I knew that the peace we had for 20 years won't last forever If we exclude the Greyjoy uprising. The war would fall upon us the moment Robert Baratheon dies. And the king of ice zombies would attack when we are at our weakest.

So I have prepared accordingly to that sole purpose. I have thought a lot contingency plan as well. Because I knew nothing ever goes according to plan, if one of my plan doesn't work out, then the other one will.

I started my war preparations right after Ned Stark became hand of the king. So i smuggled small portions of my weapons that i have secretly and illegally imported from the free cities for ten years to the mountain clans of the Vale through various secret roots in the mountain of the moon to various vicious clan chiefs that i have contacts. I want the lords of Vale to stay out of the fight and if possible rest of the war.

Because if my boy the new Lord Artys Arryn joins his cousin Robb Stark in Riverlands then all my plans are screwed. The clans will attack vale with good weapons and cause as much chaos as possible to the Vale, the lords will be too busy destroying the mountain barbarians to support other Kingdoms.

I know Eddard Stark, that honorable fool wouldn't stand a chance against Cersei. The Starks doesn't fare good in the south and the history repeats itself. Another Stark goes to King's Court,does something very foolish by poking at things he shouldn't and dies. Though what surprised me the most was the fact that Tyrion was in the capitol and somehow couldn't stop Jeoffrey from beheading the man. Hmm maybe he was late, who knows?

The results are the same Ned Stark dead.

And War follows.

A fine opportunity for me and my family, war can be profitable for those who wants to gain from it . It also births warriors. In the Greyjoy rebellion my sons were too young to go to battle but now they are in the right age to experience the horrors of war. And those who are strong enough to survive it, they will reborn harder and stronger.

The first task I gave my troops were to eliminate the bandits(sent by Tywin Lannister)that burning crops all throughout Riverlands.

And it was a huge success that we had enough heads to decorate my large castle's main gate with bandit heads and hands. After that

Eddard Stark led a unsuccessful coup against Jeoffrey Baratheon the new king, as the report from the raven arrived to Herranhall announced.

I gathered all my bannerman. House woode,House wyne,House greenwood And many smaller knightly houses that are too unimportant for me to remember. But they all answered my call to arm.

Then I sent messengers/my Sons to all the Southern Riverlords that i am allied with, to unite our might in Herranhall and plan our next course of action to fight the Westerlands.

Tywin Lannister invaded the Riverlands with his mighty host of 35 thousand men.

This time however Tywin Lannister divided his army in two. One led by ser Jaime Lannister against Edmure Tully,House Mallister,House Blackwood, House pipers and others.

And the second army Tywin Lannister led himself against us.

Last of our scouts reported that Jaime Lannister caught the lord Paramount of trident unprepared to fight against 20 thousand strong army of Westerlands and jaime Lannister defeated EdmureTully.

SO We took defensive approach for our strategy and fortified our position. Our opponent Tywin Lannister and me and my fellow allied lords have same amount of numbers. So if he directly attacks our fortified position then he will lose way more men than us. And we have the home field advantage on our side. We have the resources and supply on our side. But Tywin Lannister did not and only way he could defeat us is to surround us with his second and larger host led by ser Jaime. So we were locked in a stalemate and restored to skirmish warfare.

He sent his outrider to do as much as damage to our lands as possible and we sent out ours to kill them as many we get our hands on and we are winning!

Tywin Lannisters second army on the other hand was laying siege against Riverrun. And thankfully the last report from our scouts told us that Robb Stark timely arrived at Riverrun defeated Jaime Lannister and his host and captured the Oath Breaker and many of his father's bannerman.

The war is going very badly for the overlord of Westerlands.But surprisingly(not for me though) the arrogant letter of Edmure Tully arrived that proclaimed Robb Stark has declared himself King! A very bad move for the young wolf.

This bold declaration did not pleased anyone and mostly my allied lords because we were all supporters of King Renly Baratheon we had no problem if Robb Stark stayed just Lord Paramount.

For many of us Renly Baratheon is a good choice for a king, He is the happy and charismatic younger brother of king Robert Baratheon first of his name,He is liked by many and hated by none. Renly made alliance with the Tyrells and gathered the largest army in westeros. A hundred thousand is no joke.

And In this timeline I have Melisandre for myself so I knew Stannis doesn't have the ability to assassinate Renly. Only I have that ability now.

Our strategy is simple, hold on to our defensive position against Tywin Lannister and Robb Stark until Renly Baratheon takes the capitol and later liberate us. I might get the hand of the king position if Renly thinks Mace Tyrell isn't competent enough.

But Even in my wildest dreams I never thought he would get killed by a fucking ambush!!! My heart broke when i received the news of Renly's death. I was his teacher in kingslanding and a sort of big brother figure to him. Because Robert and Stannis mostly ignored him. Both of my sons grew up with him and saw him as the young uncle they could look up to, and through them he made connections to the Tyrells. I even encouraged Renly that he can embrace his homosexuality.

My Heir and spare Harlan and Luthor was most hurt from learning the news of Renly and their cousin Loras's death.

Renly's untimely death put us in a very bad position, and I was not prepared for it. Starks and Tullys won't forgive me because i was technically the main leader of our bands. And many lords are thinking of abandoning me and joining Robb Stark. Thankfully nobody is thinking of joining Stannis, that much I was sure.

Thankfully not unexpectedly Tywin Lannister came to the rescue and the lion lord himself proposed us an alternative. A offer that we could not refuse!

He will pardon all of us for betraying the rightful king and also reward us if we join him 'A Lannister always pays his debts' he pridefully declared. And also for me I received two additional offers from the lion lord.

He will make Joffery to name me the new lord Paramount of trident. And willing to form a marriage alliance.

He offered his widowed daughter's hand in marriage. The queen mother herself.

I accepted his offer, The first one of course.

BUt the second one I declined for several reasons. Yes i might actually like to have Cersei for a single night of passion but getting married to her? Yeh I'm might be crazy....a little....but not that crazy!

Also it's not me that currently needs a marriage ceremony but the lion lord himself. His favorite heir, Jaime got captured by Robb Stark and many people in our camp thinks that Robb might behead him in revenge for his father. And the dwarf/Imp what ever you prefer is currently in kingslanding making preparations for Stannis's invasion. There is a high chances of his death as well.

After pointing all that out

I gave him a counter marriage offer to my oldest and legitimate bastard daughter.

I was surprised that he actually accepted. No! Surprised is an understatement , I was shocked!

But if I think logically he doesn't have many options and if he loosess this war then his legacy is finished for good. AND I can still attack Tywin Lannister and with that I can gain favor from the Starks. So upsetting me by refusing my good and logical offer didn't sit right with the legacy obsessed man.

So we joined our forces to fight the northerners, but The genius Young Wolf Attacked the Westerlands instead to drew Tywin Lannister in and away from the capital.

But this strategy didn't work for the North because i already know that Tywin Lannister will choose saving the capital from Stannis over Westerlands!

So we the Southern Riverlords divided our army in two. Half will stay and defend against Robb Stark's second army, possibly led by Roose Bolton. And the other half will join Tywin Lannisters host and later meet up with the Tyrells.

And final strategy is to attack Stannis Baratheon from behind with his pants down. Pun intended.
