highness, I can make arrangements, but..."

As Chang Jin hesitated and fear flashed in his eyes when he glanced at Bahamut, Elia reassured him with a deep understanding, "They won't harm anyone."

Chang Jin regained his composure and replied calmly, "In that case, Your Royal Highness, allow me to make arrangements for the accommodation and safety of your people. I shall ensure everything is prepared for your journey."

Elia, displaying great courage, walked towards Bahamut and said firmly, "No need, Marshal. All that is required is to ensure the safety and well-being of my people. I will make my own way to meet the Emperor."

Bahamut, taken aback by Elia's resolute words, summoned his magical power and gently lifted Elia along with her children onto his back. With a mighty roar that startled the nearby horses, Bahamut soared into the sky, heading towards the palace on the hill, resembling a medieval-era fortress in the distance.

The young dragons followed Bahamut with roars that echoed through the surroundings. Chang Jin, a seasoned veteran of many wars, had never felt so powerless in front of a woman. He knew he had to tread carefully, unsure of how the beast behind her would react. He marveled at the sight of this woman who stood her ground against his imposing presence. And to add to his surprise, she rode the creature like a flying horse, a feat beyond his wildest imagination.

Aegon, Elia's young son, watched in amazement as he witnessed a new, powerful side of his mother. It was a revelation to him, seeing his mother command such respect and fear from the imposing man. Though Elia felt a hint of fear herself, she drew strength from the powerful dragon standing beside her.

Elia gazed in the direction of a distant fortress, which was enclosed within an extravagant castle. The castle was a testament to the overwhelming wealth of the Emperors of Yi Ti. Even the roof tiles of the castle were crafted from pure gold, a sight that left Bahamut equally astounded. The riches of Yi Ti were on full display, from the grandeur of the castle to the opulence of the fortress.

The people of Yin City gazed in awe as a colossal shadow soared above them, casting a sense of wonder and silence across the city. It was an unusual occurrence for the bustling city to fall silent during the daytime.

With a thunderous thud, Bahamut landed in a large training area near the palace. The warriors in the training area panicked, fleeing in all directions as they saw the enormous beast approaching. Elia and her children remained on Bahamut's back, watching the scene unfold.

Soon, the Azure Emperor emerged from the palace with his high-ranking officials. He was adorned in a robe that was not only elaborate but also richly embroidered. The Emperor's headdress, often bearing a crown or various ornamental symbols, marked his prestigious rank. His long grey beard signified him as a middle-aged man.

Despite his status as the Emperor, fear still lingered in his eyes as he approached Bahamut. The Emperor's courage lay in the presence of the few sorcerers at his court, whom he believed would protect him from the beast if necessary.
