Chapter 2 - Betraying and Kidnapping

(Ryuuto's POV)

We are now walking to the Victoria Street. We stopped at Magallanes Street.

"From here, we're splitting. We attract a lot of attention by moving in large group." I said.

I divided the Group A in two. 4th Star General Sahiro Eto and Private Azuki Chiho will be the group 1 and will take the General Luna Street, while me and Spy Awawa Seiki will take the Magallanes Street. Everyone agreed and we split.

Awawa Seiki is just a normal mob character, to be exact. Her grades are average, and her personality is also average.

Sahiro Eto, who's also like Arize, was an introvert. Although unlike Arize who's into manga and light novels, Sahiro is into normal literature. And like Saito, his favorite genre is strategy and mystery, like Sherlock Holmes.

Azuki Chiho is like a heroine character. Her looks are attractive and one of the boy's fantasy. Her smooth silver hair is one of her most beauty points, added by her silver eyes. I heard her mother is a foreigner.

So why am i saying this? I teamed Azuki and Eto not only because of their position, but because they're compatible to each other.

Eto is an introvert, but smart. Azuki is an extrovert but dumb. So Azuki can cheer up Eto if he froze in the spot, and Eto can do the strategy, which is Azuki's not forte.

As for me and Seiki, he's a normal person while me is a kinda strict person? I don't really know how our compatibility works, or if we're even compatible to each other.

As we walked through the Magallanes Street, we saw a figure of 4 persons.

"Now, be alert. Don't just rush in there." I said to Seiki. He nodded, then looked at the enemy.

"Hoho. I never thought there was an enemy lingering around here." A girl with pink dye hair said. She's Minako Mimi, one of the gal friends of Nina.

"Oh, it's Virgin-kun." A brown haired girl said. She's Ishizawa Ai, also one of the gals.

"Yo, are you the student council vice president, aren't you?" A tall guy with blonde hair walked up. He's Shiraza Toru, one of the deliquents in school.

"..." the other one is Kokoro Roe, a silent girl. She has dark green dyed haired, paired with her dark eyes.

Really, i never thought they will move as soon as the battle begin.

"Listen, we don't need to engage to battle yet. We need to identify what rank they does before attacking." I whispered to Seiki, who's silent the whole time.

Apparently, those gals messed up with Seiki in first year, so he's avoiding those girls. What a poor boy. But before we moved....

Roe, the silent girl, is the one who attacked first. Her target is Seiki.

Unable to evade, Seiki took a lot of damage, and his HP goes to 20%.

"Argghhh!!! IT HURTS!!"

I kicked Roe with full force, and she was sent flying to the ground.

"Are you okay?!" I lifted Seiki with my both hands.

"Damn... i'm okay....."

While i'm talking with Seiki, the two gals attacked me. I evaded the attack, and fixed my posture.

"Goddamn.. this is going to be a hell of a battle." I mumbled to myself.

First, i need to identify who's who. Roe attacked carelessly, so it's either her rank is pretty low or pretty high.

The two girls attacked next, and they are confident. I assumed they are high ranked, because they are gals. Gals have a high pride after all.

I don't know about the Toru guy tho. He didn't moved a muscle the entire time. I need a bit more of information...

"What's wrong, virgin? Don't want to attack?" Ishizawa said.

Calm down. They are trying to intimidate you.

"Why don't you go attack first?" I said.

"Then, here i go!"

Ishizawa ran to me with a high speed with a knife. But as she tried to pierce me, i immediately picked up Seiki, who's still in pain.

As a result, Ishizawa stabbed Seiki instead, and his HP reduced to zero.

The three was suprised by what i did.

"HAHAHA! Sacrificing your friend? Don't you want to die-"

Before she finished her sentence, her body explode into pieces.

An announcement can be heard through the venue. And as for Seiki, his HP returned to normal.

"..."

The three enemy was shocked at what happened.

"What happened?? How did Ai died??! Isn't that guy who's stabbed at the first place?" Minako said, and she fell down to her knees.

"Oi Mimi! Don't broke down yet! I think they have a trick or something!" Toru said.

What is he talking about? Wait... don't tell me... they didn't know the rules?

"Oi you two! What trick did you use to kill Ai?!" Toru shouted at me. His eyes are full of hatred.

I'm gonna try and lure him.

"Oh, it's because Ishizawa's rank is too low. Too bad."

"Huh?! Don't you know who are you talking to? She's a Lieutenant Colonel, i'm a 3 star general, Mimi is a Spy, and Roe is-"

Before he revealed Roe's rank, his head was cut by Roe.

(Arize POV)

"Hmm.... now she did it..." Hiramaru said while grinning.

"What the hell?"

I was surprised. She killed her own teammate? What does Class E thinking?

Game of The General is a game where the more pieces you have, the more high chance you win. Yet, they killed their own teammate, reducing their own numbers.

"So, what's a deal?"

"Say your team's ranks. Then i will save you." Hiramaru said with a grinning face.

"And how are you going to do that?"

"Heh. Are you curious? Why don't you say your rank? Then i'm gonna tell you how."

I looked at him with a serious face. Back in the days, i know what face he makes when he's lying. But i don't see that face in him. He's grinning like hell it makes him creepy.

Should we play at him a bit?

"I-i'm a Sergent. Happy now?"

His face changed when i said that i'm a Sergent. He's now have a serious and straight face than before. But his gaze can't make me flinch even a bit.

"So, why do you want to know to how to save a person?" He asked a question.

That question is related to our plan with Saito. But i can't tell him that.

"I have someone i want to save in a certain class."

That's right. Our plan, is to save Shuu's girlfriend, who's on Class E.

"Hooo... i see. That's bad...."

His gaze got more intense.

"Because you're gonna die here."

At the moment, he stabbed me in the chest, and my HP dropped rapidly.

"ARGHH....!!!!"

"Sorry. You're going to die here.... I'm a spy. Well, that doesn't matter.."

Damnn... a spy?? I need to get out of here quick...

"Where do you think you're going?"

(Sahiro Eto POV)

"""5 Star General Kimiko Arize was eliminated by Hiramaru"""

N-no... Arize died??? He's a 5 star general, means that Hiramaru is a spy. Damn....

"Don't worry, Sahiro. If we win this round, Arize will be resurrected, right?" Azuki pats my shoulder as she gave me an angelic smile. I blushed a little bit.

But she is right. If we win this round, Arize and the others that will die will be alive again. We need to focus to our objective.

"That's the Casa Manila, right?"

The Casa Manila can be seen from our current location. From what i heard, it is a museum.

"Let's go."

We infiltrated the museum. We entered through the front door, while being cautious.

"Now we need to wait until Ryuuto comes here."

While talking, a footstep can be heard.

(Ryuuto POV)

While Azuki and Eto was entering the door, we're still engaging battle with Mimi.

After Roe killed Toru, she ran off somewhere, leaving her teammate die.

"Then, should we kill her?"

Seiki said, then looked at the trembling Mimi. I pity her, but we need to kill to live. That's the game we're living in.

I held the knife and gripped it tightly.

"Then, you're next, Mimi!"

"You bastard, i'm gonna kill you and avenge Ai!" She held her own knife, then approached me.

"Oh ho? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me? Even though your friend Ai was killed in front of you like a pig that's going to be chopped and sold in the market as a meat?"

"I can't kill the shit out of you without getting any closer."

"Then, come as close as you like."

I walked towards her, and now our distance are going shorter and shorter. ¹

"STOP!"

We stopped walking to each other, and looked to the direction where the voice came from.

"S-Saito?"

Saito can be seen with Seiki. He's holding his breath, i think due to he ran here in a high speed.

"Don't kill her, Ryuuto!"

I looked at him with a serious face.

"Why?"

"We need her, okay? Let me deal with her."

What is he thinking, letting an enemy go? And what is he going to deal with?

Let's see what he's going to do.

"Okay. She's yours." I dropped the knife to the ground.

"Thank you."

Saito smiled at me with a scary eyes. Then he looked at Mimi, and immediately grabbed her.

"Arghh!" She tried to escape from the grip, but a man's grip is different.

"I want to have a secret conversation with you. Ryuuto and Seiki, please go ahead."

Seiki and i looked at each other, then eventually agreed.

"Okay, we're gonna go and look for Azuki and Sahiro."

And that, we walked to the streets again, leaving Saito and Mimi.

(Saito POV)

Just as Ryuuto and Seiki left, i let go of Mimi.

"I want to talk about something."

She is silent, but got an angry look at her face.

"It's regarding your boyfriend, Shuu. Did you know that there's a system where that you can change class during the battle?"

That's right. During the battle, all you need to do to change the class is to kill your own flag, but you need an assist from the enemy.

It's like a game where when a person kills someone, those who also damaged the person gain an assist.

And if you kill your own flag, you will have a chance to change to the enemy class.

I had a secret conversation with 'General' before the battle.

"Change class? What do you mean?"

"It means what you exactly heard. Killing your own flag with an assist from the enemy can have a condition of switching class to that enemy."

She frowned. "What if you're not telling the truth? What can you gain from being my teammate?"

I smiled. "You see, Shuu is being suspicious. That's because you're his girlfriend. Sacrificing his own life to let you live is better for him than to see you die. And that's the same for you, right? Then let's have a deal. We need you to kill your own flag with our help. Then, you can stop your boyfriend's rebel. It helps us two both. You can live with your boyfriend while we can stop his rebellion. Otherwise he will betray us and and he will die with us."

Mimi got silent for a while. After a moment, she decided.

(Ryuuto POV)

We are now walking through Real Street, and from our position, we can see the Casa Manila.

"Let's go."

We both goes inside. The museum is large enough for searching for two people is hard.

"Azuki! Sahiro! Where are you two?!"

We searched for the whole museum, but there's nothing.

"Here!"

While i was walking around, i heard Seiki's voice. I ran towards him as he leads me to a room.

"What happened?"

From the room, we found Azuki's uniform including her underwears with a note: "We kidnapped Azuki Chiho. Go to Manila Cathedral, otherwise say goodbye to her virginity."
