Chapter 6 Class

The moment that these words sounded in his mind, Arthur could finally see some color fill his previously pitch-black surroundings, as a bright white light appeared in the distance ahead of him.

Arthur could feel his body approaching the white light at a rapid speed, and in less than a minute, his previously dark surroundings had instantly turned pure white, before an entirely different scene appeared in his eyes.

Opening his eyes, Arthur found himself standing in the center of an enormous platform with countless weird symbols etched on it, while in his surroundings, there was nothing else aside from the vast starry sky.

The light coming from the stars seemed to illuminate the huge platform, while the moment that Arthur's feet actually landed on top of the platform itself, the symbols on the platform lit up one after the other as their light completely enveloped Arthur's body.

Arthur could feel an enormous power coming from the platform beneath his feet, while at the same time, he could also feel that his body was tightly constricted, leaving him unable to take even a single step away from the platform, while the light had now covered his entire body.

After what seemed to be a couple of endless minutes, the light from the platform slowly died down, before the same ethereal voice as before sounded in Arthur's mind

Looking at the Character Status in front of him Arthur couldn't help mumbling to himself in a voice filled with doubt, while his gaze was fully focused on the words '[Class: Mage]'.

Unfortunately, there was no one to answer his question, as Arthur could feel the platform beneath his feet light up for the second time. As he opened his eyes and allowed the innumerable mixture of voices to enter his ears, Arthur saw a completely different scene from before, as he found himself in the midst of an enormous plaza that was filled with countless people.

No. It wasn't just humans, but members of countless alien races that were present around him as well.

The sight was truly stunning, as Arthur observed the different races around him with wide-open eyes without speaking.

More than a million people had filled the plaza to the brim, making even walking itself nearly impossible.

Humans actually seemed to be the majority of them which surprised Arthur greatly, but there were also elves, dwarves, 6 meter(19ft) tall giants, and countless other alien races, including even some that looked identical to the Gwong war tribe!

Everyone seemed to be dressed in the same kind of clothes, a simple shirt made from some kind of beast skin that looked like the skin of a bear, and long black or brown-colored pants. Even Arthur seemed to be wearing those clothes as well.

''So many aliens... It also seems that I'm not the only one who couldn't choose his own class either. I wonder if everyone else is like this as well.

No matter what, I should first find out a few more things about this place and learn more about those elemental stones that the aliens want.''

After hearing the disgruntled voices from the people around him, it wasn't hard for Arthur to realize, that there were many others like him who couldn't choose their class either.
